Visit the Nairobi National Park that lies within Nairobi city. One has an option of either morning or afternoon with an extra option for the safari walk with lunch at a top 100 world famous restaurant. Please note the morning tour takes 5 hours and the afternoon takes 4 hours from pick up to drop off. If you are combining the National Park with Elephant Orphanage, you must depart from the park by 10:30am. We have offered you many options to choose from for your visit to Nairobi National Park (NNP).
Visit the Nairobi National Park and embark on a long game viewing drive around the park. It was established in 1946, 114 kms (44 sq miles) of pristine savanna with a large stock of migratory game and lies between the Nairobi-Mombasa railway and the garden suburb of Langata. It is open on its south-east perimeter and here the Kitengela Conservation Area allows a corridor for the natural migration of the game which takes place with the seasonal rains.
For those who take the safari walk with lunch option you will proceed to the Safari walk with guide and then proceed for lunch.
We were amazed at how many animals we saw, up close and personal! Male and female lions, hippos, rhinoceros, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, birds, etc.. The early morning start is a helpful tip as the animals are more active. I took 200 photos and can't possibly decide which few to post. We declined the planned Safari Walk in the park to spend more time on the safari drive because it was so wonderful and we were having so much fun._br/_ Our guide was knowledgeable and terrific. We coupled the park tour with a fun lunch at Carnivore for a great day first day in town before leaving for our 18-day Kenya/Tanzania safari. As always in our 10 yrs/9 countries of Viator tours, we were not disappointed.

We enjoyed a great tour of the Nairobi National Park. Just visiting the park itself was enough to make for a wonderful day, but I cannot praise our guide Fanuel Maina enough. He was knowledgeable, personable, and altogether delightful. I would highly recommend both the tour and our guide to anyone visiting Nairobi.

Rainy and cloudy day...and difficult to spot animals in this period of the year, but we could see Lions, Rhyno far far away, tons of Impalas and zebras and some beautiful Giraffes._br/_ A short 3 hours tour, but a nice getaway from the city..

Great driver and guide. Worked hard for us to make sure we saw as much as we could. Great attitude and funny.
