This is the 5th food tour I have been on, The guide was a bit “rehearsed” which is why I gave the tour 4 stars. Great food and lots of awesome info about the island. I would have changed the order of the tasting as as eating Carmel apples and taffy after the first course seamed odd, Put dessert at the end of the tour after the savory bites

Our tour guide, Paul, having grown up on Catalina, was superb in knowledge of the island, both history and current trends. Meh, none of the food was mind blowing. The best was the coconut margarita at the end. The tour guide enjoys what she does, but in some of the one on one conversations I thought she boardered on questionable with her views and could've kept her thoughts to herself. If you are a first timer to Catalina and looking for a way to get oriented, or a solo traveler looking to kill time, then I would recommend this tour.

This was a great experience. Paula, our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. You get a brief history of Avalon and very interesting information regarding it's origins. My wife and I enjoyed the whole thing. The food was very good and gave us insight where to eat while we stayed there.

We visit Catalina Island once a year but have never done a food tour. After this experience I wish we had done it sooner. We had the best time! Our group was amazing and the Food Tour Guide - can I just tell you about her? Her name is Lili and she was the absolute best. She made that food tour what it was. Lili was our guide for the day and she was wonderful. We made us feel welcome, educated us on the many stories about the island and the food was wonderful. I brought my 80-year-old mom who had no issues with the small amount of walking. Had a great time!

The tour started off horrible because of some mix up about our confirmed reservation. They didn't have us on the schedule therefore we spent the first 30 minutes waiting to see what was going to happen. After they paired us up with another group everything was fine. Our tour guide Lili was great.

Our guide, Lili, was amazing, not only did we enjoy delicious food, but we also gained more historical knowledge of Catalina, than we could ever have learned on our own, in such a short time. We just wish we had more time after the tour, to explore on our own, before we had to board the boat.
