My only problem was with our reservation. I reserved a table for 4. When we arrived we were informed we had a reservation for 3. After much time waiting for Old Lahaina to review my confirmation which was for 4 at a table and find us a table we ended up with floor seating. My husband has a bad hip and this was uncomfortable for him and humiliating to get up and down. Old Lahaina did their best to find us extra pillows, we were served the buffet first but due to the delay in seating we missed appetizers, the unburying of the pig, etc. Viator blamed Old Lahaina and Old Lahaina blames Viator -- I know it wasn't our fault. I am happy we were on time. The Show is excellent and the food fabulous. I would recommend.

We got rained out but what we saw looked great. I did call to see if it was going to happen because of the rain and forecast but they told me to come so we did. Didn't get a chance to enjoy any of the food but enjoyed what we were able to experience. Offered a full retund.

A great place to learn about the origin of the Hawaiian people and their culture. Well organized from parking to the end of the program. Good opportunity to meet people from around the globe. Great food with adequate choices for vegetarians and a great cultural program with good introduction. Very friendly and caring staff. The program is all outside and hence the co-operation of the weather man is essential.

This was an excellent Luau with excellent food and excellent dance. The servers were spectacular and the hula dancing was the best I have ever seen. I would highly recommend this Luau as the one to see here in Maui.

This was a great night. The dancers were amazing , the food great. We bought a carving from one of the crafters there, didn't bring a lot of cash with us and they said no problem we can come to your hotel and pick it up. So we took the piece with us . Had a wonderful time. The entertainment was wonderful, and the drinks kept coming. The food was ok, the roasted pig was excellent. A very attentive server. A bit of a madhouse getting out. We had to get back to the ship and there just wasn’t enough cabs to go around.

Great selection of food and cocktails included. The show was both entertaining and informative. Would recommend this luau to other visitors. The beach sunset added to the atmosphere. Staff are around for photos and there are hula classes, ukelele classes and the ceremony as they take the pig out of the ground.

Everything was wonderful ! The food, server, entertainment, all what seemed like an authentic luau should be. One thing...how do those hula dancers keep those coconuts from falling off ? I'm not a dirty old man, just an older lady with an inquiring mind. Anyway, they looked great . Mahala !

Food, show and service was excellent. Loved the welcome leis and mai tai drinks. The pre-dinner and show activities were entertaining. But the mat seating can be hard on your legs and back for a dinner and show with no intermission. Would’ve appreciated an intermission for bathroom break or a stretch.

It was a great show telling the history of Hawaii and culture. I made this reservation about 6 months in advance so I had really good table seating, but it looked like all the seating was stair stepped for good viewing. Food and drinks were also good.

Awesome luau! We really enjoyed it. Watched the unearthing of the pig that was served for dinner. Neat! The food was fantastic and we were surprised at the open bar. Our seats were great as we were seated with a young couple from Norway that was there on their honeymoon. Our server was attentive and the show was great. Would highly recommend it!

When we arrived about 6 pm parking was close and easy. We went to the Mall a block away to check out the shops and returned after an hour to get in the short line forming to enter. Drinks very tasty and leis were offered to us and we were shown to our table. A really great live band was playing great island music as we strolled the beautiful grounds and enjoyed the pleasant breeze coming off the ocean before dinner. The servers were so courteous when we returned and invited us to the fabulous buffet when the time came._br/_ The show after dinner was marvelous, energizing and totally entertaining. We were spellbound for almost 2 hours with the beauty of the Hawaiian legends and stories told with music and dance !! We got to meet some of the dancers and musicians who were very charming and friendly to us. We had that happy and fuzzy feeling and heartily encourage everyone to experience this Luau. It was the highlight of our week in Maui !! We came from Texas and loved the Maui folks.

The Old Lahaina Luau was so much fun. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. They could not have done any more to make our first luau so perfect. We were welcomed with leis and drinks, then taken to our seats. Then we were able to roam around the area to see demonstrations from the Hawaiian culture. The dancers were so talented and lovely. Luau is great - fun experience. People sitting with us booked directly at the same price. No benefit to booking through Viator, or any other tour company. Transportation CAN'T be arranged thru them we were told it could which is why we booked with them so if you're not staying right there you'll need to drive on your own anyway.

The food was ok but the seasonings very different on the pork and variety of buffet so-so the usual faire. There is no transportation provided so taking a taxi to and from quite expensive and we were only 4.8 miles away. The entertainment was interesting. It would have been nice for them to engage the audience in a hula.

The Old Lahaina Luau was a delightful experience. Initially I thought the price was a little steep, but we soon discovered that it was well worth it. A Hawaiian couple playing ukuleles at the entrance set the tone for what was to come. We were greeted just inside the entrance by our server who handed us a welcoming mai tai alcoholic drink and then escorted us to our table. Prior to dinner a buffet setup there was ample time to stroll around the grounds and enjoy the various craft displays.

We have been to numerous Luau's and this is our favorite. The location is easy to find, clean and the show is wonderful! Food is okay but typical for a Luau. You don't pay for the food so don't expect a lot, you pay for the performance.
