Spend your time in port in Monaco seeing the best of the French Riviera in a day. On this private shore excursion, you’ll be picked up from the Monaco port and taken to see some of the best sights of the Côte d'Azur – Monte Carlo, Eze and Nice.
Your first stop is the magnificent Old Town in Monaco, the world’s most glamorous country. You’ll have some free time here to see the royal palace (open June to October) and explore.
You will then continue on to Monaco’s most famous resort area, Monte Carlo, where you’ll do a lap on the Formula One Grand Prix circuit. You’ll also have free time at Casino Square to amuse yourself with luxury shopping, stunning gardens, spectacular yachts and chic casinos. Or simply relax in a bar and admire the amazing cars parked at Monte Carlo Casino.
Your next stop is the unforgettable medieval village of Eze, with boutiques carved in the rock. The city is perched on a hill, with artisan shops and breathtaking views. You’ll enjoy a guided tour of a perfumery.
Finally, you will drive along the spectacular Middle Corniche road and admire the bay of Villefranche as you make your way to Nice. Immerse yourself in Nice's history on Place Garibaldi in the Old Town, and visit the colorful flower market in Cours Saleya.
My three daughters and myself booked a tour for the above excursion in November 2017 and it couldn't have been any nicer. Our guide Nadia sp was prompt, polite, informative and he had a wonderful personality plus the van was very clean. We felt completely safe and I would book Viator again and would recommend it to anyone.

This tour was fantastic. I must say our tour guide, Camile, was exceptional. One of the best I ever experienced. Having a private tour was a great decision on our part. We had purchased tickets for the Monte Carlo royal palace before we sailed. Camile gave us all the time we needed to explore the towns. She was very informative and very nice.

Andreas was a lovely guide. He listened to my family's wishes of what to see and delivered exactly what we wanted. We visited the Farmer's market in Nice, the village of Eze, and had a lovely French lunch in another quaint Medieval village before returning to our ship with our last stop at the casino in Monte Carlo for a look and nearby for some ice cream!!

Our guide, Victor, gave a great overview of Eze, Monaco and Nice, in that order. We particularly like seeing Nice from high above the city and then driving down into the city. Previously, we had seen the city only from the beach. If you want a great overview in a private car, this is the trip for you.

This was a fabulous tour. Our guide picked us up promptly at the port. We mentioned that we would prefer to see Eze and Nice first, no problem. Returning us to Monaco, where we could return to the ship, or stay in Monaco for more shopping time. Excellent tour.

Of all the private tours we arranged this was by far our least favorite. Although the sites were as advertised the guide was not helpful. Upon greeting us at the port the first thing our guide Andreas did was scold us for being 20 minutes late. We had to take a tender from the ship and this was totally out of our control. Next, he informed us that we had him until 3 pm and asked us what we wanted to do. At the end of the tour we had to beg him to return us to the ship. All of the other guides we booked for our private tours were more friendly, helpful and informed than Andreas. If this is the quality of guides we should expect from Viator we will not use this service in the future.

After confirming the arrival time and ship we were traveling on, they sent the tour guide to the wrong port. Once the tour guide arrived, the tour was very good. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this tour and guide but I would ask for everything in writing and double and triple check the pickup point since there are apparently multiple ports.

Great Tour!! Our tour guide was Robert and he was very informative and flexible with our family of six. Because we were not on a large bus of people, he was able to change directions and show us things as they came up in conversation. He had several suggestions of where we may want to eat and pointed out areas of interest for all of our family members. He truly made us feel as if he were there to serve us and show us his homeland! I'd definitely recommend this tour!

Our day in Nice, Eze and Monaco was fabulous!! Our guide was Manwell and he made our day perfect! He started out by taking us on a lap "around the track/streets of Monte Carlo" where the race takes place. Then we headed to Nice, Eze and back to Monte Carlo. He gave us lots of opportunities to stop and take pictures as well as a great deal of information on the area! I would highly recommend Manwell!!!!

Our guide, Joe, met us at the port and took us on a circuit around the Monaco Grand Prix track. After that, we drove along the beautiful coastline for a look out over Nice, then into the market in Nice, another scenic route to Eze, lunch in the old city, and an additional scenic drive looking out over Monaco.

What a day. Waiting for us when we debarked from the ship. Impressed by the knowledge of our driver/guide. We saw all the sights as promised but always had time to walk around and see things along the way. Some with our guide and some we were able to wander on our own. MARVELOUS MARVELOUS DAY !!

It was a great trip. Good coordination to make it back on time to our cruise. We coordinated with three drivers to be able to meet with other members of the family for lunch and it worked perfectly. My favorite part was being able to move around as we pleased without the restriction of being part of a time-controlled group._br/_
