Excellent, informative and fun! Our family of 5 my husband, myself, kids 18,15 and 12 years old really enjoyed this 2-day trip from New York to Philadelphia and Amish Country on Day 1 and Washington DC on Day 2. Everything was organized - covered all the stops in the itinerary, sufficient food and toilet breaks, comfortable bus with free wifi and our extremely knowledgeable tour guide Ben provided all the information that you wouldn't be able to get if you do it on your own. Loved the authentic Philly's Cheesesteak break! Like us, if you're checking out from NYC for 2 days, the convenience of being able to bring all your luggages on board the bus is a plus. Interestingly, our trip ended by watching the film National Treasure on our way back to New York good recap of the places we've visited : Thank you Ben! Highly recommended!

Tour was okay. Tour guide was ok, not very engaging. Rushed at times. Too cold weather to be out which is out of anyone’s control but could have been made more enjoyable. Overnight hotel in DC was very basic, smelly room. Philly and DC are lovely places to visit so enjoyed nevertheless.

We were a little concerned about dedicating 2 days to this tour and depleting the days we had in NY but it was well worth it. 4 of us loved the trip. Very interesting places to visit, Philadelphia, the Amish village called Intercourse - I kid you not !! and Washington DC including the Arlington cemetery ._br/_ Our tour guide Stefanos was super, he was very informative, good with historical facts and good fun. He made it a very enjoyable tour. One of the best parts was starting the second day early so we were at certain sites before they got busy with tourists. The tour is packed with lots of places to visit. We stayed at the Wyndham hotel in Washington which has large rooms and an adequate breakfast included in price.

An extremely busy two days but the content was phenomenal and I think would have been impossible to do by myself in the same time period. Our guide, Jutta, was knowledgeable, humourous and efficient. I learnt so much about the early history of the United States and its influences on current governance. It was inspiring to visit the 'so-often-seen-in-the-media' national monuments, and also disheartening in a way to wander Arlington Cemetery where so many, mostly young servicepeople's, lives are remembered. The trip to Lancaster County and the Amish farms was beautiful and our Amish guide informative and welcoming of our questions and interest. Again, I would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

The tour gives you as many stops as possible in the 2days. The guide was not very well informed. Besides wrong information,_br/_ the guide continually gave personal political views.

This was a good trip but not a great trip. The trip allowed us to see all the sights as described and enjoyed these places and the tour guide was friendly and knowledgable about the cities and the sights. However the trip would be great if the stops allowed better access to quality food choices. Our food stop in Philadelphia was a poor quality buffet style cafe and then when dropped at our hotel in Maryland for the overnight stay we were told by the tour guide that the only available places to eat were fast food restaurants that he wouldn't recommend, his best suggestion was to get snacks from the 7-11 and didn't recommend walking around too far as it wasn't safe. We have done other bus tours and the choice of restaurants on the evening was much better. Please reconsider where this trip stops overnight and pick a better location which allows access for a choice of food options to suit all budgets.

Great tour with informative guide. A tour that gave us a taste of Amish life, Washington and American history. A comfortable bus and overnight hotel stay. Free WiFi on board made staying in touch very easy. A recommended tour.

Too expensive for what it offers. Everything that we did were FREE! So, this price is just for the bus, guide tour and hotel. The guide tour was great, but the tour itself wasn't that good. The lunch stop in Philadelphia is bad!!! Expensive, not really good food and dirty. The tour in Amish Country is interesting, but very quick and shallow. The place where we stopped to browse some amish goods did not have truly amish things. I saw a lot of decoration stuff that you can buy at Bed Bath and Beyond. The hotel in Washington DC is ok, but the location is bad!! We had to call an Uber to have dinner in a nice place close to the monuments. Gladly, we called a very nice uber driver that took us to the monuments and waited for us while we were taking some pictures. Therefore, I should say that this tour could add a night tour to the monuments, because they are beautiful when illuminated at night. Unfortunately, the next day in Washington DC was rainny, and we had to do two stops before we went somewhere that we could buy a poncho or umbrella. What I mean is...we got soaked! This tour could be prepared for a rainny day and offer some ponchos for the passengers. Try to find a cheaper price and then it will worth the money.

A must take trip. This trip had a lot packed into it. What a very enjoyable trip. Jonathan was our tour guide. He was awesome. He was so friendly and knowledgeable it was so memorable reliving the history that Jonathan shared with us. It brought back memories from school way back when. Jonathan answered every question usually about history that was asked. Philadelphia was so neat all the historical documents, the Liberty Bell and its history, we all climbed Rocky stairs and of coarse had a Philly cheese steak. This trip was never boring, the large bus was very comfortable and we stopped enough times to get off the bus to eat, visit site and for bathroom breaks. Comfortable shoes are a must. Jonathan had this big blue and white umbrella so that we knew where he was at all times in case some one wonder from the group. Philadelphia was nice also, we went to an Amish Village shopped then rode in a horse driven buggy driven by the Amish. I really liked the buggy ride. Onto Washington were we stayed at a comfortable hotel. the breakfast I think was just for us. It was not just a high carb breakfast. It had every kind of breakfast food. I was really impressed with breakfast. _br/_ I was really looking forward to the Arlington Cemetery visit and I was not disappointed. The walk to see the Changing of the Guards at Arlington were a little bit challenging for some because it was a bit long and up hill, but I walk every day so it was no problem. My son keep teasing me about all the people that I was walking faster than. The walk was at your own pace so there was no pressure. When we were almost back in NY Jonathan played New York New York for us. It made me smile._br/_ I highly recommend this trip it was fun and never boring.

Absolutely superb! What a wonderful 2 days! Guide Eddie and driver Pete were first class and every part of the trip from Philadelphia, through Amish country and onto Washington was fantastic. For us from the UK it was a dream come true and many ticks on our bucket list! We cannot recommend this trip high enough.

I took my mom on this one, she's 72 and gets around fine, but these tour guides were more like cattle drivers and we were the cattle. They ran us like cattle through Arlington cemetery at a brisk walk that a borderline jog. This was sad cause my Mom was not the only older person that went on this tour. Some of the older people did not go on all the stops cause the tour guides were rushing everybody through everything. Oh if your an American be prepared to be treated like a second class citizen, yes back of the bus and the tour guide was not attentive to us as they were to the other foreign tourist. For instance the Amish horse carriage ride the father and son from Israel was able to set in the front with the driver and talk with the driver, but since we're American go to the back of the carriage. This was really bad, and I would not do it again.

Wow, what a trip. Stephano was wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and funny. Washington was packed as it was Memorial weekend, but he managed to time everything precisely so we got the most benefit of our tour. A huge thank you to Frank our driver also. Awesome team. This trip was worth it.

Great tour to see both cities in a short amount of time. Victoria our leader was brilliant, told us all the history to know. Unfortunately there were 2 leaders as the group had 4 different nationalities.. the other leader Jose / Joseph wasn't as pleasant or friendly as Victoria. Would recommend the trip if you don't mind that its not an all English speaking tour.

The whole group 35 people met at Manhattan, but the bus went out of way to pick up 4 guests in New Jersey. The driver can't find their hotel, so we wasted more than 1 hour just for that. Went to Philadelphia Mint, but it was closed. We have total 3 guides since they mixed 4 different languages groups English, Italian, German and Hebrew into 1 trip. The Hebrew guide just keep smoking among the group, even though we have young children there. The driver and guide don't know how to get to Arlington Cemetery, we went around The Pentagon more than 5 times another 20 minutes wasted. We finally got to Arlington Cemetery after someone in the tour uses his Google map to guide the driver there.

Trip was great. Guides were helpful and informative. Managed to see a lot in the given time slot if on a short visit to NY City but also want to see a little of Washington DC, Philly and Amish Country. Would definitely recommend. Thanks heaps and also for getting us back to NYC at a reasonably early time of night.

Covered the major sights and it is worth staying overnight due to the amount of driving involved. A great snapshot. Perhaps a bit rushed in Philadelphia, but there is a lot to fit in!

The tour was great as was the guide. However at the end of the tour the guide gave us the "compulsory" speech about tipping as "you are Australians who are unaccustomed to tipping". We had already decided to tip, but her speech was confusing and my husband reduced the tip to what he thought the guide asked for. However I thought he got it wrong. Her request was 20% of what we paid for the tour each which would split 3 ways. The driver and another guide, who was on the tour for the Hebrew/Spanish speaking passengers. Given the price of the tour and the comments that tipping was optional I was disappointed by the request. All that being said the tour was very good

Philadelphia and Washington DC were fabulous. Great tour with a great itinerary, would absolutely recommend. I didn't know that I would be on multi-lingual tour (German/Hebrew) and was one of only 3 English speaking tourists. I had to ask a number of time for English translation, which was frustrating. Our guide seemed uninterested in his job.

The whole tour was very well organized. We managed to visit all the attractions in schedule, there were no delays. The tour guide, Stefano, was very nice. He spoke italian for the whole group, and explained everything in enghlish once more just for me and my friend. This is the perfect trip if you have limited time and want to see both cities. Just enough time to visit the most interesting places. The hotel was old and needs a lot of renovation, but its ok for one night. Thanks to the whole team, the experience was really worthed!!!

We had a bad start with our van breaking down and had an unplanned stop at a diner there was no offer to even pay for a coffee. This put us behind and time tight for the rest of the trip. There was very little commentary from the 2 guides who seemed to be more interest in talking to each other.
