Go windsurfing across the bay, or go kayaking in the lagoons. Put on some flippers and a mask and jump in the water – there are fantastic snorkeling opportunities even at low tide. If you want to go even deeper, take an introductory dive or certified dive, depending on your scuba level (additional cost – see Tour Options in "Important Info").
Hop aboard the semi-submersible boat for a ride under the waves and through the marine park -- be sure to keep a lookout for “Nemo” swimming among the coral gardens.
When you’re ready to dry off, join a volleyball game, relax with a massage, laze on the white sandy beaches or be entertained by a Meke performance of traditional dance (except Sundays). We loved this full day cruise! I would have felt super rushed if we picked the half day. We started our day with an intro scuba dive that was incredible. They make it super easy for beginners and we felt very comfortable with our guide. We went kayaking then got an opportunity to go sailing with Reef. Plenty of adult beverages and the buffet had a good variety. The music entertainment was fantastic as well.

Make sure you are aware that the beach is full of coral and hurts without footwear of some sort on! Only disappointment really as you have to run the gauntlet across the sand as its both painful and hot!

I enjoyed this tour, plus, after talking with other travelers who did other island companies, I made the right choice with this one. The company gave us plenty of time to snorkel near the island. Travel to the reef was okay, but did not have much of a display of fish and coral life... it was pretty bleached out. The glass bottom submarine was okay, lots of body odor smells. The BBQ lunch was nice and the beverages were plentiful. _br/_ Please be more descriptive about the island to include coral species that cover the beach

This is a very very small island and the beach is mostly coral, very interesting but something I didn't pick up on when I booked. Also part of the island where the chairs are is rocky and could be jagged. Again very interesting but not what I was looking for. And to be honest this place made me realize I wasn't a lay on the beach all day kind of gal. Happier that I booked the full day so I wasn't rushing activities and could enjoy the whole island, but really 3/4 of day would let you do everything. The food was so-so, service was good but people who worked there didn't seem as warm as other places. The water was mirky because of all the rain and run off so that was also a bit of a downer. Price was cheap and they picked up from the hotel with ease. Hammocks were nice and masseuses were pretty good. wouldn't do it again.

The trip is very well organised although transport from Denerau to hotel took 1.5 hrs with our hotel only 10 minutes away so would recommend investing in a taxi if your hotel is close. Snorkelling is very average and the submarine not particularly worthwhile as difficult to see out the windows. Food and entertainment was good. The island gets very full with continual new tours arriving.

Hello. I booked this tour for Friday and by chance I happened to call and lucky I did because they moved the tour to Saturday! And never contacted me. The pickup was 20min late. Lastly, the pictures shown was not what was there. The island was not beautiful at all and the snorkeling had barely any fish. Also there was mentioned motorized sports and none were offered. My expectation was not met and I'm pretty upset after altering my entire day from fir to sat. Thank you.

This tour was extremely easy, we opted to be picked up from our resort which was well worth the extra money. The island was absolutely beautiful, and we really enjoyed our day here. We were supposed to do the combo tour, but something changed and we ended up staying on the island longer as the afternoon tour wasn't able to run as planned. I would have liked to see more islands, but staying on South Sea Island was just fine. Snorkeling was great, even saw a white tipped shark! I would definitely do it again!

Nice tour, all drinks included. Island only 30mins from Marina so no long travel time._br/_ Pros - nice lunch, drinks included, snorkel tours are a highlight. The reef around the island is fantastic and the variety of sea life you can see and visibility is quite good._br/_ Cons - Island is quite small. You can walk across in 5mins so if you are not the 'do nothing' type you may get bored real early as unlike the other islands this one is tiny.

I gave this tour less than 5 stars b/c its misleading. The combo cruise was nice but the second half of it is cruising around the other islands, basically acting as a taxi for other passengers with an intermittent comment about the island we were approaching and it lasted 2 hours. By the end of the first hour, most of the passengers that were previously with us on the island were asleep. Also, when you do the combo cruise, make sure that you get the specific instructions on how you will be transported back to your hotel. Since our hotel was farther away from the marina than others, we ended up getting left at a hotel to sit around and wait for our ride for 3 hours. It was a nightmare. When the driver finally came back, he nearly drove off without us....the company forgot about us completely. I would recommend doing the full day or just half day South Sea Island Cruise.

To be very honest, this tour was fun, but not worth the 106 USD that my husband and I paid for it. We somehow missed that this trip is booked with South Sea Cruises who we realized once arriving monopolizes the cruises to the islands and is therefore able to charge a lot of money for very little time on the islands they cruise to. Nevertheless, the island itself if tiny, there are way more people on the island there for the tour than there are umbrellas to rest under, there are free soft drinks and beers/wine, the snorkel trip is well worth it and free because there snorkeling around the island itself is poor, and there is a bbq lunch... just a few bits of information to share. Oh, back to the lunch... SO BAD. We were disgusted. Try to bring your own snacks if you go on this cruise. Another positive note about this trip though, is that it is fairly close to the marina so the time on the boat is limited and time on the island if you are able to get an umbrella is fair.

There were other people who were on full day who got on the first submersible as it was first come first serve. You should only let half day people on the first boat as they have limited time.

Island is pretty and nice with good resting area, pool is a bonus for kids to play and unlimited drink is great, but the cruise ship is way too crowded going to the island, our family have to split up to even get a seat. Semi-submarine is ok to see some corals but there's hardly any fish to see. Overall still a reasonably good trip to join in.

This half day trip was wonderful. I had 2 hours on South Sea Island. It's very small but well set up and organised. We did trip in their submersible - sort of like a submarine where you can see the coral and fish without actually snorkling. They did also have snorkling if you wanted to. I prefer to sit on the beach in the sun.

I did the full-day cruise. The island is wonderful, and the food is great. They performed a wonderful dance for us. I marked it down because they really went slack for the latter half of the day. They have a schedule up, and it is just for looks. They followed it up until the half-day people left, and then they leave the rest of us there with no activities for the second half of the day. The boat came to pick us up more than 45 minutes late, and if you got stuck sitting in the back on the way back, you are sucking fumes. I had gone on a different cruise the day before, and this one just didn't live up to that one. If you do go, then just do the half-day, but they don't have hotel pick-up for the half-day. It is lovely on the island though, but the people don't get to know you or care too much about how you're doing.
