I used this for 4 attractions, and was so easy to use! If you can, make sure you screenshoot the QR code that you get provided with via email, as you'll need this every time you line up for your pre-booked tickets. Be aware - you can't just turn up to the top of the rock unless you're there first thing at 8am - I arrived at 11:45 and the next available group was 12:50 which will vary on the day. Either turn up early or be prepared to not go up straight away!

Was very happy overall but found that we still had to queue for many things and could not bypass the queue because of security checks._br/_ The Statue of liberty had a two hour wait and then again a wait when you got to the island. Hense we did not do this activity. This security is our of your hands but it is still annoying to have to wait for this amount of time. New York was great at Christmas but the crowds were way more than we expected. We still had a great time.

Lots of places to choose from, our time was limited so plan out your days in advance. We used the Big bus as a way to get to our visits and learnt a lot about the city from the commentary on the bus. Listening to the local people talk about their experiences of 9/11 was very emotional, but they want to share their story with others.

We have done these tours all over the world and this was 9just ok. The stop was hard to find and out of 3 guides, only 1 Aaron ,was good._br/_ The traffic makes it a difficult tour, but it worthwhile and informative. Don't rely on hopping on or off as the queues can be long!

This was our first visit to NYC so we planned to se as much as possible in our five-day visit. For us the explorer pass was ideal and we decided to go for five of the many attractions/venues - Empire state building, Top of the Rock, Statue of Liberty, 9-11 memorial and the Natural history museum. We saved quite a lot on entrance fees and entrance to each of the venues was very quick and easy. Using the explorer pass helped us decide on how to plan our holiday and this worked very well for us. Getting around NY is very easy using the subway and we found that many places were easy to walk to using street maps and GPS just to confirm walking direction. We used the 3 subway ticket to travel around and found that occasionally these tickets didn't let you in onto the platform when swiped so have some spare handy if the station isn't manned. We were very pleased with our visit and have no hesitation in recommending the explorer pass to anyone visiting NYC.

Didn't save very much money overall with 7 events/admissions. You still have to join a line and get tickets for most admissions in the normal way which can waste time, rather than a faster access queue. Some of the museums listed are free on certain days so don't use the pass for these. Difficult to access info on the App and ended up phoning several places to get more info. No direct link on the App or website to take you direct to the events/museums concerned so needs updating.

We went to Moma, Top of the Rock, both had quicker queues for pass holders. We were going to go to the Empire state building observatory, decided against it as there was no special queue. We also went to Liberty and Ellis Island. Could have been cheaper without the pass but we had a separate queue. Also went to American museum of natural history and the met. It definitely made it easier having the pass in advance as it encouraged you to see more.

The New York Explorer Pass was great value for money. Very easy to use and well known at the different attractions. Only hick-up we had was at the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island - where we could not pre-book - and therefore had to take pot luck as to when we could go. Chose this over the unlimited type of city pass since I knew we could only fit so much in during our 3 day stay in New York. Paid for 3 options having worked out our schedule and best value for money. Used for Top of the Rock Rockefeller Centre, Empire State Building and night time ferry. No fast track options, but queues in May not bad. Personally like to have paid for as much as possible before travelling, and without putting too much strain on time, family members know the plan! Bought city sightseeing tour bus tickets separately as got a better deal with added hop-on-hop-off ferry tickets included.

I was hesitant to buy this pass for our trip to NYC only because if it rained we wouldn't have been able to do the things we wanted to do and then may have wasted money buying the pass. Also, I feared the Statue of Liberty line, not knowing what to expect and not being able to make some sort of advanced reservations. Luckily for us, it didn't rain and the lines at Lady Liberty were light. So our experience was close to perfect. I bought the Explorer 4 pass and used it on Top of the Rock, Statue of Liberty, Central Park bike tour and the American Museum of Natural History. I think I would have saved more money though if I had bought the Explorer 3 pass and just paid for the Statue of Liberty. Originally I was thinking of doing a guided tour but we went with just the self guided tour that was only 18.00 per adult and 9.00 per child. OOPS! Do your math and check it twice.

Had a great time and this pass was very helpful. Had some issues at the Rockefeller Center tour and ended up being told where to get tickets by three different people and none of them were correct. So, we didn't make the cut off time for that tour. 9/11 Tribute tour was our favorite thing by far. Anthony was our tour guide and he was wonderful! Also did the Circle Line Landmark cruise and really enjoyed that. We did the Empire State building and everything was good except you can only go to the 86th floor observation deck. You have to pay extra to go to the top. Overall I would say this was a good value.
