We were really excited about the luau at the Sheraton and understood from the website that is started at 6:30 doors open at 5:30. We _br/_ arrived in the event area by 6:10 and the place was full and people have finished eating and the entertainment was about to start. Trying to eat and watch the show. People at our table had booked online that day and said the website had said the time we said but they had checked with the hotel and they said they could go in at 4:45. The event ended at 7:15 and we were left very disappointed especially after the amount we had paid. We just hope that the website event time would match the actual time or make it more clear._br/_ Ingrid

Good, but not great, expectations were high and not met. Food was meh I don't believe that they actually served the roast pig that was unearthed - the pork we had was very cold, drinks were good, entertainment was ok - nothing earth shattering. The ceremony unearthing the pig was interested and well done. I've seen better fire dancers in the Caribbean included in resort nightly entertainment. Dancers were ok. Paid for preferred seating and ended up behind a lighting fixture off to the side of the stage. Staff who were working were very nice and friendly, complementary flower lei was nice, but all in all, not worth the cost - over and done in 2 hours.

I cant say enough about this amazing experience. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a lei and a mai tai. The buffet meal was traditional and very yummm. We watched them unearth the pig that was cut up and eaten. The magical dancers were awesome. I would highly recommend this tour

The only reason the Luau gets two stars is for the entertainment show which was good. The food on the other hand left a lot to be desired. On the way in, drinks were served both alcoholic and non alcoholic. I took one of the Coconut rums. I drank it and almost immediately got sick to my stomach. It wasn't kept cold as it should have been as it was a hot day. The food was not cooked to my liking and some of it was even cold when it should have been at least warm. I would advise stay away from this particular show.

This was a great luau experience, but in a very large group. Even though the reservation says preferred seating, it means nothing. We got there early and the crowd was already large so we were seated towards the middle back. The people who had done this before knew where to go stand to see the removal of the bbq pig, but since we did not we could see nothing. The food was pretty good, but the show was awesome. Great dancers, both male and female and good Hawaiian history story. Loved that part!! Since you are seated with others it is out of the control of the producers. Our table mates turned out to be stuck up rich people, but that can't be held against the Luau! Overall we loved the experience and want to bring back our whole famiky.

This was an amazing show, and and the food was fantastic. We have a whole group of picky eaters and no one likes the same thing, but everyone filled and emptied their plates multiple times. The dancers had my electronically addicted kids mesmerized. If you go to Maui, don't miss this one.

We paid extra for premium seating but the check-in folks missed it on our tickets when we checked in and seated us toward the back, facing away from the stage. After double-checking with the staff twice the first person we spoke to basically said there was nothing they could do, it became clear the we were not seated in the correct area and the second person we spoke to had to squish us into a table by adding an extra chair which made everyone at the table a little tight. We were still seated with our backs facing the stage but ultimately we turned our chairs around and had front row seats. Resolving the seating issue took a lot of time and my husband and I were aggravated by the time we were finally given our correct seats. Much of the luau time is taken up with eating nobody performs during that time. I'd say the actual performance time is about an hour. Our kids 4 and 9 really enjoyed the luau, but for the cost, the quality of the food, and the seating issue, my husband and I didn't feel like it was something we'd do again.

The show was very nice and the food was better than expected. The mixed drinks were awful. Had a Mai Tai and a Pina Colada. I could drink the Pina Colada it was so bad. There were 3 full Pina Colada's left on the table. The mixer that was used was terrible.

Food and entertainment were both very good. We paid the extra 20 for premium seats and got a table right up front. We also were one of the first tables selected to go through the buffet line. Not sure if that would be worth 20 per person for everyone, but it was just me and my wife so I thought I'd splurge a little. This was my wife's first Luau and she loved it. I've previously only been to one, the Feast at Lele, and in comparison I would have to say the Feast at Lele is definitely better. However, that does not mean that I wouldn't recommend this one. I definitely recommend it, especially if you weren't able to book Feast at Lele or Old Lahaina Luau early enough to get reservations. This one doesn't fill up as fast, and sometimes you can even walk up to the ticket table and buy one on the night of the Luau.

We enjoyed the luau and we were glad we got the preferred seating. It provided an excellent view of the show. The food was very good, and there was a good variety of options to try. We enjoyed the show, it seemed like a very typical island dance review, not that really differentiated it from the others. . The dancing was well done, and the fire dance was amazing.

Our reservation was mixed up. You book us on the wrong day at the Luau. The information you sent us was correct but the information you sent to the Luau was incorrect . We did not get preferential seating at the Luau due to you send the wrong information. So we paid for the seating. Dissapointed.
