During this bike tour, cycle on both banks of the Thames, admiring London's top attractions and stopping along the way for photo opportunities. Part of your itinerary will be determined by your guide on the day, depending on the group's overall preferences.
Your sightseeing will include Big Ben, the London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, Borough Market, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge.
Stop for a lunch break at Borough Market, one of London's largest food markets, famous for its wide range of food from all over the world. Fortified, you will continue your tour, crossing one of London's most popular bridges, the Tower Bridge.
From Tower Bridge you will pedal on to the area known as the City of London - the city’s financial center - where you’ll see some of the modern glass skyscrapers that have appeared more recently on the famous London skyline.
You’ll then head on past the Monument to the Great Fire and Leadenhall Market - one of London’s hidden 14th-century gems – and hear how it featured in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Make your way past an old medieval church that was bombed during the World War II blitz before cycling over London Bridge and back to Southwark - where your tour ends.
We wanted to take a tour of London without sitting on a bus and found the Small Group Bike Tour to be just perfect! The group of 16 was split into two groups of 8 which made it easy to navigate and stay together through the narrow London streets. Joe, our guide was very polite and knowledgeable of all the points we visited. The ride was very pleasant and we enjoyed stopping to discuss architecture, historical significance of certain areas and buildings and the fascinating history of London. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who would prefer covering a lot of historical facts while sightseeing some iconic and off the beaten path sights in London.

The tour itself was very good. The stops were unusual and the guide, Nick, informative. But, there is no easy way to get around London on a bicycle with all the foot traffic A lot of the ride was spent weaving around walkers in tight spaces.

Great, great ride and overview of London. Our guide...I beleive Beth was her name...was superb. Great overview of the trip including sites, traffic observance...riding on the LEFt side of the road : cause it's London, ensuring our young riders were close to her for safety. She was just great and made this crowded city very easy to navigate for us. Excellent history lesson, lots of river stops, and we rode ACROSS Tower bridge. Amazing for sure. And a yummy lunch stop in Borough market. highly recommend.

Our guide, Thomas, was delightful. I don't call 11 riders a small group. We found ourselves riding on walkways crowded with many pedestrians, which got very stressful. This distracted from seeing the "sights" between stops.

I would highly recommend any of the bike tours offered including this one. It certainly was an experience getting up close and personal with the London traffic especially the red buses!_br/_

The only down side was that there wasn't the Thames clipper ride as advertised, a bit deceiving as we especially picked this tour to take advantage of the different transports.

Fantastic tour! SO worth the time and money. Our guide was both knowledgeable and personable, and the places we visited were accompanied by neat historical tidbits and anecdotes. I loved the lunch break at the market, and being able to bike across both the Tower Bridge as well as London Bridge. It's a great way to preview places you'd like to spend more time at during your holiday.

Being a road bike rider I wasn't too sure about the fat tire bikes at first. But they turned out to be very comfortable when you are riding at a slow pace. I felt very safe with our knowledgable guide.

This tour was a lot of fun and the tour guide was very knowledgable about almost everything to do with London. He obviously loves the city which is great for those visiting to hear. Our group was only 4 people and it could have probably covered more ground as we seemed to have quite a long lunch break. Ending with a cruise along the Thames was lovely and I would definitely recommend this as a great way to see the sights of London and learn a lot along the way.

What a great way to see London! Cycling along the Thames was spectacular, and a chance to see pretty much 2000 years of British history, and all of the famous landmarks like the Globe, Westminster, the London Eye, and the Tower of London The guide was from London and covered this huge amount of history in a understandable way with great facts and funny stories. He also helped made sure that we cycled along safe areas. Being able to stop for a while in Borough Market for lunch was also a treat. Overall, just a great overview of London!

I really enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it! I've been living in London for over 3 years and still found this bike tour really interesting. The guide was very knowledgeable and informative and we learned about London history in a very entertaining way. We saw some of the best spots in London along the river Thames, including the Tower Bridge, Big Ben, London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, etc. And loved having lunch at Borough Market, great food! Definitely a must if you'd like to see London in a different way!
