Starting on the steps of the famed Mob Museum and led by a top tour guide, our tour is an easy stroll through the historic Casino Corridor with its heritage neon, and into a new neighborhood, Fremont East, an exciting retail, entertainment, arts & festival district with cool urban lounges and cozy restaurants. You'll see first hand how Fremont Street is the historic heart of Las Vegas and get a sense of how this once dusty outpost in the middle of the Mojave Desert became one of the most iconic cities of all time.
On this small-group tour, you will discover one of the most famous streets in Las Vegas - Fremont Street. Before there was the Strip, Las Vegas centered around this infamous street which in 1905, became the first paved road in Las Vegas. How times have changed!
Your tour guide will take you through 10 historic blocks and 12 iconic stops including the famous Neon Cowboy and several historic casinos. You can count on seeing a lively streetscape including a bevy of pedestrian showgirls and the aerial tourists of the Slotzilla zip line and you will hear about The Mob Museum and Neon Museum and stop by the new Fremont East with the Container Park and hipster shops.

This walking tour was really fun and informative. I have been to that area before and still learned many things and visited places that I would not have without the tour. We took this tour on our first night in Vegas after being in an airplane most of the day. A great way to stretch your legs and get to know about Old Las Vegas. Our guide was fun and informative and our evening ended with a nice drink and photo. Highly suggest this tour.

This tour was amazing!!! Anyone can go downtown Las Vegas and walk Fremont street, but taking this pop culture tour was incredible. Our tour guide Rick Hooker was so knowledgeable of this city's history and took us to some hidden history treasures we would have not visited on our own. If you are going to take the time to visit Fremont street, we highly recommend that you take this tour. This is a must do!!!! Worth every second of it!

Very interesting to learn more about the history of Las Vegas, see the old casinos and another side of town around the container park. One could tell that Rick truly cares about his city and its further development. I highly recommend to Las Vegas visitors to get off the strip a bit and discover the downtown area - taking this tour is a great way to do so.
