This was an outstanding tour, and a must for anyone visiting NYC. The Statue of Liberty was great to see up close, but it was Ellis Island that surprised us most. It is an incredibly moving place, made all the more real through the wonderful real-life story-telling of our guide Rachel. I can't say enough good things about Rachel - from the organisation and timekeeping, through to the facts she conveyed, and the way she brought everything to life. Wonderful trip, and will remain in our memories.

Allison was a great guide. My teenagers loved this tour and said they much preferred it to going through the museum on their own. We had a very foggy day and unfortunately did not have great views, but Allison made the experience a really good one anyway!

Our tour guide Sam Floyd was humorous and helpful. He kept us entertained during the tour while we learned much about the history of the Statue Of Liberty and Ellis Island. He had a strong memory for anecdotes about the sites. I and my 12 year old son had not taken tours previously but after such a positive experience with Sam we certainly will take more tours in the future.

Great tour by our awesome tour guide Alice!!! She was very enthusiastic and shared her vast knowledge of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and NYC. I would highly recommend taking this tour and my next trip to NYC will include another tour with Alice to the Statue of Liberty! We also went on the first tour of the day 8:30 am which is definitely the best time of the day to go! Unfortunately on the day of our booked in advance tour, the weather was very foggy and never really cleared up. Visibility of the statue and city surroundings was maybe 60 - 75 so I will go again. This trip was fantastic. We normally do things ourselves but having the guide made this trip even better. We learnt things about liberty and Ellis island we would not have learnt, and Ben, our guide, took us to photo spots we would never have known. Ben was fun, and informative. I would tell any of our guests who come and stay to take this guided trip. Two thoughts. We went with our 7 and 10 year old... probably a bit too much queuing and waiting for the 7 year old to do liberty and Ellis island. Maybe stick to just liberty with under 10s,,, and whatever you do. ... GET UP EARLY AND GET THE EARLY TOUR. The line to do this at midday was 1000 yards long, at least...

We had a wonderful experience on our Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Guided Tour. It started out at Battery Park with Roseann checking us in. She was very competent and friendly. Then our tour guide was Dani and she was a great guide. We took the ferry over to The Statue of Liberty and Dani took us through the museum and up the steps to the top. She has a super personality and made the statue come to life. Then over to Ellis Island and the museum there was so interesting. We even found my grandmother's name on the silver wall out in back. We would definitely recommend this tour. It is a must when you go to NYC. And hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Dani as your guide too.

Viator had this well organised. Our guide was waiting for us at the arranged time. Direction to the ferry and where to be_br/_ after leaving the ferry made it all so easy._br/_ Our guide Rachel McKinney was excellent. She was very informative and humourus with it. Her organisation of our group_br/_ was very good. Rachel sorted out the lifts for those of us that required them. At the end of the tour she even retrieved my_br/_ bag from the lockers which were organised by her at the start of the visit for all of us that needed them. _br/_ Rachel made this tour 5 star.

A very well organised and informative trip, well worth doing. We especially liked our tour guide Zach Garner, who gave us great detail and plenty of interesting information he had a lovely relaxed and amusing manner, and was good fun - he made the day! Would recommend doing this but allow time to stay on Ellis Island - although there is a lot of walking involved in the tour, there is also time to wander on the island to take in more of the museum, if you wish to, and take a later boat back to Manhattan.
