Jazz Brunch Buffet at the Court of Two Sisters Restaurant
New Orleans, United States of America
The Court of Two Sisters' Buffet Brunch boasts is a sumptuous display of hot and cold dishes. They use only the freshest ingredients so the buffet's selections change according to season and time of day.
In the morning, a typical selection of hot dishes includes made-to-order omelets, eggs Benedict, sausage and bacon, grits and grilles, and shrimp and veggie pastas with a creamy alfredo sauce. The afternoon's sampling includes Creole jambalaya, turtle soup, crawfish Louise, duck a l'Orange, and shrimp etouffee.
Additionally, one complimentary glass of house wine, champagne or mimosa is included.
The cold buffet is a creative sampling of boiled shrimp (and crawfish when in season) with your choice of traditional cocktail or Creole remoulade sauces, seafood and pasta salads, ceviche, pates, cheeses and a variety of fresh fruit. Also included are delicious desserts: pecan pie, homemade vanilla ice cream, bananas foster and our famous bread pudding with whiskey sauce. While enjoying brunch, relax and sing along with the Jazz Trio, which plays daily.
Great evening with traditional New Orleans feel about the the food and music. Great atmosphere

Amazing place when you learn the history of the Two Sisters. They don't tell you about it so you have to read the info on the walls or take the Walking Cocktail Tour. The brunch food was good. Their Bayou Bash drink is a must try. The place was clean. The one thing that prevents me from making this a five-star review is...it's called Jazz Brunch, but I had to ask why there was no music. The band rotates between the indoor and outdoor seating so half of the time there was no music at all. I would have been happier if jazz music were playing over a speaker than to have had no music. I asked our server about adult beverages. You receive 1 included Mimosa, then you can buy additional drinks if you'd like. Yay, I like that, but I had to go ask at the host's desk for a drink menu.We would have purchased more adult beverages but our waiter wasn't very attentive so we had to flag him down and ask. They seemed to have plenty of staff, they just weren't into their work. Empty dishes stacked up on our table. There's a lot of potential here, they need better staff training and music playing when the band cannot be heard.

The food was good and service great, however we were more impressed by the beautiful ambiance of the courtyard. It was truly a wonderful experience in NOLA.

Food and atmosphere was great. Was a little frustrated that I booked and prepaid a 12:30 pm time on Viator, had confirmation on my phone only to find out when I showed up we didn't have a reservation. Apparently, I had a voucher which then allows me to call restaurant and make formal reservation. Also they like printed copies, don't like using phone copy. It ended up fine with a 15 minute wait but was very confusing.

The courtyard is beautiful, the jazz band was great, and the food was fabulous. What more can you ask for?

Great food and plenty to choose from and enjoyable ambiance. This was our final tour and we ate too much, but I would recommend it. We had a great server who helped immensely who I recommended to the manager, but I forgot his name. He recommended foods to try and cleaned our table quickly so we could go back for more food.

The food at this brunch was excellent - but to call it a Jazz brunch is a stretch at best. We were there for 1 hour and 40 minutes and the band performed in our room for exactly 20 minutes during that time. There are two rooms that ONE band switches between - plus takes breaks - so actual time playing in any given area is quite limited. I don't understand why there aren't two bands playing one in each area - or at least some other form of NOLA entertainment given when the band is not playing. Want a brunch? - it is great Want a JAZZ brunch? - find someplace else.

The Court of two sisters was wonderful. The buffet was in incredible spread of cajun and creole cuisine and delicious deserts. The staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. Our waiter, Mr. Russell was professional and very kind. It was a very nice experience. I'll will definitely return. Thank you.

I had brunch at this restaurant several years ago during Mardi Gras and wondered if it would have the same cache at an off time. It exceeded my expectations with the same wonderful food and a NOLA jazz trio that knocked my socks off! Good service all around as well.

The whole ambience was amazing. The quiet courtyard setting away from the hustle and bustle outside, the jazz musicians playing under the beautiful blue sky, the whole host of dishes to savour the local cuisine - what more could anyone ask for! Definitely recommended.

The atmosphere at Court of Two Sisters is great and the courtyard is beautiful. However, the food was very average. We went at 1:30 so most breakfast options had been put away, just omelettes and eggs benedict bar were open. The quality of the food was sub par as most items had been sitting under heat lamps for an extended period of time. The prime rib and duck were very overcooked, and the veal was well done it was nearly inedible. We were never offered the complimentary champagne or wine that comes with the brunch and numerous times throughout the meal our silverware was cleared but not replaced so we had to continually asked our server for utensils. I would say the desert bar was the highligh, the pecan pie and bread pudding were both very good. I was disappointed in that I expected much more out of the food for such an esteemed restaurant. There are much better and cheaper brunch options available in New Orleans, I would skip this one.

The food was great, wonderful selection of foods. The music not so great. The three guys just didn't seem to really be happy to be there and wasn't into giving a good show.

We had a wonderful time even with the cold weather. Wonderful food. At the The Two Sisters the jazz group came to our table and sang Happy Birthday to my husband.

OH. MY. GOD. This is the brunch buffet dreams are made of. There are so many options... anything you could ever want for brunch you will find on this buffet! There are traditional breakfast foods grits, omelette station with eggs benedict, lunch items sandwiches, pasta salad, traditional Louisiana foods jambalaya, shrimp boil, shrimp etuoffee, gumbo, and desserts cake, brownies, bananas foster with ice cream, king cake, plus more that are too numerous to list. There was even ceviche! The atmosphere in the courtyard is serene and a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter. Loved the jazz band as well. Do not leave New Orleans without eating brunch here!

Mimosa or Champagne, Eggs Benedict, a hot buffet line, fruits and salads, then bananas foster, bread pudding, pecan pie, apple cobbler, king cake- just about every New Orleans dish you ever heard of, all for brunch! The music was as good as the food and even the gratuity was included!
Review by: Dean W, September 2017
The restaurant was so noisy, it was impossible to enjoy the experience. The sounds were bouncing off the walls not including the jazz trio just adding to the din. I certainly wouldn't go again!

Enjoyed the Sunday Jazz brunch. Lots of varieties of delicious and scrumptious foods.

.Never saw any jazz players?
Review by: mac, September 2017
Waited over 10 minutes before a server asked for our drink order. Most of the buffet was overcooked and out too long. The Potato Salad was very good and they did have a good dessert selection on the buffet. The venue is very classy. But - I didn't hear Jazz just some very old standards from the 40s and 50s. I would not take this tour again. Note: The 600 Block of Rue Royal is best reached by walking. Parking is iffy in the area.

I really enjoyed to old quaintness of the place and the food spread was great
Review by: Leanne L, September 2017
We had a lovely time- very nice people- food was good and ambiance was nice. Cost is a little high but it is an experience. Unfortunately it rained so could not be in the outdoor courtyard but got to look around the building which was fun! Only criticism would be that we expected to hear a lot more music than we did- just a song here and there!
