Ok, I could see that this tour had 5 stars from everyone, and maybe it is, they were just lucky not to be with the cocky CEO as their pilot. It's too much of a story to tell, but basically, considering how much of the traveling I do and how much I use Viator, I would тещ recommend this unless you know EXACTLY who is going to be taking you up in the air in a helicopter. I have done LOTS of helicopter rides around the world and this was the WORST one. The company is called Celebrity Helicopters, look them up, with a pretentious head of the company who first, thinks that he is SO COOL that this is really the highlight of the miserable 20 minutes ride. Then he can't stop bragging about his Instagram followers and how many followers his friends have. All this during the ride! Together with the disgusting and obscene RAP music. At the very least he could have asked ALL passengers if they would not mind. Now to the business I guess.... Basically, no business! My gratitude goes only to the amazing lady who was in charge of my pick up from Hollywood and back, and to the people with whom I spoke on the phone. They all confirmed that I would get the front seat because I am a professional photographer not an Instagram psycho and then, after I arrived, a second later because of the traffic not my fault or the driver's!, the CEO says 'oh she came first' so she sits with me because she likes ma photos! Huh? Incompetence, arrogance and stupidity at its worst. They just had phones with them, while I had my Canon camera and of course I got the worst ever photos of the Griffith observatory and many other places which are stated here, he didn't even go there. He was too busy with his phone and his stupid followers. This is the only Viator trip I have ever ordered that happened to be a disaster. Basically, be careful what you book. And also what you want to get...make sure that you are getting the right company. Not this. He doesn't even know that his employees think of him the same what I do.

We phoned before hand to arrange the time with the supplier and they couldn't understand English very well and put the phone down on me twice. We turned up at the agreed location and the helicopter and pilot were not there so we were sent to a different location. We waited half an hour for the pilot to turn up and then he couldn't find the keys for the helicopter! 20 minutes later we did actually go up in the helicopter but because of the incompetence it took the shine off the trip.

It was not at all what was promised or advertised. It was maybe 15 mins total and they didn't even fly close to the Hollywood sign for us, but they did for another group, even though we asked. It was like being in a speeding vehicle with no time to really see any Hollywood sites. The only great part was being in a helicopter for the first time.

I am not happy with the Hollywood strip helicopter tour. When I got to Los Angeles I phoned them to verify my trip. They told me that they would pick me up at my hotel at 9am on Thursday 24 November for a 10am flight._br/_
On November 23rd they phoned me on my UK phone and US phone and hotel to tell me that they had no Pilots to take me on my tour. They told me they could take me on the tour on Friday 25 November but I could not do this date as I have another trip planned for this day and could not take the tour on this day._br/_
They told me that this was the only day that i could take the tour. I told them that i had booked the tour months ago and they should have known this was a holiday in the US. _br/_
In the end i phoned Viator and they manage to get them to take me on the tour on November 23rd. _br/_
When the car came to the hotel it was not what they said it would be. It was a small car. On the web page it said that I would be picked up by a luxury PT Cruiser complete with a stocked minibar, snacks and other limousine accoutrements. This was not the case. Also as for (The tour includes a unique souvenir T-shirt and framed photograph to remind you of your scenic flight over Hollywood.) I did not get this and will be phoning them up to find out where it is as i have paid for this which was not cheap._br/_
I would not recommend this tour to anyone I know.

Extremely poor customer service: Great tour,great pilot,great chauffeur. Didn't get included photo as no film in camera!?? Contacted Viator and the Helicopter Company though twice ignored. A simple response would have avoided such a negative review.

I'm so glad we did this tour it was wonderful. We opted for the mini limo and it was great that they picked us up at our hotel in Beverly Hills. The driver was really nice and friendly, and a safe driver which is always a plus! Our helicopter tour was right on time which was great, it was supposed to be 35 mintutes flight but was probably about 28 minutes flying time. The Captin (I believe Mike??) was great, very informative. Saw alll of the wonderful LA sites and star homes. I definetely recommend this company and when I'm in LA again I would definetely do another tour with them!

I have been on other helicopter tours but this helicopter tour of the Hollywood Strip is my absolute favourite! I could write a very long article on how wonderful this helicopter tour was for us but I will try to keep it short:
The Limo Service:
We chose the tour option with the limo service (we were told that it was a bit of a drive and passes through a rough neighborhood). This advice is correct! Our meeting point to get picked up was in front of the Kodak theater. The drive was about 30 minutes (a bit of traffic). There was a minibar in the 'Cruiser' which we did not use but was there if we needed anything.
The Helicopter Tour:
The helicopter was very small but - I do not mean this in a bad way at all - if anything , it was great! Because it was so small it felt more personalized. The windows were huge giving us the most amazing unobstructed views. We flew over celebrity homes (or should I say palaces!) including those belonging to Aaron Spelling, David Beckham, Tom Cruise, and Johnny Depp. We also flew over the beach and to make it perfect - we saw two dolphins jump out of the water! And of course, we flew so close to the Hollywood sign that we had to take the pictures in multiple shots! We passed numerous LA / Hollywood landmarks as well including the Disney Concert Hall.
It was one of my favorite and memorable moments during my visit. I will be definitely recommending this to others and would not even mind doing it again (if the opportunity arises).
This is a highly recommended helicopter tour to do in LA!

It was the most amazing experience. The pilot and entire staff made it special. The tour guide was very knowledageable on the entire L.A. area and celebrity homes. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is thinking of going to L.A. on holidays or for any reason.
