Our flight left at 6.30am, for some absurd reason we were picked up at 1:30am. This meant we were at Gatwick airport by 3am and had to wait for check in/bag drop to open. I understand needing 5 hour windows for travel through the day given traffic in London however thought that a bit more logic could be applied to early morning flights. A pick up at 3am would have been sufficient.

Driver was on time. Car was a Mercedes sedan and I was lucky enough to be the only one being picked up at that time, so I basically got a private transfer to Heathrow in 40 mins for 28!

I had SUCH a great experience with my ride from my hotel to Heathrow airport! My driver was right on time and since the location of the hotel I was staying at was at a busy intersection, he made sure he pulled on one of the roads that was a little quieter to make sure I could get in the car safely. I had a great conversation with my driver, too, which made getting through the heavy traffic in London a lot quicker! I arrived at the airport in plenty of time to get through security without a rush and was even able to get some lunch before my long travels back to the States. I am SO happy I booked with viator again and I will definitely use viator again for when I travel! Thank you, viator!

The driver was waiting at the arrivals gate at Heathrow with my name visible on his board. We shared the van with 3 other people. The driver was helpful and friendly. It took at least an hour for transport to our hotel with drop off of the other people at there hotels and the traffic in London. Would definitely use this company again.

City Transfers was a bust in all aspects. We were flying out of Gatwick Airport in England to Dublin, Ireland and our flight did not leave to 4:00 pm. They insisted that they had to pick us up from the hotel at 11:00 am as we were a shared ride. There was no other passengers for this ride and we arrived at the airport 4 hours before our flight which took away from seeing some other sites the morning of our departure.

Our driver came exactly during the time we were told to expect him. And when I say exactly, I mean it literally-- without a second to spare. He came to pick us up 4.5 hours before our flight, so that left us with plenty of time in case something would go wrong. The drive was good, and he didn't even have to rely on a GPS navigation device to get us there. Even with detours due to road construction, he still knew how to get us to the airport. Highly recommended!

Was expecting to be picked up in a Limo or similar Merc mini van, it was an Uber driver in a 5 year old Toyota. Got us to the airport on time, but drove a bit fast through the traffic. Felt to be the same quality as if we had just booked a local taxi. We had used Transfer services in Zurich and Paris and these were far superior to this experience.

This was nice but we were told we were being picked up at 1:40 and by 2pm I had to call asking where the driver was. He finally showed up 15min later. Good thing our flight wasn't for a while or we would have been scrambling. The driver was nice and very nice car. I would have understood a few minutes late because things happen but over 30 minutes is not acceptable. At least email me or call me and let me know they were running behind.

Terrible communication with vendor!! I don't know if the vendor changed from previous reviews but I worked with City Transfer UK - look them up on TripAdvisor. For a few days I tried to get a hold of them and was not able to so I did not have confirmation of my pick up. The company did pick me up in but it reeked of body odor and I was getting nauseous. I was also dropped off 6 hours before my flight because the Company decided that was most convenient for me - it was really unfortunate my trip time was cut off simply to save a few dollars since I could have taken a transfer provided by my hotel for 15 more but I already paid and Viator wasn't willing to help me cancel even though the Company never responded to my communication.

The driver was on time, and it was an easy ride to the airport. Just beware, traffic is horrible in London, so if taking a cab, fares can rise. Upon getting to the airport, tipped the driver, then he asked me for the fare. I told him it had been paid to Viator and showed him the paperwork. Standing in the rain, it took him 10 minutes to connect and confirm. He was polite and said he was sorry. Just a bit of lack of communications, which should be checked out. No matter, I still will go with Viator.
