This trip was fast paced and we packed a lot into one day. The train trip was uneventful a good thing and our guide was with us pretty much every step of the way. The Seine boat ride was very nice, lunch at the Eiffel Tower was good, but our time at the Louvre was cut a little short due to fellow passengers being late to the bus leaving the Eiffel Tower. Tip: don't be those people. This was just a taste of Paris but enough to whet my appetite for more.

Was a great tour. Actually having lunch at the Eiffel Tower was fun, but the food itself was nothing that great. Would have liked a little more free time at the Eiffel Tower which maybe could have been done by shortening the tour around the city. The river cruise was great and the Eurostar train was super! Would still recommend this tour!

We were quite disappointed in this tour. They canceled our lunch on the Eiffel Tower without notifying us. If we had known, we would have scheduled a different tour. To be fair, it says the lunch may be unavailable, but be aware it probably happens more than it indicates and without notification. They did upgrade us to lunch on the river cruise, but we were placed in the middle of the boat with a limited view of the attractions. The luncheon didnt make up for our disappointment in not having a champagne lunch on the Eiffel Tower. :-

Overall, this was a good tour to get a small taste of Paris. We enjoyed the lunch at the Eiffel Tower and took the opportunity to go with our guide on a private tour of the Louvre. There are some things to know, however. It's long day 6 am to about 8:30 pm and a lot of the time is taken up by logistics. Note to Viator - Unfortunately, upon arriving to Paris the bus was not there to pick up our group and we waited about 40 minutes on the street. All in all, we had roughly 3 hours of actual activity - 1 hr Siene boat cruise nice, 1 hr Eiffel Tour lunch very good, and 1 hr at the Louvre for 80 euro extra, 2 ppl recommend. The rest of the time was train, traffic, and security for Eiffel Tower. Some people in our group opted to split off once we got to Paris and did their own thing relaxing lunch at a cafe, shopping etc and they seemed to enjoy the day a lot more than we did. If you are travel savvy, one could easily get to Paris taking Eurostar on your own and probably spend less. Also, be prepared to move fast. A few in our group could not walk fast and had a hard time making it to the meeting point on time. We do not have any issues, but still found it fast paced even for us Last point - bring your own food for the train ride. You will not have time to get anything in Paris before boarding on the way back and the food on the train is not very good. Overall, if you only have a day to get to Paris and are not comfortable doing it on your own, this tour will work and you'll get a feel for whether you might want to come back for a longer visit. If I were to do it again, I would look into other tours or see what it would take to do on my own.

This tour was very rushed and tour guide was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the money! Do yourself a favor, spend the extra money and get a private tour guide to see Paris.

Wow... what an incredible experience. Doing a day trip from London to Paris is a lot to do in one day, but you get a taste. Charlotte was awesome in taking care of us as well as he knowledge of Paris and the Louvre. Our day didn't start off the best due to one passenger in particular. I won't go into details, but suffice it to say he made a bit of our train ride a bit challenging... Charlotte however handled the situation like a pro Go Charlotte!!. We're now very interested in exploring Paris a bit more and can't wait to do so in the future. Thanks Charlotte for making our first time to the City of Lights a wonderful experience!!

Meeting spot at St Pancras was difficult find by following directions on the information sheet._br/_ The Louvre is not open on Tuesdays. Not noted in any of the information we received or read._br/_ One needs euro coins to use lavatory at the shopping mall at Louvre only option on Tuesdays

It was a great day in Paris. We didn't have much time in our trip and this was a perfect way to see Eiffle Tower while were were visiting London. The day was long, but worth it. I would highly recommend the trip. I checked out the first class upgrade and I don't think it would have been worth the almost 200 more for the train ticket. You can buy food and drinks on the train or even bring them with you.

This tour was the highlight of our vacation. The tour guide, Anna was very sweet and knew her stuff. There was a lot to do and she kept us on track. The river cruise was fantastic, but the champagne lunch at the Eiffel Tower was excellent. Nothing lacking here. The visit to the Louvre was a bit overwhelming. The maps were confusing and by yhe time we found Mona Lisa it was almost time to leave. We had a delay on the train ride back to London, but it all worked out. I look forward to my ne t trip.

This was a decent tour, but we were really rushed and almost didn't make it back to the train to London on time it was extremely stressful waiting through the customs line wondering if we'd make it or not. We also didn't get to have lunch at the Eiffel Tower because it was closed that day and we weren't told until the last minute. They gave us a river cruise lunch instead. It was ok, but no comparison to lunch on the Eiffel Tower.

Tour was OK, but mared by fellow passengers who didn't return to the bus on time as the were shopping. This delayed the rest of us and didn't leave enough time at the other stops. Guides should be allowed to leave guests on their own if they can't follow instructions. However our guide was concerned about the missing travelers and opted to wait for them.

This was a great way to see a bit of Paris in one day. I would recommend that the tour mention an exact place to meet at the Euro train as we wondered around a lot trying to figure that out. The tour guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. We added on the Louvre for a little extra and of course we would have loved more time there, saw the highlights but that was all. Lunch at the Eiffel Tower definitely a high light. We were really glad we did this tour.

We truly enjoyed our day trip to Paris. Our guide, Charlotte, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I do not remember our driver's name, but he also did a wonderful job driving us around the streets of Paris safely. The sights and monuments were memorable. Unfortunately for us, the weather did not cooperate so due to high winds, we were not able to do the lunch in the Eiffel Tower however, we will be refunded that portion of our cost. Obviously, this was no fault of the tour company, and they did drive us around a very cute little area to find a place to have lunch on our own, which we really enjoyed, as it gave us more of a local flavor. The boat ride down the Seine was also quite beautiful and memorable. The train was late arriving due to weather, so we missed out on seeing some of the planned sights, and also had some difficulties on the return trip, as we departed from Paris about an hour late again due to weather issues but this was no fault of the tour company, and we will be receiving compensation for the inconvenience through Eurostar. Tip: listen for that announcement on the train if that should happen on your trip. Other than the unplanned delays, the Eurostar was very comfortable and we met some wonderful people on board. We were very impressed with the service of all the coordinating companies and would highly recommend the tour. It is a great way to see if you would want to do a more extended visit to Paris.

Our group of 4 took this tour on November 4th 2017. I would like to share our experience. Booking and adjusting our trip was not a problem through Viatour, but when we went to take the day trip from the train station things seemed to unravel quickly. Our instructions were to arrive at the station way too early. The train does not leave until 7:50 a.m. on Saturday which makes for arrival in Paris not until after 11 a.m. Our train unfortunately had delays, so we did not leave the station in Paris until after 12. After we left the station our whole day was quite rushed due to the delay. We zipped through the streets of Paris for approximately 30 minutes, only to arrive at the boat tour that we had missed due to this delay, The reality is there would not have been time for both the coach tour and boat tour even if we had been on time. If we had made the boat tour we never would have been at lunch on time. Very poor planning on their behalf. After we parked, and then realized the boat tour would not happen as scheduled we were rushed off to the Eiffel tower for lunch. The bus driver and tour guide were quite frazzled by the new security barriers at the Tower, which therefore made us even more rushed to get up the tower for lunch. They constantly made mention that we were running out of time everywhere we went. Our wait at the Tower was not long, one perk of having this tour is the fast track line to get up the Tower. We did enjoy our lunch, quickly, made our way up and then down the tower and planned the next 2 hours left of our day. Our guide said we could take the boat tour at 3 which would mean no free time to explore the city for the afternoon. Everyone with a ticket for Le Louvre had no choice but to skip the boat. We decided to grab a cab and drive around the city for a bit and do some shopping at our own pace. Although this was our choice, this of course was an extra cost. After exploring and meeting the group at Le Louvre we then headed back in the coach to the train station. It was a nice night time view of the city in the coach. The train was very straightforward, and was definitely an enjoyable way to get to and from Paris for a day. If I ever did this tour again I would much rather book the trip on my own. The 6:18 a.m. departure from London to Paris is the way to go. You will be able to buy Big Bus Tour tickets on the train and see much more of the city than taking this Tour. I would not be intimidated at all travelling through the city as everyone we spoke to was so pleasant and helpful. I completely understand the train delay was out of Viatour's control but I would still not recommend this trip to anyone due to our experience. It was not well organized and often felt like it was thrown together the day before. With a little research and planning anyone with some Trip Advisor savvy could plan this better._br/_ This is something I plan to take up with customer service at Vaitour!

This tour was a good experience and covered all major attractions in Paris within a short amount of time. Our tour guide was good BUT had us waiting for around 20 minutes when we arrived in Paris, for a person that NEVER showed up. I felt that really cut our time and all throughout we appeared to be in RUSH MODE to make up for that time lost earlier.

Based on the tour as described in Viator tour options, four of us booked the FIRST CLASS Eurostar , escorted tour.. We found the description of the Eurostar FIRST CLASS breakfast and dinner highly overstated and misleading. The food and service was in no way first class and we all wished we had made other arrangements and chosen to pay the lower fare. Neither the food nor seating in first class warrants paying more. And we discovered our first class seating with VIATOR, didn't include access to BUSINESS/FIRST CLASS lounge at the stations. We think Viator could be more truthful. Also be aware that not all Eurostar trains have wifi. Our morning train did, but the evening train did not._br/_ The tour overall was very good and the Paris guide, Charlotte, was exceptionally well informed and excellent. The bus, the boat, Lunch at Eiffel Tour, and Louvre museum tours were very well coordinated.

The trip was just as advertised. Train to and from Paris was great. Time at each part of the tour was just right, enough time to enjoy each stop. Only issue was that meeting the guide at the train station. The e-voucher stated to meet at one location but the groups were moved to other locations away from EuroStar which was very confusing. Be prepared to for the tour operator to be later then the expected arrival time. You can't check in or go through security until you receive your train tickets from the group tour operator. We had a different person as our tour guide traveling on the train and throughout the day. She was wonderful and very informative. We will definitely book another tour when traveling abroad again. The EuroStar is the best way to go.

Halim was our tour guide. He stayed with us through every step of the trip. He even stood around while we ate our lunch at Eiffel Tower. He escorted us to Paris and back to London. He was there to put us back on the first class coach when on our Eurotrain return trip to London we were incorrectly assigned to the economy class.

Charlotte was a great tour guide! Glad we opted to buy the tickets from her for the Louvre. The alternative is to hang out in the louvre complex you can't spend your free time touring Paris. The cruise was great, and lunch at the Eiffel Tower was great! The food was excellent, but could have used a refill on the champagne!! Loved that we had enough time everywhere to take pics. The train was so easy and the whole day was magical!!

Wonderful trip! The ride on the Euro Star was very comfortable. Once we arrived in Paris, everything went almost exactly to schedule. Between the bus ride and the boat tour on the River Seine, we were able to see so many great sites. We only had a slight delay getting to our reservation on the Eiffel Tower, but otherwise right on time. The lunch was very nice, and the view amazing. Oooh la la! Our tour guide Alm was quite a character, and made the tour that much more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Paris in one day. Voila!

This is a very quick, very tiring highlights trip. The Eurostar standard seats are cramped. Much worse than Amtrak coach class, and close to budget airline tight. We ended up in a family quad seat, facing two other members of the tour, with a small table between us and no legroom at all. Ask for forward facing seats, or spring for the First Class seats. The best part was the Seine river cruise. It was relaxing and gorgeous. Everything else was swamped with tourists. Even with a guide, and using group entrances, it was still difficult to actually experience anything. Lunch was a chicken breast/mashed potatoes/bread rolls/chocolate mousse tart, served in a nice restaurant in the Eiffel tower. The people who opted for the Louvre only got about 45 minutes inside. Other than the meal, this was equivalent to a Hop On/Hop Off ride around Paris. Be prepared to walk fast and climb stairs. Not a good tour for mobility impaired, in my opinion. Glad we did it, but we'll plan several days next time.

We had a great experience on this trip. The train was a comfortable way to travel and we opted to upgrade to the breakfast and dinner on the train which we highly recommend. The day was great - Lunch at the Eiffel Tower was delicious and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to accommodate us. He also gave us a wonderful in-depth background on many of the paintings and sculptures at the Louvre. Would encourage this trip as a great introduction to Paris!

Arriving at the station thinking our train departed at 6.30am as written on the Viator Voucher was unfortunately not the case. When we met with the organisation who handed out our train tickets at 6am they said it will depart at 7.50am. By the time we arrived in Paris, it was almost 11.30am and half the day was gone.

Perfect trip. We had a spare day in London, so this package provided the perfect opportunity to add Paris to our punch list. We loved the river cruise, an unexpected delight to visit a lot of major landmarks. The guides were great and made us feel very comfortable in a foreign city. The fast pass to the Effel Tower was of course the focal point of the tour and it more than met our heightened expectations.

This Trip was poorly planed. The guides were unable to complete the commitment to their guests. The only thing we were able to do was the lunch on the Eiffel tower. I have done quite a few tours through Viator, and all were wonderful. This one was a big disappointment and a waste of money. Beware!

The day trip to Paris with lunch on the Eiffel Tower was very enjoyable. We had a wonderful guide who met the group of us at the Eurostar station, and she addressed each of individually once we boarded the train. We were greeted at the Paris train station by another guide who was very passionate about her city and all of the sites she showed us. She was quite entertaining! There was a LOT of information packed into one day. We had a bus tour followed by a river cruise tour, then to the Eiffel Tower for lunch, and finally to the Louvre. We were only able to see the highlights at the Louvre, because there wasn't enough time to see anymore than that. The only thing I would change is my choice to visit the Louvre in the time we had left. I would choose free time in the city. The Louvre should be a day trip on its own, because there is so much more to see. Other than that, the guides were great, and so was the lunch at the Eiffel Tower.

There were many issues on this Trip._br/_ 1. We were told the Eurostar train would depart at 6:30AM Saturday however, it departed at 8:00AM thus losing 1.5 Hours._br/_ 2. The tours was swapped from Lunch at Eiffel Tower to a Lunch in the Cruise 2 hours. At the beginning it did not seem such an issue however the Boat trip was a waste of time it was not fully open, so one cannot see much._br/_ 3. At the end of the trip there was only 1.5 hours to visit the Louvre Museum which is an insanely small amount of time for this museum.
