We were only in London for a day and a half - and we saw and did it all! This tour was a great way to introduce us to the city of London. Our tour guide Trudy was very friendly, respectful, informative, entertaining and professional. Mark our coach driver was fantastic getting us close to where we needed to go with ease...or so it seemed to us._br/_ Trudy knew the best places to go to view the changing of the guards and she pointed out many landmarks and told us interesting stories to go with them._br/_ Whilst this tour could take 50 we were lucky with a small group of 16._br/_ Having free time at Trafalgar Square for lunch was great as we could choose what we wanted to do with 1.5hours to do it._br/_ The tour of St Pauls Cathedral was fantastic as was the Tower of London. We were then left to our own devices to finish looking around the Tower of London and catch the River Thames cruise. We also took the option of the London eye which was great despite hazy conditions. _br/_ Highly recommend

Sheila was an outstanding tour guide. Lots of history and hit all the highlights._br/_ We had originally purchased the optional flexible date London Eye with this package. Unfortunately after a week of communicating through Viator to the vendor we found the tickets are not flexible. We needed to use them BEFORE our tour and the tickets are distributed on the tour and must be used the same day. The vendor did finally agree to issue the tickets before if I went to their office although they didn't share where that was!, by that time I had cancelled the London Eye portion and rebooked as Skip the Line separately

We found the tour a great way to get our bearings in London and our guide provided tons of history and interesting anecdotes. We felt time spent at the Tower of London was too short. While we saw the Crown Jewels, we never got into the tower itself.

This trip was well worth the money we paid. Richard the tour guide was very informative. There was a special service at St. Pauls Cathedral so we couldnt go into the sanctuary, but we did get to go into the crypts where the architect of the cathedral is entombed along with several other famous military personnel. Our visit to Buckingham Palace was also memorable. The incoming guardsmen were being lead by a band of bagpipe players. Very moving watching the changing of the Guard. After lunch we went to the Tower Of London and were spellbound by the Crown Jewels. The river cruise was only diminshed because we had already scheduled a dinner cruise the day before on the Thames. Otherwise it was a great day.

This was a good day - our tour guide James was great, he was very knowledgeable and very English. The only issue we had for the whole day was that we would have liked to have been in a better position to see the Changing of the Guard. Otherwise all other locations were great, enough time to spend at each without feeling too rushed. The Tower of London was the highlight of the day, we were free to wander the grounds at our own pace and really explore. I would recommend this tour to people who are on a limited timeframe, have a day and would like to see some key highlights of London. We finished the day with the cruise up the Thames and it was a great way to finish off a lovely day.

Great way to start a vacation to London! We've used Viator.com more than a dozen times and continue to be impressed with the diversity of tours offered and quality of guides provided. This tour started at 9 am at the Victoria Coach Station. That's not a great location, as it's a bit dirty and crowded, but that's not any reflection on the tour or Viator.com. The tour was actually by Evan Evans, and was done professionally. Our bus was not completely full so we didn't feel cramped driving around the city or when we got off and walked around. We purchased the optional London Eye tour also, which fit well into the day. We saw the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace toured St. Paul's Cathedral, walked near but not in Westminster Cathedral saw Big Ben which is under construction, walked through the Tower of London and saw the Crown Jewels which were awesome!. Got to see the Tower Bridge too, which many of us Americans think is the London Bridge, which it isn't! Had a boat ride at the end of the tour, which took us near the London Eye...The boat ride is well worth it, as they point out many sights as well. Overall a wonderful day, which ended up around 7 pm. We went in mid-November, so the crowds were low, and we had to wait only 10 minutes to get on the London Eye. I highly recommend this tour for those wishing to familiarize themselves with the beautiful city of London.

We truly enjoyed this excursion!! Since we only had one full day to sightsee in London, we felt that we got the most for the money on this excursion. The guide was delightful and really explained things very well!! The day before, however, was a different story. We were to be picked up at Gatwick for our ride to our hotel in Central London. When we got there, no one was there to pick us up. We went to a nearby kiosk and explained our dilemma. Unbelievably, he knew the name of the company that wasn't there immediately!! He said they were NEVER there on time. I was very angry that I paid decent money and no one was there to pick us up. Once the man at the kiosk made a phone call for us, we found out that the driver was at the wrong terminal!! Since you had our flight information, i thought that was unacceptable. If you relied on this company for your income, you would have none!! I really don't feel we should have to pay full price for this service since it was poorly done! If this was my only experience with Viator, I would probably never call them again.

Really Wonderful tour guide!! Great way of seeing and getting some of the History of London. Very well paced and free time was appreciated. One drawback was that we were not able to ride the London Eye due to the late arrival of the river cruise.

Tour bus did not leave until almost an hour after departure time. This affected our time at some places. Was not advised of London Eye hours so after river cruise went to London Eye only to find out they were closed. Fortunately, was able to use London Eye pass on different day.

We had an awesome tour of London. Trudy was our guide and was one of the best tour guides we ever had. She added many highlights and culture tips that were beyond what you read about. It was a busy tour and highly recommended. We used the boat voucher the next day and it extended the whole experience. Definitely a great tour but know it requires a lot of walking.

This sightseeing tour was exactly as described. Evan Evans was the tour group and Norma was a great tour guide. The tour itself was pretty basic, but the guide was disappointing. Total lack of explanation about any of the sites or the history. He really just rambled incoherently. A few very rude people on the tour as well. Obviously not Viator's fault, but they kept delaying us and even though the guide kept threatening to leave them behind if they would not return to the coach at the requested hour they did this 3 different times, of course he did not, and this slowed the entire morning immensely, causing us not to have enough time for lunch.

We enjoyed seeing the changing of the guard, and our tour guide was a wonderful, English gentleman who was a wealth of information. The Tower of London was the last stop on our trip. We waited 45 minutes in line and were frankly too exhausted and frustrated with waiting to really enjoy it. If you only have a short time in London, I would recommend it. If you have more time... space it out a bit more, so you can enjoy it more.

This tour consisted mostly riding by site on the bus with no time or very short times to stop and take a look at anything. Our guide was an older Scottish lady who kind of talked over the group, as if she always knew what was better for us, since we were only tourist. She never said thing like this but this is the feeling I got from her conversations and interactions with the group. The times we did stop, I didn't feel as if there was enough time to take in the surrounding or history of the particular place. It was my 1st time in London and lots of colleges at my job suggested Viator and even AAA suggested them, but I wasn't impressed with the tour for the money spent. I could have figured out London and Paris on my own without the huge outlay.
