Departing from the Big Apple, you'll head north and pass the beautiful Delaware Gap to Watkins Glen State Park in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. Stroll through the impressive Watkins Glen Canyon and visit the beautiful waterfalls before continuing on past Seneca Lake to Niagara Falls. Arriving to the falls in the late afternoon, you'll tour the American Side and visit all the major highlights including the American Falls, Goat Island and Sisters Islands. Leaving the hotel the next day, you'll hear the thundering water of Niagara Falls. I'm really glad I took this tour. It was a long drive to Niagara but our tour guide was entertaining and informative. He had information about history, geography, topography of all the important points along our journey as well as Niagara Falls itself. The weather was extremely cold -13C chill factor, but it made for a beautiful Niagara experience. I loved the whole trip, seeing and learning about part of the US that wasn't in a city. The bus was very comfortable and the comfort stops well chosen.

This tour involves 2 days of sitting on buses with little time at the actual falls. On day one we wasted so much time dropping off passengers who didn't get the necessary visa for Canada, then went a duty free store at the border, then had to wait while the border officials had dinner between 6 and 7:30, so the advertised visit to the Canadian side was just 20 mins in the dark. No good for photos or enjoying the spectacle or seeing the town. 20 minutes in the dark after almost 13 hours of travel. Really?????Then back onto the bus to go 6km to a motel with no food facilities onsite or nearby. And the driver got lost on the way to the out of town motel. It is just not good enough for the money charged, once there to be told freshen up quickly, the bus will take you back to town so you can eat, but then you'll have to get taxis back to the hotel after dinner and tomorrow we'll reimburse you the taxi fare. Taxis take credit cards. Well, no they don't. Hassle and inconvenience when people are already tired and disappointed. Day 2 we were off to an early start, the morning walking tour on the US side was good, but rushed so it was difficult for people with mobility issues, then onto the bus again, with a very very very boring stop at a shopping outlet for 90 minutes of sheer boredom, sitting on a bus seat waiting for the coach to return. Guide was pleasant but disorganised, she often started speaking and just didn't finish what she was saying. She said things which were inconsistent with what she said before. This tour seems like one where the tour company is just herding tourists into shops due to deals that benefit the shops and tour company without providing much for the tourists sucked into attending. I have done many tours in many places booked through Viator, and they have all been fine, This one was not.

The tour is only one end heavy. It's a long ride from NYC to Niagara Falls and things get interesting only when you reach the destination and only if you're staying on the Canadian side. There is very little guide/commentary while on the bus and what we got seemed lazy. Solo travellers need to know that once in Niagara you get time off to spend how you like dine and see the illuminated falls but the hotel is located a 30 mins walking distance from where they drop you off so you'd have to take a taxi reimbursed or walk. So this arrangement works much better for couples or large paries or solo travellers who make fast friends on the bus.

Fantastic!! Would highly recommend anyone taking this tour. Well organised, knowledgeable tour guide Eddie friendly obliging driver Mario A long time on the road but plenty of restroom stops and a comfortable coach with toilet. A lovely walk down hill at Watkins Glen on the first day broke up the drive up. The Super 8 hotel on the Canadian side was more than adequate for one night and a pleasant walk back after watching the fireworks over Niagara Falls. Taking time out to purchase souvenirs as there is not much time next day_br/_ A short stroll the next day then the Maid of the Mist out into the falls. So worth the trip. A stop for some shopping at an outlet on the way back rounded off the trip nicely and gave a chance to stretch legs. _br/_ Would most certainly say this was well worth it.

This was a very enjoyable and fun tour. I did not know what to expect because of how far Niagara Falls was from New York. The bus was very comfortable. It also had Wi Fi. I liked that we stopped every couple of hours and got off the bus at planned areas. Jonathan and our bus driver was awesome. the bus driver assisted us ladies off the last stairs every time we got off the bus. Jonathan our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept everything interesting and fun. We went on a nature hike at Watkins Glen. The waterfall was very nice to see on the Gorge Trail where we did our nature walk. Wear comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a little wet and a little dirty, my shoes were fine. After seeing the awesome Niagara Falls on the USA side all of us with Pass Ports went to the Canadian side to stay the night at a hotel there. At night Niagara Falls is lit up with color and it is beautiful. Breakfast was provided for us a very good breakfast with a lot of variety. We went back to the USA side to pick up the non Past Port passengers. We went to Niagara Falls to get on the boat for the Maid of The Mist Boat Ride where we get as close as we can to Niagara Falls. The blue ponchos provided to us really protect you from getting really wet. It was so much fun in the boat I did not even care if I got a little wet. That was the highlight of the whole trip for me._br/_ On the way back to NY we stopped at a nice tourist place to eat. We then went to an outlet to shop where I bought one two many coach purses that were 50 off but that's another story. I loved hearing New York New York played by Jonathan when we were close to NY._br/_ I really loved this tour. I am thinking about taking my niece so I can go again.

Our tour guide, Beatrix, was very friendly, knowledgeable and went out of her way to make the trip as comfortable as possible._br/_ We stopped for breakfast and lunch to break up the bus ride which was great. It was a pleasure to stop at Watkins Glen a beautiful gorge and waterfall in upstate New York. On our way to the main attraction, Niagara Falls_br/_ We got to the falls with enough time to see all the sights. Thanks to our driver who was also great_br/_ Niagara Falls was beyond my expectations a truly wonderful sight to behold. So glad I finally got there. As I live in New York_br/_ Everyone else on the bus were tourists from other countries _br/_ Only negative was breakfast which was included in the price , Was awful!_br/_ And bathroom on the bus was not accessible why?........

This tour is awesome! Our guide is Ben and driver Junior. They provide extraordinary good service to us, taking care of all the details. small gestures mean alot to other people, such as Ben will pass an umbrella to one of the tour members knowing that she does not have an umbrella as it was raining. Ben is knowledgeable and explain to us the history of Niagara Falls, he even use his tablet to show us visuals. One of the stop overs is at Crossings Premium Outlet, he even has all the saving coupons ready for all of us.

Absolutely brilliant, has to be seen to be believed. Really wanted to see the falls at night but by the time the bus got us to our hotel we were too tired to walk back to see them. It would have been better if we had been taken to the hotel first instead of spending 40 minutes walking around the falls and had to leave before the lights came on. The Maid of the Mist trip was unbelievable, we didn't realise how close we got to them. Would definitely recommend this trip to others.

This tour was fabulous. We really enjoyed it. The only negative for me was that our guide conducted the tour in both English and Italian, which meant that there was a lot of talking as everything had to be said twice. We saw lots of the countryside along the way and the falls were spectacular. It was a great way to see the falls I'd recommend this tour to friends travelling to NYC.

I booked this 2 day tour for our party of five during our trip to New York and can't recommend it enough. We met at the Grayline office on 8th avenue and the coach left promptly at 7am. Ben was our guide and Cesar our driver. The drive to Niagara Falls is a long one but they make plenty of stops and give plenty of information so it goes over quickly. On arrival at the falls, we were taken to all the best spots to view them, it was totally breathtaking...then on to the hotel on the Canadian side which was the Super 8 ....it was clean and comfortable and a 15 minute walk to the main strip although the coach does a little night tour so drops you off. A taxi back from the falls to the hotel cost C8. The next day after breakfast we went on the maid of the mist which was awesome and so much fun, be warned though...you do get wet! After more free time to view the falls we headed back stopping at an outlet village which was pretty good but if you don't want to shop there are places to go for coffee or lunch. _br/_ I would advise do your souvenir shopping at night as you don't have much time the next day, there is a maid of the mist shop but queues are long so be quick. Also, we took Canadian dollars but you can use US Dollars or currency debit card. _br/_ We all thought this trip was worth the money, they show you the falls at every angle, give great information and totally maximise the time you have. Ben and Cesar were brilliant and very good at their jobs. Book this tour...you won't regret it!!

Lovely trip in the snow through New Jersey to Niagara. Beautiful scenery. Really enjoyed seeing Niagara Falls from both US and Canadian sides and night and day views. Well worth doing this trip over the cheaper ones_br/_ Pity the guide seemed to take a dislike to my partner and I and was not really polite for the whole trip. _br/_ Another disappointment was the time given at the outlet. It was included as a highlight of the tour but we only were given an hour and a half there. This could have been much more had the guide stuck to timelines. Maybe don't make it such a highlight of it or let people know that they will only have a very short time

THE TOUR WAS a success , both sides Canadian and Us Nogara sides beatiful - Driver and Guide very experienced and kind - the only thing we almost all passengers on the tour did not like , was the tip requested by the guide for each passenger to give us dollars 20 ... Tip can be given , but requesting the exact amount of 20 us dollars per person seems exagerated .

This was a very good tour. Guide Peter was very knowledgeable and friendly making everyone feel comfortable and we were a very mixed nationality and age group. I went through to Canada and stayed the night same price as staying in USA side as had correct passport. However it was a bank holiday weekend and we were travelling on Saturday. It took ages getting through passport control so we didn't get to hotel till after 8pm and dark. I did walk the length of the falls and walked back to the hotel about 20 minute walk as I enjoy walking. The main street was very much a cheap Vegas which isn't my cup of tea. So if doing tour at this time of year and like me don't like the buzzy streets I would opt for staying on the USA side and get 2 hours extra in bed. overall good easy way to see the falls but it is a long coach trip.
