Nadi, Fiji

Board our Seaspray Day Adventure for a day exploring the crystal clear waters, beautiful beaches and lagoons of the Mamanuca Islands. This 15 metre yacht offers stable and comfortable cruising to maximise your onboard comfort and enjoyment while exploring uninhabited islands, swim in crystal-clear blue lagoons and visit a local village for a Kava ceremony. Enjoy morning and afternoon tea and a delicious barbecue lunch with drinks included. It all makes for a fantastic day in paradise.

This 15m yacht offers stable and comfortable cruising to maximise your onboard comfort and enjoyment. This activity offers a maximum of 30 guests per day.

You will visit the uninhabited island of Modriki, used in the movie Castaway with Tom Hanks, and have time to explore the long stretches of white sandy beach, laze in the sun or snorkel in the lagoons. On the island of Yanuya, you'll meet the locals, be welcomed with a traditional Kava ceremony and experience every day life in a Fijian village.

There’s nothing like a day at sea to give you a big appetite. Morning and afternoon tea will be served, plus a delicious barbecue lunch, including unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks while aboard.

The yacht sails directly from Mana Island. Transfers to and from Denarau and surrounding islands on board a fast catamaran are included.

Again this trip managed to give us some respite from the bad weather and other cancelled trips. You go from Port Denaru or other island pickups along the way - fast catamaran. You then transfer to the Seaspray... quick load up of provisions and a safety brief and away you go. Crew playing guitar and dishing out drinks and snacks along the way. Two island stops, with free time and snorkelling - one being where Castaway was filmed. We had less numbers on our trip, so space on the boat was better. You can sit at the rear of the boat, with some shade, but limited stretch out and a bit clustered for us. We sat towards the front and had the opportunity to stretch out on the deck or benches - I would imagine being unable to do this would make it less comfortable. We had a great time, loads of good food, beer and wine - made easier by a great crew, less people and no rude people.

Amazing way to see several islands in one day! Everything is included and you don't have to worry about anything. Consider all of the boat transfers a sightseeing cruise! The crew on the Seaspray itself are a lot of fun and will sing to you and make sure you are well fed and fortified. When you arrive at Modriki I recommend jumping off the boat and swimming to shore!

Based on my experience a well executed package which I'd recommend to anyone ! The only caveat for future travellers I have will be the weather. I cannot imagine having the same experience if it wasn't sunny.

I think this would have been a better day for us had the boat not been so overloaded with people. The Seaspray is not that big kind of reminded me of Humphrey Bogart's African Queen, and with that many people on the boat well over 20 plus crew, it was difficult to move around without asking five other people to let you by. We loved Modriki, and lunch was pretty good as well. The seas got too rough for us to go to the village, so the crew did the kava ceremony on-board. In order for us to get back to Mana Island, the captain had to detach the tender so it wouldn't crash into the Seaspray one poor crew member had to handle the waves in the tender, and the trip back put new meaning into the term Seaspray in that we were basically soaked for about 90 minutes as the sea mist came over the boat. With calmer seas and fewer people on board, I think we would have enjoyed the trip much better.

This tour was fantastic, one the highlights of my trip to Fiji. The crew were so friendly, it was very well organized, and my friend and I enjoyed it immensely. You go on a boat headed towards the Mana Island, and during that time you are stopping outside some of the islands on the way for people to grab boats to their resorts, so we got to see lots of islands on the way. When we got to Mana we hopped our Seaspray boat, they quickly got settled, offered us welcome champagne, fruit and cookies. The time on the island Castaway was filmed on was stunning, lunch was delicious, and visiting the village and trying Kava was a great cultural stop. My personal favorite thing was singing along with the crew as they played guitar when we were headed to different islands. Loved this tour and come on beer and wine included?! Awesome Definitely a long day though, so don't plan on doing much after :

Well organised day, great crew and yummy BBQ lunch and good snorkelling, just not sure the cultural visit to the island with kava ceremony was worthwhile

We had a fabulos day out! The crew are very friendly and so helpful, the food was excellent! Plenty of refreshments too. I really enjoyed the visit to the fijian village. This was not a 'put on front' but the genuine village.

This tour had the best snorkeling of any tour that we went on. Modriki island where Castaway was filmed was the most picturesque place I have ever been. The sand beaches were white and the clear waters were homes for dozens of species of tropical fish. I only wish that we had more time on this island. We were allowed to stay for only about 45 minutes. The crew was helpful but a bit intimidating. No one went out of their way to smile, though they were still entertaining. We had to take a catamaran for about an hour to reach our sail boat, and once we got on the boat we headed for Modriki. It wasn't clear to us where we would store our things on Modriki so we left them on the boat. We really wanted to take pictures, but the crew left us on the island with no supervision. I ended up having to swim back to the boat to get our camera and then the crew was nice enough to bring me back, but it was still a bit of a headache since we didn't know what to expect ahead of time. After getting back from Modriki, the crew cooked us lunch on the boat. The food was spectacular. We had an assortment of chicken, fish, and sausage, along with some of the best fried rice I have ever eaten, some fresh fruit, bread rolls, and potato salad. After eating, we headed to another island to visit a village. We had a traditional kava ceremony, looked at shops, and best of all, saw the local school. Class was just getting out so we were able to interact with the children. They greeted us with songs and wanted to be in all of our pictures. They were so fun. After spending about an hour in the village, it was time to go back to the marina which took another hour on a Catamaran. Overall, I really enjoyed this tour. The snorkeling was excellent though short, the food was outstanding, and the village visit was the best I had been on. My only complaints are that the crew wasn't all that friendly, and the time felt cut short. I would do it again solely for the opportunity to see Modriki island.

Very disappointed. We booked a Wednesday sailing through your website but were informed at Port Denerau that the vessel now sails only Tuesdays and Thursdays and had not been sailing for some time due to maintenance! Had to accept an inferior motor cruise to South Sea Island (not the Mamanuca Islands, as desired) where we remained the whole day. South Sea Cruises had no record of our booking!Consequently cannot rate nor recommend your service.

Amazing. Beautiful Islands to see and snorkelling in crystal clear water. The crew kept us well entertained, whipping out their guitars and singing a few songs. Lunch was as fresh as you can hget it as they caught the fish while we were swimming, excellent.

Would have loved more time on the island to snorkel and swim. Also we were under the impression that we would actually be getting on the sea spray in Nadi not taking the Cat there. We also thought we would help to sail the boat and help with the sails, the boat ran by its motor the entire time.

The sailing trip was fun. The tour guide was a wealth of knowledge on the local culture. The sea as rough the day we went out but I would do it again. We met some great people. The snorkeling was great but the under tow was strong so I would suggest if you are not a strong swimmer you should wear a life jacket. I will do it again.

Fantastic trip first on the fast Cat then transferred over to the Sea Spray. We sailed than uninhibited island and enjoyed a sensational experience snorkelling with the tropical fish. An excellent lunch was then served to us back on board, sail home magical with crew singing for us.

Every aspect of the tour went well. From the moment we arrived to the Port till the end, the crew made sure we were taken care of. They were very cordial, fun, attentive and entertaining. I believe everybody should give good tips at the end. They need it to help with "after storm" ravages.

If you are short on time this is a great way to experience "a little bit of everything" that Fiji has to offer. It was an enjoyable way to spend the day!

One of the best days in my life. The cruise was wonderful, shame there was no wind but that is beyond the scope of the crew. Everyone was really friendly and the crew knew my name by the time I departed. Mondriki Island is a paradise, try and bring an waterproof camera if you can as there are so many species of fish happily swimming around as you snorkel. Even though the waves are small there is a lot of power behind them and it can be difficult to get up if you sit down in the water. The village is so wonderful to visit and the children are so adorable. The only negative I have to say is that we were rushed into the cars, coach and catamaran. Viator make the tour booking so easy

Great trip. Only 9 guests and 7 crew so VERY well looked after. Excellent food and limitless beer/wine/soft drinks. Crew entertained us well with guitar and singing. Comfortable, on time connectionsboth to and from Denarau and for the South Sea Cruises catamaran._br/_ Mondriki snorkelling was superb and really exclusive; the current was a little strong for us being weaker swimmers. The BBQ lunch was excellent. Visit to the island and the Kava ceremony were interesting. The children and islanders were delightful. Have Fiji cash to buy a few things from their stalls. Another long and tiring but successful trip with Viator. Thanks!_br/_ ps confirming your trip by fone can be inconvenient and costly without a local cell fone.

Crew were friendly. However did not warn us before snorkelling (kicked us off boat) and we ended up with 3rd DEGREE BURNS. _br/_ Plenty of food and alcohol. Boat was very rough. _br/_ Make sure you take sea sick tablets with you and plenty of sun screen apply vigorously before you leave hotel._br/_ Transfer bus back to hotel left WITHOUT us and we had to pay for a taxi back. Was not impressed. _br/_ Views of islands were nice and main guy very knowledgeable.
