Our 2hour tour with Stuart on 4/5/18 was so delightful we wished we had _br/_ Chosen a 4 hour tour. We were whisked around Central London while listening to stories of places, people and Stuart's own take on special places. We saw the Westminster Cathedral which we knew nothing about and saw various gardens and historic sites as well as flats of famous people. Stuart graciously drove us up to Camden Locks which he recommended highly and.........he was so right. We might have missed this vintage, bohemian, pop-scene open air Market!! And the fish and chips were outstanding. We would hire Stuart to take us anywhere around London. He knows his city, how to drive it and to make every place interesting. A five star tour for sure.

A great tour! Stewart was our guide. He took us to lovely hidden places that really allowed us to experience London. We appreciated him not wasting time in traffic. If there was a jam he turned around and went another way. We felt this tour was well worth the price and he took pics of us too.

I dont really know what to say about this tour. It certainly isnt worth the money. Get on the hop on hop off bus, and you see the same thing for a quarter of the price. Our guide, Stuart, kept telling us how good he was, unfortunately, some of the things he showed us was nothing we wanted to see. I would not do this again nor would I recommend it.

We started out with a small list then let Stewart take the lead. He showed us parts of London we would never have seen on our own. Stewart has driven London for over 40 years. He knows it well. He told us historical facts as well as anecdotal stories. It was an awesome tour. He showed us all the different neighborhoods of London. Our driver was Dave and he configured the tour for us. We like to get out of the taxi every once in awhile and he arranged this. In particular, one little courtyard that is right off the street, but you have to know it is there. We parked, walked through a narrow passage, and there it was. It has a rich and interesting history, which Dave described for us. This was our first day in London and we just wanted to get a feel for how things are laid out. Mission accomplished. As a bonus, Dave dropped us off at our afternoon tour location.

Yes worth doing but beware- the black taxi may not be what you expect- a commercial black van thing which would seat about 8 turned up for the 2 of us- very disappointed- when you book a Black Taxi tour of London you expect the classic black London taxi like in the picture. I was obviously so upset that the driver very kindly arranged for us to meet another driver and swap to the real thing. I am sure the tour would have been better if it had started out on the right foot. I would recommend it but be sure to specify you want a classic London black taxi!

Our Black Cab tour was amazing! Since we had done a day with the Hop on Hop off our driver took us to _br/_
places not accessible by the buses. We saw wonderful out of the way streets that we wouldn't know existed had it not been for him. He also showed us a few of the major 'attractions' and added very interesting information about each. The cab was very comfortable and the driver had no qualms about stopping for photo opportunities.

This tour was exceptional! Our wonderful driver/tour guide, who was a London local who picked us up from our AirBNB flat in Soho, was very knowledgeable and we got a great overview of the major highlights of London in a couple of hours. I would highly recommend anyone to take this tour when you first arrive in London to get an idea of the layout of the city and especially if you not up for a great deal of walking. We did it just after arriving in the city. Alternatively, anyone only stopping in London for a few hours would find this useful for a good quick tour to see all of the best of London.
