119 degrees! But an excellent trip led by an excellent guide (Kriss).Very informative about geology, history of the area, natural history, early settlers etc.At this temperature though you can't be away from the air conditioning of the minibus more than say 10 minutes.Very good add on to the Grand Canyon and adjacent parks (which we had just done). Minibus fine for a day trip but would be a bit cramped for a longer trip.

My husband and I did this small group day tour through Death Valley, last week and it was a great experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area, which always impresses me when we go on any kind of tour. They always seem to educate their passengers extremely well on whatever the tour is about. Our group consisted of 2 other couples, which was perfect. We seem to like the smaller group option more so than the bigger groups. It feels more personal to us this way._br/_ Our tour started off early in the morning, with the driver picking us up at our hotel, on the strip. They provided with us, Lots of water and a packed lunch. During the tour, we made about 6 or 7 scenic stops within the park. All the locations were unique and amazing in color. The park is absolutely huge and we were only able to see a small fraction of it. The weather was perfect that day...only at some points during the day did it warm up. All in all, this tour made for about a 10 hour day._br/_ Visiting Death Valley National Park is easy to do on your own, if you had your own car and didn't want to be affiliated with the tour groups. if you do go on your own, you won't get the history or the educational background behind the area/park.

For the money this was a poor tour. It cost quite a lot of money and I had expected much more. The amount of time actually spent in Death Valley was minimal. Our visit to Furnace Creek consisted of sitting under a tree with a sandwich. The so called picnic left a lot to be desired. My own was ordered specifically for a vegetarian and was as sloppy roll with some salad...not even a slice of cheese! the guide never stopped for breath...most of his nattering was about himself, his interest in reading and the stories he had read. Spend your hard earned cash eslewhere.

The scale of Death Valley is awesome and stunning. Our guide Kriss from Brindlestiff Tours really helped to make the day very special._br/_ We were collected on time at 0800 at our hotel New York New York. Once in the area, stops at several points, display the uniqueness of the place. It's hot as you would expect, but cold water and air conditioning in the coach helped alleviate matters. The standard tour visits Dante's View, Zabriski Point, Devils Golf Course, Badwater and the Artist's Palette. We were returned to our hotel at 1700 hours. Brilliant a Day.

Kriss was an excellent tour guide! He's knowledgeable, articulate, and a very nice guy. It was cooler than usual, 108 degrees. Wow! Be prepared for the heat. The route and views were very good. Great stops for time to stretch and take awesome photos. The van was fairly comfortable however leg room was limited. Overall, we're very glad we booked it. Viator delivered once again!

Driver should listen to the needs of the passengers. There is no need for the driver to talk all day, narrating interesting points yes but I did not like an not all day loud narration.

This was a magnificent small group tour. The guide, John was one of the best guides you could have. Very knowledgeable and keen to share his knowledge with you. Death Valley was truly amazing and something you need to see with your own eyes to truly appreciate. It was probably the hottest place I have ever been to in my life. The walk out on the salt plain was amazing. I can highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.

Tour with a small group, very professionally guided with a real personal touch. More than enough time to see all the highlights such as Dante's peak, Zabriskie Point, Badwater Basin, Devil's golf course and more.

Great fun and Joel was an excellent host and driver with loads of local knowledge. Went in January so the weather was perfect, not too hot or too cold. Also, the best stuff was saved till the end so the day kept getting better and better! Would recommend to anyone looking to spend a day outside of Vegas.

What a wonderful adventure we had. Our driver who was knowledgeable, friendly and had a great voice to listen to. I'm sorry, his name escapes me at this time. Dante's view was our first stop in Death Valley and the wind was crazy and it was chilly, not usually for that area. By the time we made our way down to below Sea Level, the wind was still crazy but a lot warmer. Could not imagine doing that trip during the summer. Looking for something different to do, this is a tour for you. So many amazing sites to see. Will post some photo's later.

Loved this tour and even though it was within a small area of the National Park was none the less full of extraordinary sights ----- each one quite different and quite amazing. We were lucky to see the wild flower super bloom and our guide Jeannie made sure we stopped at a good spot to get great photos. Was a truly wonderful day and fulfilled my wish to see Death Valley.

Peter was a terrific tour guide. He clearly enjoyed leaning new information and sharing his knowledge with visitors. He was extremely patient in letting the 4 of us explore drop-off sites at our own pace. Thanks to Peter, I have a new appreciation for red, green, and yellow rock strata, gigantic salty underground aquifers, and geologic time.

I have to start off by saying my tour company was incredible. They have great customer service and also a great staff base. Being a small company, they have great quality control and it shows. The tour guide, Jen, got us around to the highlights of the park and provided us with plenty of information, as well as ample time at each stop. I never felt rushed. There are times when you'll feel like you are on the surface of the moon or mars thanks to the unearthly geological features of the park. Definitely look into this day trip as well as this company.

This was the best tour yet. Chris was our guide. He was extremely informative about Death Valley. The whole area was beautiful. No sand dessert here. Salt and more salt. What an experience. Next time I am in Vegas , I am going to Death Valley again. Great tour!_br/_ Thanks Chris and Viator

It was a wonderful experience! Our guide/driver was very knowledgable, dependable and accommodating. He was an excellent driver, manouvering through many curves and hills through part of the return portion of the trip, all the while providing pleasant conversation, information and peaceful silence to enjoy the beauty of the landscape. There were only 6 of us including the guide. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. The weather was great. There was a slight sprinkle of rain and cloud cover so that the temperature was moderated to the point that we could walk out onto the salt flats of Death Valley and spend some time there. We never felt rushed. There was plenty of cold water provided and stops as required. A great excursion, without the hassle of having to drive yourself, if you have a full day to plan.
