The carriage ride through Central Park was lovely. A great way to relax, see the sights, and enjoy a few moments to be able to look around without being in the crush of people. It was a little difficult to locate the correct corner to secure our ride, however, once there, the staff were very kind and helpful. Our driver wasn't very talkative, but provided a few tidbits about the Central Park area. Maybe he was allowing us to experience the sights without a lot of distraction. We took the 45 minute ride. It was the perfect way to see most of Central Park.

There is no one there when you arrive to direct you where to go. No one knew anything about the voucher from viator. They all told us we had to purchase from them in cash. We finally got someone to take us after wondering around the place, the ride was OK at best, our guide didn't speak good English, could not understand a word he said. We didn't get to stop for pictures, he seemed annoyed that we were even riding with him. Total let down for all the money paid for the ride. The blanket they had was dirty, do yourself a favor and stick to the main carriage ride companies, not even sure of the name of the one we took. He dropped us off in the middle of a busy street and picked up 2 people from those taxi bikes, not even getting the full time that we paid for, then got upset we didn't tip him.

Unorganied! Although I purchased tickets online, we still had to wait over an hour for a carriage. There were 3 lines- purchased tickets and need to purchase tickets. There were literally hundreds of people in all the lines. No benefit to purchasing ahead of time.

A delightful way to be introduced to Central Park. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the Park and surrounding architectural landmarks. The staff was cheerful and friendly, volunteering to take pictures for us that actually were very nicely done. The Park is lovely and inspiring. Wonderful to see people relaxing and enjoying this treasured gift to the city of NY.

The tour was described as a ride of 45 minutes with blanket .The tour only lasted 30 min and no blanket was offered ..and it was a chilly afternoon on thanksgiving. The guide was friendly and pointed out certain land marks and buildings. Enjoyed the experience but felt disappointed that it was over very quickly for the price paid .

The carriage ride itself was great with a great driver who went out of his way to stop and take picture of us and point out landmarks. However, we discovered after we got there that if we had purchased the ride through the driver we would have paid significantly less. Viator charged us 149 for a 40 minute ride but if we had purchased from the driver at the park the cost would only have been 75. I was very disappointed and next time will wait until the day of our trip and save over half on the cost and not use Viator for future events.

We had booked a 40/50 min ride around Central Park and were lucky enough to get Alex and Oscar the horse to take us on what proved to be an informative trip with Alex providing numerous snippets of information on the surroundings buildings and who had lived or did live there and the places within the park where various filmakers had used parts of the park. He was attentive amusing and full of enthusiasm and made the whole experience wonderful.

The NYC carriage ride was planned as a birthday gift. When we arrived we were told that half the tour would now be in the city streets due to the NYC marathon. They had blockades in major parts of the park. We specifically wanted to see Strawberry fields but all we could do was get a glimpse of it as we exited the park. Needless to say we were disappointed. When booking your event do some research to see what is happening in the area the day you plan on visiting.

Our experience was not good. Our driver was not personable and there was no information as we went through the park. Maybe another driver would have made the visit a positive one. As a result, this tour is very driver dépendant and as there is inconsistency there is the risk of a poor experience.

Beautiful ride through Central Park on a chilly night in January. They offered blankets and the tour guide told us about many of the buildings and sights we viewed from the carriage. This was an amazingly serene and quiet stroll through the park in a city with so much activity.

We pre booked a cariage ride to save waiting in line. It was a nightmare . You had to form a que between ourselves _br/_ no official que for pre booked tickets next to people waiting in line. There were carriages which should have been stopping for us and were taking people who had not booked but who had just purchased a ticket from a ticket seller on the street . We waited nearly an hour which is not acceptable_br/_ There was no organisation at all and we would not recommend pre booking this tour as it has no advantages .

It was cold, but I never expected to just keep moving in the park. At least that is what we thought of out tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, but we never stopped to get out to take a picture, or were never offered to have our picture taken. He wasn't very friendly and treated it more as just a job then to enjoy the differences of the guests they are showing around. Some are more movie buffs and likes hearing all about the movies, while others may enjoy the architecture, peacefulness of the park, or even some history. But when you have a person who just can't wait to get this tour group done so they can work on the next ones. We also got attitude when we first walked up and showed him out vouchers. This could have been so much more!!!

Our driver did not show up so we had to call Viator and they tried to locate him, we walked and waited about 30-45 minutes we requested a refund : ended up renting from central park carriage ride. it was an awesome tour of the park. highly recommend a carriage ride in central park.

Booking a day ahead made it the simplest, most stress free, least expensive, most relaxing thing we did in NYC. Taxi let us out at Central Park at the carriage area, we immediately got on a carriage and had a beautiful, informative ride through the Park. Driver was friendly, informative, and helpful. This was one of my favorite things on our trip. This is a DON'T MISS thing to do.
