This was a wonderful way to see our magnificent Lady Liberty. We saw her at dusk. The Tall ship made us feel like the early seekers of a brighter future in America. The crew was wonderful and actually helped a crew of us us experience set sail with our bare hands and then we coached us to take the sails down. The drinks were good.... the day was delightful, sunny, and we had a great breeze. It was Glorious! We are so glad we took this adventure.

We did not sail on the Tall Ship. The directions lead us to the small Schooner, which was great experience. The crew was fantastic, friendly, informative, and on their game. The Captain was a joy to talk with. That's the Boat and Crew. Trying to find the Tall ship was a disaster. I had to call to find directions, which lead us to the smaller Schooner. There needs to be much better directions to the whereabouts of each of the ships.

A pleasant and relaxing way to spend an evening either alone or preferably with friends. No matter where you stand or sit on board there is plenty to see and we passed so close to the Statue of Liberty I was able to get some magical photos as the sun was setting. I've been on various water tours around Manhattan and this particular vessel was my favourite. You can move around if you wish, help raise the sails if that's your thing and take great photos. Great value for money.

This is an amazing experience! Anyone who loves the water and boating will truly appreciate this trip. My only suggestion to make it better is better directions and signs for the slip where the boat is to be met as it is not clear when you get to Battery Park where to go as the slips are not marked by number. We were a little disappointed with the tour. We understand that the crew could have been tired by the time our excursion 7:00 pm, took place but not one historical information was given to the passengers and the only communication that took place between the passengers and crew was when they asked us to help in raising and lowering the sails. Also, we really did not get close to the Statue of Liberty as other tours. The weather was good and both my grandson and I enjoyed a moment of relaxation.

Excellent.. Loved this.. Also did this tour back in June 2011 and though we got more lucky with the weather back then it became cloudy this time round right as we set sail so didn't see the sunset as hoped.. It's the chance you take, it doesn't take away any of the experience of it. I would totally recommend this. The crew are great, the on board bar has a good selection for its size though only has one serving so the line can gets long for most the trip, that's the only negative but it's nothing major.. the 2 toilets are clean but most of all the views are just great and if you get lucky with a clear sky and do see the sunset, it's truly something amazing.

We took the sunset cruise our first night in New York City---it was fantastic! Beautiful views of the city and the Statue of Liberty. The sunset was gorgeous and then as darkness set in to see the 2 beams of light from the twin towers was incredibly touching. The crew and captain were very capable as well as entertaining. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting New York.

We had perfect weather for our sailboat ride out to Lady Liberty. It was smooth sailing (which is good for me since I tend to get a little seasick...) and the crew was friendly and bar staff attentive. My group of 5 found a comfortable spot to admire the views and put our beers down and while the boat was full there was plenty of room to walk around. It was a nice relaxing day out on the water and we admired views of the skyline, Statue of Liberty, various bridges and other boats going by. Be sure to bring a camera! And take a moment to watch the crew hoist the mast - it's quite a feat!

The sailing was nice but I had assumed there would be narration as we sailed around the different point such the 9/11 area. I wanted that for my grandson to have the opportunity to hear about the sites as we sailed. It was a lovely day and the bar drinks were good. I just had hoped for a bit of "narration".

Loved it had a wonderful time and recommend it to everyone. One draw back we arrived just as it was leaving and did t realize there wasn't food on boat. We survived on snacks. Sandwiches would have been a plus.
