We had good time with London Eye River Cruise. If we were younger we would certainly have taken the optional Standard London Eye. As Senior Citizens we didn't feel comfortable taking the wheel although we are sure it would have been thoroughly enjoyable.

The trip was really good pointing out many of the historic sites from the water side. If we could have changed anything it would have been the constant references to Coca Cola and Merlin. Otherwise, I would say it is good value for money if booked in advance.

Boat trip was good but the numpty of a security guard by the booking office didn't know what an eticket was and sent us to que so we missed the opportunity of sitting up top which would have given us a better experience.

We enjoyed the river cruise and the London Eye. The only thing I wish we would have realized is that the lines are so long, that the standard tickets aren't that helpful to get on the Eye. We had to pay the additional amount to do the fast entry to avoide waiting all afternoon to get in.

Loved the River Cruise - wonderful way to get acquainted with the city - first thing we did. Excellent guide. London Eye was fun, but very, very long line-up even if you already have your tickets. We did both on the same afternoon, day that we arrived. Would recommend to people if you're on your very first trip to London. Children would enjoy too, but again - long line-ups for the Eye.

The river cruise and the London Eye were great, despite Saturday crowds. The only problem was finding where to redeem voucher and obtain tickets. There are two separate places, and I found myself standing for rather a long time in the London Eye queue, when I wanted to do the boat trip first, as arranged. The instructions given were not at all clear and had it not been for an extremely helpful London Eye employee, we would have missed the boat.

Really enjoyed both parts of this trip. Pre-booking the tickets saved waiting in a long queue at the London Eye and coupled with the cruise tickets were good value for money. We enjoyed the commentary on the cruise.

Sounded a good deal, when it was downloaded onto my phone it says print or show them this e ticket_br/_ when we got to the eye they said that i couldnt get on today unless i printed out the ticket as they had used all of there paper tickets that they would redeam against my e ticket, they would not budge evan though i had traveled 100miles with two children!_br/_ Be warned

Went to ticket office with our printout for the 4pm ride we had paid for online, told the time on the printout meant nothing, and to just get in line with the other 400 or so people waiting. Could have stood in line earlier and paid much less by using coupon off hop on hop off bus.

This is the first time that we have used Viator. We were surprised how well it worked. As we were in London during a Bank holiday and it was crowded around the Eye our voucher and times were confirmed quickly and without problems. We will use Viator going forward as it took out a lot of hassle and saved us time. Bravo Viator!

Recommend taking the river cruise first to familiarize yourself with the various buildings at ground level, then going up on the Eye to get a higher perspective. Be prepared for long lines to first get your tickets for the boat ride and the Eye and then an even longer line to get onto the Eye itself.

Would have been fantastic day out in London if not for misleading information. We booked and were given a time slot of 3.30 for eye and 4.45 for cruise. Told to be at county hall to exchange voucher for tickets at 3. Omg the queues. 20 mins to exchange voucher to then be told we should take cruise first as won't be time due to how long queues are for London eye. I queried this as we had booked time slots and I was told you can go on at any time?? So we had spent the day worrying and rushing through other stuff in case we were late when in fact we could have just gone at our own pace when it suited us. So we went and took the cruise as the queues where enormous and then went and queued after for the london eye. It was impressive but spoilt by feeling we had been misled and not sure all the queuing was worth it.

If you only have a few days to spend in London, the river cruise is great and you'll be able to see most of the must see attractions in London! Only downside was there were a lot of kids on the cruise that we took maybe a field trip and the tour guide was only on speakers - we can barely hear the guide.

We enjoyed the cruise very much, unfortunately the weather did not allow us to sit outside, too chilly but we were able to see some sights from below. The sound system wasn't up to speed, had interference with passing vessels and it was hard to hear the captain when he spoke.

We had a great time we did the London Eye at dusk and the River Crusie just about 5 p.m and they were both amazing. Picture were great, it was a beautiful clear evening. The criuise captian was very informative and made it all very interesting and entertaining

Highly enjoyable. The Eye and river cruise have become a must do for visitors to London. You get to see the city from above and from the river level to get two different perspectives. This is a very busy and in demand tour, so needs to be planned for those on limited time frames.

The London Eye was excellent. However, the cruise was a waste of time. The commentator did not obviously know the area of the Thames we were passing. He had no comments of any historical nature to make about some of the landmarks we passed and was much more interested in getting the young schoolchildren to make as much noise as possible when we passed under each bridge, which was only described in tems of each bridge's colour!
