A very pleasant day trip to San Diego in a comfortable vehicle. Jacob was a superb guide and driver. San Diego is a lovely city so well worth the few hours on the freeway to get there and back. The itinerary covers a few of the city's key sights in the time available so met my expectations of what's reasonable in a day trip.

out of our 3 tours in Los Angeles, this was the most expensive and the worst of the tours. We were three elderly guests, the tour guide told us that he did not make a lot of money and that he would appreciate a tip but that we were not to tell anyone. Then he took us to a navel ship but he had not arranged for parking and just dropped us off in front of the place to go see it. However, since the guide was not with us, we were not allowed in. We lost over an hour just walking around trying to find our guide to pick us up. Lastly, he kept rushing us through the remainder of the things he supposedly wanted us to see and he would add that if we really wanted to see it, we could do it on our own time!! I would NOT recommend this tour AT ALL. Waste of money

The worst tour I have ever been on. It was a bilingual tour with Hebrew as the language. Could not tell when Hebrew stopped and English began. The entire tour was EXTREMELY worried about the TRAFFIC and driving navigation thru it. Used a NY tour before with the same traffic and was not a problem yuk

The title of the tour is deceiving as you see very little of San Diego, and only visit a few stops along the way from Los Angeles. The time spent at The Midway Navy Ship took about 1/2 the duration of the actual tour, and unless you're a U.S. Navy fan, it's almost a complete waste of time. The island tour and hotel was nice, but seeing an old wooden elegant hotel, is ok, but nothing special unless you check in there and hang out for a few days. Old Town San Diego is nothing but a fake old town, and resembles a movie set. You only see San Diego city as a quick drive through and the tour guide points to a few neighbourhoods and tells you a bit about them. Our driver: Richard Salem was a maniac driver and we actually thought we'd be killed as his driving skills were awful !! Don't waste your money on this overly expensive waste of time.

My San Diego trip was great. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and pointed out lots of extras. The only disappointment of the tour was 'San Diego Old Town'. It's very much a 'tourist trap' and I think, with all there is to see in San Diego, you could substitute a visit to somewhere else of interest rather than the old town. This is my reason for giving 4 stars rather than 5. I would recommend the tour to anyone wanting to see San Diego highlights.

Although this was a really good trip and our two tour guides were excellent, it was spoiled by the bus driver, Jakob, who did not know the route to San Diego so the tour guide, Ingrid, had to sit next to him explaining directions. He complained a lot, blamed her if he took a wrong turn and also said some inappropriate things to her. This was a small bus with 9 passengers and I could hear everything. Also, which was nobody's fault, the traffic coming home was really bad and took hours longer than the estimated time. However, the actual tour was well worth it.

I would give this trip 10 stars if I could,mi honestly could not praise it enough. Richard our guide was wonderful. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgable. We were picked up 6.30am and returned at 7.30pm. We stopped off at lovely places and had plenty of time to look around, Richard was on hand to answer any questions and knew more about the area than the locals. There was only 6 of us on the tour so it was very intimate. My favourite part was old town San Diego, very interesting and was took some amazing photos._br/_
I do not have one bad thing to say about this trip, it inspired me to book San Diego as my next holiday.
