The sights were amazing. I would recommend seeing the sunset but going on a tour is not worth the money. I would suggest you drive up the mountain yourself. Where as it only cost 15 dollars to get into the park and gas money. You will save a lot of money by driving yourself.

Trip up an down the mountain took lots of time. I would have enjoyed getting to the top a little earlier to explore a little more before the sunset. The sunset was amazing. No complaints with that.

The trip to the top of Mt Haleakala at sunset was awesome. The top of Mt Haleakala was above the clouds which made sun set spectacular. Do not forget to take warm clothes as it is VERY cold at sunset.

Trip up the mountain and back down was long, but worth it for the view and the sunset. Need to bring something warm to wear as the temperature was quite chilly. Tour guide was knowledgable, but not too chatty as some of the others were.
