Ray, our guide was great! He gave us a little bit of history from each restaurant as well as stories of old Vegas. The food was amazing! Each place served us their signature dishes. We met some wonderful people in our group. It was a great evening! TIP: arrive hungry! We had a hard time finding Carsons Kitchen because there isnt a big sign. We ended up calling the restaurant. We later found out every couple in our group had to do the same thing. No big deal just an FYI.

We met Donald our Food Tour Guide in downtown Las Vegas at Carsons kitchen. He was really nice and had contacted us prior to the tour to check that there were no food allergies. We visited 3 restaurants during the tour and stopped at a bar in between. The foods we tried were lovely. Beautifully presented and very tasty. It was all in the downtown area of Vegas and it was nice to try the restaurants there off of the main strip. A lot of top chefs are opening restaurants in this area now so it is becoming quite a trendy place, with cool bars. Donald was very informative about all of the dishes and the restaurant staff were very attentive. A great way to suss out whats on offer in downtown Vegas food wise.

I booked this tour a month before my planned visit to Las Vegas because I love a wide variety of good food. I chose the downtown foodie tour because I haven't been to Freemont street for a long time. My wife and I were a part of a group of 9 that began our tour promptly at 5:00pm. We immediately recognized that Donald is an excellent tour guide with a wealth of historic knowledge about the revitalization of Freemont East. The restaurant selections and food presented went beyond my expectations. The staff at each location was friendly and attentive. Most of the time, we were personally greeted by the owner or the chef. Naturally, we were on a bit of a schedule but never felt rushed during the tour. The tour was suppose to last 2.5 hours. At the final destination, we ate and visited with our tablemates and Donald. I looked at my watch and to my surprise it was 8:00. Our tour lasted a full 3 hours. My wife and I fully enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Las Vegas. Enjoyed the foodie tour while visiting Las Vegas last week. The restaurant selections were wonderful - had a great sampling of foods. The tour was well orchestrated, when we arrived at each location our table was waiting with a special menu, the food and drinks were served right away. We were warmly welcomed at each one. Donald not only shared a lot of history about Veags during the tour, he included interesting sites along the way. Truly enjoyed the tour and food.
