Totally overprice food, drinks and souvenirs but this is only to be expected and can't detract from the view. The signposting pointing out significant sites could be a little better but gawking at the London expanse was extraordinary.

The View from the Shard is amazing! You have 2 different floors to view from. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Windsor Castle. My only issue was the bathroom for the first viewing floor. The bath room has a window, reaching form the floor to the ceiling, and it is all glass... with no curtain or anything! It was mildly horrifying. Great view, but not while I'm peeing! Nothing there to cover you at all. And we went to The Shard at sunset.

Very easy to redeem voucher at the tower, all went really smoothly and thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Shard. It's definitely a must when you come to London.

We arrived in London from California in the afternoon and I had booked this for that evening. My husband is an semi-pro photographer and so I thought he would enjoy the view. However, he arrived after 14 hours of flying with a bad migraine and we almost blew it off. We managed to get out and I am SO glad we did. We got there about right about sunset and it is just such a spectacular view and also a nicely social venue. This is just hard to describe its mesmerizing. There are bars up there so you can have a glass of champagne while you watch. They also have a virtual reality ride that I did not try but looks like it is just a blast. This is really something to do while you are in London and if you can swing sunset and then be able to hang around until it gets dark out, you will not be disappointed and your photos will be phenomenal at least his are, which made him feel better too!.

The tour was a disappointment. Too many guests and difficult to hear and the host was very monotone. We actually left the tour after around 1 hour as it was just not interesting or animated sufficiently.

This was a lovely view of London from on-high. They had a few places up in the location where you could get a beverage. I found the experience what I expected.

.....for some time I have listened to and read reviews on the Shard. So I had to experience for myself and pay a visit!_br/_ Personally I found my visit very disappointing! boring! and had it not been for the sunshine. A waste of my Saturday!_br/_ Even with the enticement of a glass of champagne personally paid for within the cost of ticket I found that most visitors_br/_ were either content to take selfies or wander round exchanging chatter stopping here and there to gaze down on the city_br/_ bathed in glorious sunshine. Of course the tourist were gob smacked holding up their tablets recording their rise to Heaven!_br/_ Well almost as your rise from Mother Earth stops at level 77. Young children......too young to appreciate what parents were_br/_ trying hard to describe played on with their run away and hide games. It must be stated that staff were very good and especially_br/_ the security people stationed at various corners of level 77._br/_ Without the sunshine I personally would not even visit the Shard......with London's buildings appearing dull and grey sunshine has_br/_ to be there so one can have a good view and identify the various land marks openly promoted. _br/_ For what is available the price of entry is expensive........O.K. you can stay as long as you wish but then having been refreshed by_br/_ the natural air of level 77 and consumed fruit juice instead of champagne......my visit had come to a close._br/_ My Shard visit was made over 2 Saturdays so that I could experience early morning and late afternoon.......Early morning was a_br/_ better time to be there........for the afternoon one hopes for a good sunset. My visit had sunset which made all the hanging around_br/_ even more painful and disappointing........But then with an Icon like the Shard visitors will continue to arrive!

Before leaving London we booked this tour on the Shard. The building is ordinary compared to the buildings in Chicago but the view from the top of the Shard is amazing. Highly recommended.

Worth it. The normal line was not very long when we went but it was freezing cold and you should get skip-the-line if you go. Important: the voucher says you can bring an e-voucher but I had to print out my voucher at the Shard to get entry.

Booked this in advance as part of a surprise week end trip for my wife significant birthday. We were lucky with the weather however the organisation and delivery by the very professional staff along with overall wow factor of the experience of the views made is memorable in many ways. If your making plans to visit the capital add this to your itinerary it adds a lot.

November in London - you can expect rain and clouds. I arrived shortly after the opening time and was told the percentage of view available due to the weather. The men at the ticket desk looked on line to check the weather for me and said that I might want to return around 2 when it should be a bit clearer. I returned to the area around 1:00 - it was raining. I had lunch in the Chinese restaurant 1/2 way up the shard, I can't recall the name right now. As I was finishing, the rain stopped and a bit of sun appeared! I went back down to The View entrance and went straight up - thank goodness for the off-season and no crowds. Bright and sunny with the clouds clearing. Beautiful London in 360 degrees. Well worth the trip! I would have gone regardless of the weather since it was the only day I could work it into my itinerary. Go!!!

We went at night and it was great to see all of the colors of the lights around London. Gives you a good perspective of where things are located. Might have been better to see that during daytime. Booze was pricey. Would still recommend it. Barbara Fee
