Molokini weather was stormy, and we were not advised until everyone was already checked in and started sailing. Apparently they were waiting for weather to change and was in touch with other operators in the area. We were redirected to an alternate area and there wasn't much to see. However, the staff was great, and they did offer more whale watching opportunities than the actual whale watching tour we took the day prior. It was just a real bummer we didn't get to experience Molokini.

Great trip out to the island, the crew was very knowledgeable and friendly. This was my first time snorkeling and they gave great instructions. Crew members were out among us to ensure safety and had wet suits to rent 5 that kept,us comfortable. Amazing views of the reef and colorful fish! Good buffet on the way back. Absolutely wanting to do this tour again when Im back in Maui!

This tour was great! The experience itself was wonderful- seeing whales and turtles on the way out to Molokoni was an added benefit. The staff on the Four Winds II was incredible; super friendly, knowledgeable and fun! I would highly recommend this tour!

Tbe snorkrling trip was great. Captain and crew were knowledgeable, helpful and it was easy to see they enjoyed their jobs._br/_ I was a little concerned about snorkeling as I am not a great swimmer but the staff were right there to help. The food was good and there was plenty to eat and drink. Unfortunately the wind kicked up and waters got rough so we left a little early, on the flipside we saw many whales...it was breathtaking! Thank you crew for a fabulous time I definitely recommend the four winds for snorkeling, snubs and whale watching

A fabulous, sunny day aboard the Four Winds. Slowed to watch whales on the way out to Molokini. Enjoyed a perfect day of snorkeling, saw tons of fish in this healthy coral reef. We used the provided snorkeling equipment, and opted to rent a wet suit for an additional 5. Worth the extra cost on a cool day in February. The staff was superb. Very friendly and welcoming. The captain was also great, and quite an expert on humpback whale behavior. Enjoyed a continental breakfast and coffee on the way out, then a pretty decent lunch on our way back. Plenty of food with choices of grilled chicken, pulled pork and hot dogs. Beer and wine available as well as soft drinks and water included in price of trip. We stopped for about 40 minutes on our way back to watch a pod of humpbacks. Got to see some extraordinary behavior, including several breaches. It was a blast, made even better by the extremely pleasant staff and great weather. Snuba was avqilqble for an extra cost, and they tried to sell photos of the trip, although it wasnt a hard sell. All in all a fantastic day!

Review by:   Calixto,    February 2018 Review: 2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better
The wind was brisk, and the captain opted not to go to Molokini, but instead to anchor close to the west shore of Maui for snorkeling We were motored throughout and no effort was made to sail on this sail and snorkel adventure. Our group included several families with young children as well as non-swimmers. The crew was courteous, attentive and helpful to all, but ancillary equipment floats, photography, wetsuits were marketed for extra pay. The boat was spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was mediocre. Breakfast and lunch were offered in brochure. We had a limited continental breakfast, and a limited grill chicken, hotvdogs was served as lunch at 10:30 AM. Wine only chardonnay and beer were made available after the swim.

Great fun snorkeling lunch was great. Although a catamaran -- sails were not deployed due to taking too much time to get destination vs motoring. Description of tour should clarify that for those that love sailing

Awesome experience! The entire staff was fun and friendly. Nice clean spacious boat. Simple breakfast and an excellent bbq lunch. Plenty of time at the crater to swim and snorkle, but not too much. The photographer took some really cool underwater photos! Great trip overall.. I would definitely recommend!

Worth the trip - only issue is the boat gets very crowded and little room to move around or even find a place to sit - staff are very good and make sure you are looked after

The boat trip was fun and everyone was really nice. The water was really rough when we got there, definitely not for a weak swimmer. Not a huge variety of fish either.

Was a lovely day out. Water was clear but a bit disappointing in the colors of the reefs/fish life. Would recommend hiring the wet suit tops as water quite cool... Lunch was basic but nice.

The snorkel was great at Molokini and the people working on the boat did an excellent job at getting us prepared and feeding us great food and drinks. This is well worth the expense charge for the tour. _br/_ P.S. Take Gravol before you leave if you are subject to sea sickness.

The boat and crew were good, they tried to make sure that we saw whales, and got a good experience on the water. The food was disappointing. Limited in quality and quantity. Drinks are also limited to beer and wine (Chardonnay only). We and #39;ve been on other snorkeling trips and this wasn and #39;t the best.

This was our first excursion in Maui. Snorkeling was cool and the staff on the boat were all very accommodating. They have wet suits as well as underwater cameras for rent. There is also snuba available. Breakfast is standard muffins and juice. BBQ lunch was pretty tasty as well. We were able to see whales as well as turtles on the trip as well. This is in decent snorkel spot although the variety of fish was a bit limited. Ended up being the only snorkeling we were able to do due to weather so all in all gladness we went!

This was easily the highlight of our trip. We both opted to pay the extra fee to due Snuba, which turned out to be the best choice. Great staff, very helpful, and the food that was provided was surprisingly good. Highly, highly recommend this!

From the minutes we stepped on the boat, we had a good time. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It wasn't anything fancy, but we thoroughly enjoyed every minute! My family says it was the best part of our trip! The photographer caught my all time favorite picture of my family, ever!

This was awesome. They gave us the option to upgrade to snuba, which I highly recommend. You are able to get down further and closer to the sealife. There is so much to see under the water at Molokini. It's absolutely beautiful.

4.5_br/_ Outstanding boat and crew, food was good, equipment on board very helpful. Would have been useful to include details about exactly where slip 80 was and parking, perhaps a map to help navigate the operational aspects of getting on board.

It was a REALLY windy day, many people got seasick, the snorkeling was good, the food was decent. But it just wasn't as much fun as I've had on other boat tours. The boat was kind of small for how many people, it didn't smell great, and overall it just felt overly hyped up from the description. Wasn't worth the price.

The crew is great. Easy to reach the dock for boarding, and quick check-in and boarding. The sail out to Molokini and the snorkel was so much fun. Multiple choices of equipment for safety and convenience. Underwater cameras are available to rent and pay for snuba can be added on-board. The plus is the included continental breakfast and the yummy lunch .

This was a great snorkel trip. The captain of the ship was fantastic and the diving instructed was fantastic. Only one regret is that the camera guy did not get any pictures of us snuba diving. I never heard the announcement made about the pictures because I think it was done while we were receiving our snuba instructions on the deck. When I come back to Maui I will book this tour again.

Captain and crew were exceptional! Captain came out and greeted each of us as we were waiting to check in, and it just got better from there We had a good amount of time to snorkel, enough time to go back out for a second time after we ate lunch. Many of the other boats came after us, and left before us. Captain was quite entertaining. Thoroughly enjoyed our time

The crew was fantastic! The captain was extremely friendly and entertaining. Unfortunately, we didn't actually get to visit Molokini due to mother nature, but I'm glad the captain recognized this and called the audible so our snorkeling experience was still positive. Food was great grill food, plenty of drinks, clean equipment, and not too crowded. My wife and I would absolutely do this again.
