Take an underwater cruise in your own submarine! Perfect for swimmers and non-swimmers alike, you'll zoom effortlessly around the coral gardens on your SUB (Scenic Underwater Bubble) submarine. It's a truly unique experience, offering a memorable opportunity to interact with Nassau's colorful tropical fish and living coral.
Your SUB underwater experience begins with an orientation provided by your professional SUB guide. During the briefing, you'll learn basic piloting skills and simple operating and communication procedures.
Following your orientation, you will board the comfortable custom-built support vessel to cruise to one of Nassau's famous reefs. Then, when you take to the water in your seahorse-shaped submarine, you'll be propelled to a depth of 15 feet (4.5 meters) to cruise around a coral reef and alongside colorful fish at a speedy two knots.
Throughout your submarine adventure, a team of professional SUB guides will supervise and escort you around the spectacular coral reef, feeding the fish along the way and stopping to point out the marine life.
Custom videos of your submarine experience will be available for purchase after your undersea excursion. Participant requirements:
Must be at least 12 years of age.
Must have good physical health.
Must be at least five feet tall.
Cannot be pregnant or have asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, a personal history of heart attacks, heart problems or strokes, recently diagnosed high blood pressure, be taking antidepressant medications or other potential contraindicated medications, or have problems equalizing your ears on an airplane or in the mountains. All participants will be required to complete a medical history form to determine eligibility.

The crew was superb! These were incredibly easy to navigate! The only disappointment was the condition of the coral reefs. This is not the fault of Stuart's Cove. My understanding is that the only real beautiful reefs are in Australia, and those are also dying off. So sad. I would highly recommend this excursion!!

We were really looking forward to this adventure. The crew was most helpful and instructive. The only thing I would have liked to see different was the number of people diving at the same time. It seemed we spent more time getting everyone down and not enough time looking around. There were 9 in our group. That being said, the staff is very safety conscious and there were enough of them in the water that it was a very controlled environment. My ears did hurt for the first few minutes. I think that is pretty much a given. I thought they were going to take pictures or do videos that we could purchase. That would have been nice, because it is almost impossible to use an underwater camera. Once again the staff was awesome. The boat ride out is about 25 minutes. After or before your dive you and snorkel. Equipment is provided.

I was not too fond of this SUB adventure. The machines SUBs are cute and clever with lots of issues. Your body is in the water sitting on a seat and your head is inside with air flowing. You just breathe normally. Inside, the noise levels are deafening. They are loud pitched and torturous. The machine goes about 1 mile per hour no joke so you don't move far. Where they took us had very little in the way of fish or anything else. It was more fun to snorkel afterwards while waiting for the others to do their SUB adventure. While snorkeling was not loud and the water was clear, there still was not a lot to see below. One day these SUBS will be made better and could be a lot of fun. Right now, they are not.

Not happy with this Stuart cove's they took us sub adventure but not good experience.. They put us in under water didn't keep us together also didn't get to see any thing and rushed us out of water. they say was for 30 mins. they make us get out in 10 to 15 mins.

This is really three adventures in one. The ride from the cruise ship port to the Nassau SUB Bahamas Adventure location is about 20 minutes and offers a great overview of Nassau neighborhoods. The boat ride out to the SUB Adventure site is about 20 minutes or so and provides great views of Nassau from the water. The SUB Adventure itself is out of this world. At one point in the adventure, a member of the SUB adventure staff sprinkles some fish food on the plastic bubble of your private sub and the fish swarm over the entire bubble making it impossible to see anything else. I highly recommend this excursion. I have not experiences anything similar to it in any of my travels.

This tour was amazing. All the fishes where very close The staff are friendly and very helpful. Make sure to bring your own towel. And if you get car sick or boat sick easily bring medication for it. Highly recommend it.

Wish we had more "training" than the "brief" less-than-5" orientation right before we got on the machine in the water! My machine unfortunately didn't turn to the right and as a consequence I had some unwanted experiences with lines (my buoy line) getting tangled in boat anchoring lines and wandering off on my own trying to rejoin my group and heading toward a boat and propeller! Having said that, the crew was very experienced and hands on which I certainly appreciated under the circumstances. Glad we had a small group (6 of us) on this tour so the situations above could be addressed readily.The experience, nonetheless, was a one-of-a-kind which I would recommend to anyone looking for something "different" in the Bahamas and the attitude of the crew was wonderful.

It was indeed an experience, however, we felt that the machines were not in good conditions (i.e. made the steering of left and right pretty taxing) and the underwater scene was nothing too fascinating.

I felt like the majority of time was wasted on gathering up the group/individuals to for photo ops under water. The machine was difficult to maneuver and it moved a lot slower than I had expected it. I wish we could have gone a little bit longer to make up for the loss time of waiting around for people with more difficult machines. It is a great concept, but the actual excursion was a little disappointing. I would not recommend it to someone else at this price.

The sub scooter adventure tour was so fun, and the crew was really helpful with assuring me and my girlfriend were safe and guided our group through the many coral and pointed out two 5ft long blacktip reef sharks. I would recommend this for anybody who likes activities in the water.

My Mom doesn't know how to swim, I was surprised that she had such a great time. The crew took very good care of her. The photographer was also excellent..It was beautiful underwater, we saw so many beautiful fishes, sea turtles, I would like to do it again. LOVE THE WHOLE CREW!!!!!!!

It was a great company to work with. The crew was very helpful and informative. The Mini Sub adventure itself was super neat. The only thing we would change is the info the Viator site has hotel pick-up times listed, and tells cruise ship patrons to meet at a certain location to be picked up. Be 10 minutes early. And you depart at 9:30. In reality, your pick-up time IS "Downtown Hotels" pick-up time. 9:30 is when the boat leaves the dock at Stuarts Cove. Thankfully, Stuarts Cove was very helpful and worked with us to get on an outing later in the day.

It was a good experience, as I was doing this for the first time. Proper care was taken by the instructors and there were other divers to look after and see that nothing goes wrong. The only part that I didn't appreciate was that they fed the fish in the ocean to get them closer to us.

It was a fun boat ride to the spot where we rode the sub. The crew was very nice, explained the process very well, and helped each of us get into our subs with no problems. We had enough time to explore the reef, the experience was fantastic, and we even had a chance to snorkel afterward. I would do it again.

Such a wonderful experience, made even more so by the friendly staff. You feel safe and they make the most of your visit (especially when they feed fish in front of your sub and you're engulfed!). One word of caution: The ride from port (if you arrive on a cruise) is 30 minutes or more. Also, Dramamine might be a good idea, for the boat ride and the sub ride, if you're sensitive to motion sickness. Still, an unbelievable experience swimming with sharks and an unreal variety of sea life. Highly recommended.

The only part that i like was when I saw a shark while we are riding this bubble. the diver staff showed it to me. the prices for the photos were also ridiculous. they werent even the best photos.

Fantastic tour, good boat and crew and great invention. As a diver it was great to do this with my wife and daughter( 12 yo can drive) who had never dived reefs before. It would get a FIVE star except the SUBs are really in bad disrepair, none of my switches worked to stop or go and steering was left or right so I was like a crooked driver with divers pulling my buttons which floated off. The had a big group, twice a day they need to spend money on repairs.
