The cruise departed from Waterloo Pier, but it’s a 40 minutes round tour only, with a guide giving a full (and amusing) explanation about London attractions and its river. The departure time can be defined when retrieving the tickets in the London Eye ticket desk.
Loved the Eye. Wish the cruise explained more sights, they seem to treat it like public transport with a few random sights pointed out.

The cruise and London Eye are magical, but I recommend doing this at the end of your trip, as opposed to day 1 like we did. It would have been nice to try and find all sites we'd seen from both the river and above London.

We had seen the ques days before so we arrived early and We waited for hours in a que we were told to form. Waited from 8am until opening at 11am only for the que to be opened up 30 people behind us. The tour organisers where not sympathy or understanding at all. We were mislead by staff and so disappointed by the attitude of staff we left the ride after it broke down before our turn. Will not return

Had an excellent weekend in London with friends. The highlight was the London Eye and the Boat trip to Greenwich, you see so much of the beautiful city. We were very lucky with our weather which I am sure adds to the pleasure. I would highly recommend doing both of these trips if visiting London.

Cruising down the Thames River enabled us to see London in a unique way. The tour guides have a sense of humor. We were able to get at one stop, see the sites and then get back on for the ride back. This was nice.

Awesome, highly recommend! I loved the fact that you just pick up your tickets then you're on your own. The only downside was that I thought the London Eye ticket was skip the line but that was totally my misunderstanding. The line wasn't too bad though. The ride on the Eye is smooth and the views are spectacular. The Thames river cruise was awesome too. We were able to use the cruise all day to go back and forth between Tower, Westminster and London Eye Piers, very convenient!

Walked all over area asking where to get tickets. No one at either the boat or the eye seemed to know. Took over an hour to find that ticket pickup was across river from London Eye at boat dock. No signs or accurate directions.

This by all had to be one of my most favorite things to do in London. We had a gorgeous morning, lines moved very quickly and the pictures and views from the compartments were awesome. It moves so slow and the compartments do not shift, that even if you are afraid of heights you can do this.

London Eye was a fantastic experience and strongly recommended for any visitors to London. However despite arriving by 10am we were instructed our time slot would not be until 3:30 and to return at 2:45. It was our plan to do the Eye during the morning and did inconvenience our afternoon plans.

My daughter and I flew from Atlanta to Paris but had a 9 hour layover in Toronto where I rented a car and drove from Toronto to Nigeria Falls. We then returned to board our flight to Paris. Before leaving Atlanta I purchased all our excursions on Viator, which was the best thing EVER. I did not have to worry about using my card across country and was able to book weekly when I was paid so that the excursions would not cost so much. Once we arrived in Paris we stayed there for a few days and took a day trip riding the Euro train to Europe. Arriving in Europe we were able to jump on the hop on hop off bus purchased on Viator to the London Eye and Thames River Cruise. This package is a must experience. It was so convenient to have tickets already purchased. If visit here don't forget to try the fish and chip restaurant located right in front on the London Eye.

We'd already traveled the Thames as part of our tour to the Tower of London and seeing the Crown Jewel's, so we passed on doing it again, but we did take The London Eye part of this package...once again no big deal and we found the only thing that was worth seeing was Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. London seems to look rather dirty and cold when you see it all from such a height.

Theeye ride gives a great view of london and the river cruise allows you to see many things along the thames with someone to provide information about them. Taking it to greenwich gives you an opportunity to see what it has to offer included in the ticket. Greenwich was very worthwhile

Great to do, when you pick up the tickets you have 24 hours to use the boat ride and longer for the London eye, so it doesn't matter too much which day it's booked for. Good value

We enjoyed both the London Eye and the river cruise. The only negative is that it could be a little difficult to know where to exchange the vouchers for a ticket. It was a relaxing day and we have no complaints!

This is a great way to see London. The boat tour is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. The tour guide was knowledgeable . The only thing is to remember to dress warm. The eye is wonderful. It isn and #39;t like a ride because it moves so slowly. I never felt nervous about the height.
