Your Jamaican nature adventure takes you over a series of decks and platforms, connected by traverses, mounted in the trees of the rainforest. Then the fun begins with your first traverse (zipline) as you soar over the Great River.

The zipling was great but be sure to bring extra mosquito repellent! The best part of this tour was our van driver. Joseph the driver from Chukka was HILARIOUS. Please ask to get him to pick you up if you can. He's got jokes and can sing/rap!

Zip Lining was excellent! A lot of climbing up uneven surfaces to get there so be prepared. Tennis or water shoes are required, no sandles. Guides were entertaining and informative, providing history and information on species of trees and vegetation. If you can find alternate transportation there and back I'd highly recommend it. We were picked up at 8:40 for a 10:30 tour and didn't get back to the resort till 3:30. First on, last off, with multiple other resort stops in between. Even a bathroom stop for a couple gentlemen who had many beers after their 1 hours tubing tour, but spent 7 hours of their day there as well. Waited nearly an hour after the tour to allow people to shop and couldn't leave until the zip lining crew gave us the ok. They wanted their shopping money. Others on bus did the tubing tour and was very disappointed. Didn't expect a 2 hour tour to waste an entire day of vacation!!!

The canopy tour was an experience that I will not forget. I can scratch it off my bucket list. That last zipline through the forest was fantastic. The employees were very professional and made me feel comfortable that they would catch me on the landing platform, no worries. The scenery was so surreal...tall trees reaching the sky with the sun shining through was unbelievable.

It was a great experience and the guides were incredibly helpful. However, newcomers to ziplining should note that the tour is a bit taller than advertised on this site. At its highest point, it is 15 stories, or 150 or so feet.

Had a great time, good little hike up to the starting point which allowed you to get a feel for the countryside. Guides were great, answered your questions, lots of joking, weather not too bad, cloudy and warm. Zips were great but they were quick rides, the joke was the more you weighed the faster the ride! Great scenery, take your go pro but practice BEFORE you use it...my bad : At the end, we ate jerk chicken at some recommended restaurants but the BEST we had was here! 10.00 for jerk chicken and fries and it was delicious...no sauces, just the seasoning and grilled...worth the trip for sure!

Tons of fun!!! My only suggestion is that the groups be a little further apart... the wait time for the next zip line was sometimes a bit long and you weren't always standing on the ground. However, the guides were great and often tried to make the waiting fun. I would caution that there is some hiking, some of it uphill, which of course gets you quite hot and sweaty at times. People with asthma might want to consider one of the other activities. I don't have asthma but a lady with us did and she found it trying at times ... otherwise I say go for it!!!

This zip lining tour was FANTASTIC!! The guiles, DeMar and Ricardo, had a great attitude the entire time and were kidding around with everyone from beginning to end. Be ready for a hike, but wear water shoes. Depending on the water levels, there are some points that you are crossing water on foot and might be up to your ankles in water. Your feet will be soaking wet. Water shoes and bug spray are the important things to remember. Great tour!! I would do it again in a second!

This ziplining tour was so much fun. The tour guides were hilarious but very competent. They did all the work of braking for us so all we had to do was zip along and have a blast. There is actually a fair bit of hiking up the hills which is a bit hard for me but I made it.

Amazing, Amazing, AMAZING! and that is coming from someone who hates heights. Personally I wish I was in a bit better shape so the hiking portion of the excursion didn't wind me so, but the tour was great. The team at Chukha was awesome...so personable, friendly and funny. They help ease you into the height of the ziplines and don't get mad when you run into them at the end of the line because you refuse to let go of your hand hold to grab the rope and brake. Please Note They have water about 2/3 the way through. Take a water bottle to stay hydrated. Also, they DO NOT provide bug spray. It is available to purchase from the shop. Also, since they are in the boondocks, take small bills with you if you plan to make any purchases because their dial-up for the credit cards is a slow as you remember dial-up to be and they don't have a lot of small bills to make change. The photos they take and sell are great! Very clean and crisp. Worth the purchase price.

This was the highlight of the trip. Truly amazing and you go on so many zip lines! I recommend since you can't bring a camera to rent, borrow, or buy a go pro camera so you can take pics. They take some pictures but it is expensive to buy. Also they don't take enough pictures.

The trip was great! They were accommodating as I forgot to call and reserve until the night before. There was a miscommunication between our front desk and the company for our initial pickup but we were able to get rescheduled for the next day with no issues. Once to the site there were amazing crew members who made the experience tons of fun! I wish there were a few more zip lines to do but it was great!

The tour was fun, BUT: Chukka (tour operator) refused to pick me up on a day I booked my tour and offered this tour on another day, so I had to re-arrange my activities. The guys that take you along all zipline traverses are doing a great job, and they are very professional. The tour is easy, and anyone can do it. _br/_
The rest was less exciting: Chukka never answered my email, when I called them it took around 15 min to find my reservation, they woudn't pick me up on a tour day, insect repellant was not included, ladies at the reception (where the canopy tour starts) were a bit unfriendly. _br/_
So the bottom line is that the tour was fun, but the total experience was poor.

I didn't realize how the tour would really work. WAY too much difficult walking and very short traverses that were kind of boring. What really irritated me was that once there they did not provide bug repellent as advertised and we had to pay $6 for it. $5 for a locker, and had to pay $28 for two pairs of "beach shoes" (since we hadn't brought any closed toe shoes with us). Wal-Mart sells them for around $2.50 a pair. Wjat a rip off. So the tour actually cost us $219. instead of $180.
