Guide Colin was very informative and kept tour moving along. Lots of walking but you see many interesting sights. Be sure to bring an empty stomach since you will be full by the end of the tour.

This trip should not be offered on Shabbos or participants should be warned that some places will be closed. Our guide was very knowledgeable but there were organizational issues. Dessert before mains? Really? And if you want to impress us with Montreal bagels, don't serve them cold and without a shmear. It is A LOT of walking and that should be in your tour description. Our guide did her best to work around the closings, but we felt that we had missed some interesting places. The tour has great potential, but it needs work.

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour with host, SJ, and gleaned New knowledge of an area, its past and current inhabitants and its incredibly rich ethnic heritage. Come wearing comfy shoes and an appetite!! Well done, SO, and Montral Jewish Museum folks!

This tour was excellent once it got going. Magdalena was our guide she's in charge of their summer fellowship programs. She was very knowledgeable and engaging. HOWEVER, I strongly recommend that you call the host company the day before or the day of to confirm your tour. Despite the fact that they had current phone and email contacts for us, when no one showed up at the appointed time and place, I called and was told the tour was cancelled. Only after I protested strongly did they somehow free up Magdelana for the tour.

Very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide Kat takes you on a journey through the hood of Montreal with plenty of noshing. The tour leaves you with an appreciation for the Jewsih influence in the city's history. Eat a light breakfast before taking the tour.

Great tour by outstanding tour guide KAT. Interesting very diverse area of Montreal and interesting Montreal history. Several different Foods to try - all good in my opinion. I didn't need dinner that evening. KAT has put together a very nice program and does a very good job of engaging tour members. Follow the advice in the tour description to bring comfortable shoes! Covers a fair amount of ground but at a reasonable pace. Highly recommended tour if the tour description appeals to you.
