The ship has seen better days, and many areas are looking worse for wear.

Our visit to the Queen Mary was amazing. We opted for the Diana exhibition and was astounded at how much there was to see. It was so well put together and so informative. Well done. The ship itself was awesome. It was quite quiet when we visited which was a bonus really enabling us to get some nice photos. The free shuttle bus was an added bonus and it was easy to get the Long Beach using the Metro.

The tour was ok not the best as the boat is under removations so there were areas we could not go. Not at all value for the price

The ship is quite a throwback in time. We didn't give it 5 stars only because we could not do the audio tour or the submarine, both were under construction. We stayed two nights, the first night was quiet and we slept well. Second night had noisy kids next door. Unfortunately there wasn't anything we could do about that._br/_ Food was tasty but expensive. Loved the happy hour in the observation lounge. Wanted food but the kitchen was closed the first day. After other guests complained it was opened on the second day but we already had dinner plans and didn't try the food there._br/_ Good time, enjoyed the haunted tour. I recommend trying the Queen Mary, it was fun.

Fantastic experience to have been abord such an icon. There were lots to see, however, as the ship also doubles up as a Hotel there were many areas that were not accessable. Could have spent a lot more time in the engine room.

We purchased a first class passport for our tour of the Queen Mary. This enabled us to do our own walking tour of the ship, plus a guided behind the scenes tour. It also included 2 movies in the theater, but we did not have time to do this. The guided tour was interesting, with a lot of informative facts about the history of the Queen Mary. The ship was beautiful, with it's art deco design and old world ambience. We spent 4 hours touring the Queen Mary - there is a lot to see. A very worthwhile activity while visiting Long Beach.

Excellent tour. Must do when in LA. Guide made the historical tour interesting and fun and the true life story videos were excellent.

Thoroughly enjoyed our day. We bought the Grand Passport and used all the options we had except the audio tour which just didn't work into our day. There is a lot to see so a full day is best. Haunted encounters brought us below where you would not have access to unless you have this tour. Found it not that safe in places so you must be careful

Awesome for history buffs. We had the Grand Passport and got to see parts of the ship you will not see with a regular pass. The lower decks are not all that safe so you need to be careful. We spent the entire day here. Not sure how authentic some of the gowns were in Princess Diana Exhibit but they did give a good idea of what they might be like.

The Queen Mary tour in itself was wonderful. We booked this particular tour because it also offered the tour of the Russian Submarine. However, when we arrived, we were informed the submarine was closed due to restoration, which has been going on for the past year. The website needs to be updated, asap!

I love the Queen Mary! I took the haunted tour and thoroughly enjoyed it! After the tour I enjoyed strolling along the decks of this beautiful ocean liner! I then had a lovely dinner at one of the wonderful restaurants on board! It truly was a wonderful experience!

Love this, on one of the tours we did was the ghost tour although I did not believe that there was any ghost on the ship I did find the swimming pool area spooky. We did the history of the ship tour which I we found very informative. I also liked the Diana tour of all her dresses.

It was lovely to see this really old ship and all its grandeur. Went on the Diana tour and saw the beautiful gowns she wore. Did the ghost tour although I did not believe the story's it was interesting to see more of the ship. We also did a ship tour which was very interesting to here it's history.

This is a grand old vessel with wonderful history and we appreciated the audio tour at our own pace. Also spent more time than expected at the Diana exhibit._br/_ Found getting from our accommodation in Hollywood by train and bus a bit challenging due to lack of signage at the train station, Long Beach.

I have the greatest time in The Queen Mary. I wanted to feel the past of the Queen, all the soldiers eating, running on the bridge and the whole ship full of them. Fighting for our freedom which I really thank them all the time for their services._br/_ This is a true open eye to the past, and to see it still living on the present, future we don't know but I hope it will continue serving and giving a good memories to people that come to see it._br/_ Thank you again._br/_ The best is James, he deserves 10 points

Our guide was amazing on the haunted tour. She was so knowledgeable about the ships history and really had a passion for the Queen Mary. There were so many interesting things that happened aboard the ship, it’s worth it to take the guided tour! Don’t miss out!

The Queen Mary is spectacular! Our haunted guided tour of the ship was the best part. I learned so much more about the ships history and got access to much more on the tour than the regular audio portion. I would definitely recommend the upgrade!

the tour guides were wanna be actors and really were obnoxious. they went way overboard with the acting in my opinion. didnt find the ship terribly inspiring. the submarine was creepy and was claustrophobic. sorry to be so negative but that is what i thought.

We didn't find the 'museum' until the very end of our tour as it is tucked away at the end of the ship, quite separate from the rest of the ship. It would have been nice to have done this first so our children could get an idea of its history and what is was like before seeing the ships as it is today.

Highly e njoyable trip but we did not get off to a good start. We made our way by train to Long Beach but once we were there we had no idea (and very little help) to actually get to the Queen Mary. We wasted most of the morning trying to get there!_br/_ World War 2 tour was excellent - informative and knowledgeable guide. _br/_ 'Ghost tour' was a bit silly but good from the point of view of being able to see more of the ship (the swimming pool, engine rooms etc).

The administration at this venue was shocking. We went to collect the headsets only to find that the person wasn't there and had gone missing. We were on a tight schedule which isn't advised if you're wanting to make the most of this trip.

Very interesting. I knew a veteran who had crossed over to Europe during WWII on the Queen Mary. After touring the ship myself, I was better able to understand what the veteran had experienced.

The ticketing process was very confusing as you had to wait in line at the Queen Mary instead of being able to go right in. The submarine that I included in the tour was listing and taking on water so we could not visit that at all. Other information about the various parts of the tour were difficult to obtain and there were no instructions to direct us to certain tours, etc. I was very disappointed in purchasing the tours ahead of time as a lot of the items were not possible to do and so it was a waste of money. Very disorganized and disappointing.
