The Met Gala exhibit was beautiful! We will definitely return and spend more time.

Wonderful trip. Our ticket was valid for 3 consecutive days and included access toet Brusr and Met Cloisters. We spent 2 full days at the Met and managed to fit in 5 one hour guided tours in the 2 days. Each guide was extremely knowledgeable and full of passion for their subject matter. Fantastic.

No time to see everything--one would need at least 3 days if not more!! The only other museum I have seen that is comparable is The Louvre in Paris. This Met is a must for a New York visit.

This went way beyond our wildest expectations! We saw all we could in a day's time but could easily have spent a week or more to see more and absorb more. We HAVE to come back! Thanks for a really great tour

So much to see, the Met has many collections of work by influential artists, with rooms of classical and modern art. Only had time to visit the Met on 5th Avenue, didn't visit the Met Breuer or Met Cloisters. Great restaurant for lunch not fast food but book or get there early to catch a table.

Amazing works of art. Would probably require a full week to see it all.

Incredible building, amazing collections. You would probably need to visit at least twice to get the full value of the place as there is to much to take in in one visit.

I didn't plan enough time here, you need at least 5 hrs

No problems exchanging the passes. A tremendous amount to see. Only regret is we didn't allow for the necessary 2-3 days. Our schedule only allowed us 4 hours which we used at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Would have liked to be able to visit The Met Breuer and the Met Cloisters. We will purchase tickets next time we are in NYC and allow more time.

Really enjoyed both the Met of art and the Cloisters. One difficulty that really made it difficult to coordinate the 2 in one day was the lack of directions to the cloisters. Ended up getting off at the station before the cloisters, no signs or information outside the park or maps. Asked for directions was advised to go to the next subway stop because we were erroneously advised there was the equivalent of 15 stories of stairs. At the next subway stop at least there was a map however still unclear of how to access the cloisters, asked for directions again and we walked to exactly the same place we started at the front of the park. Once we went into the park, we found the signs. Lucky it was a warm sunny day and we are fit. This cramped our time at the MET of Art and we missed the restaurant there.

Too large to see in one day!!!

A very good experience. Unfortunately a day-long pass is not enough to see the museum.

One of the must see if you are visiting the NYC.

One of the best museums I've been to. Compares to the British Museum, the Cairo Museum and the museums in the capital. Can be very crowded but on the Sunday it was really reasonable. Skip the line access is the way to go.

a bigi mistake to buy ticket the cost at the met was 17 us 34 . there were no line ups, i paid you 45 canadian for nothing indeed i had to wait about 20 minutes to be processed by a supervisor at the met to gain entry

Excellent. Tour. Make sure you wait for a guided tour. Check the schedule. It was well worth it. I spent the entire day and still didn't see it all.

The skip the line was worth the cost but the Museum was very crowded and poorly marked as to where things were, especially when you entered an exhibit. Exits were not clearly marked and we circled back in exhibits several times. This was frustrating especially with the museum being so crowded. We had been told about a rooftop cafe by a 9/11 tour guide. She said it was a must when going to the Met. We could not find it and had to ask 6 different times how to get there. It was as if it was a secret that they wanted to keep. Once we did get up there after an hour of searching on our own and 30 min with employee help we were disappointed to find no tables and very few benches to sit on. Instead the majority of the rooftop was covered by an art exhibit that honestly looked like a run down back alley. We wished we had spent the 3-4 hours elsewhere.

I got to see a highlighted tour of the Met, as well as a lovely tour of the Cloister and its quite pretty gardens the next day. The Cloisters gave me reason to go to Fort Tryon Park, with its arresting views of the Hudson and nearby New Jersey plus the George Washington Bridge.

don't need the skip the line ticket.... you have to receive the ticket again even if you have the etickets...the ticket line was long and very slow workers

The MET is an enormous museum and would certainly take more than one visit to cover the majority of the galleries. The Audio headset was worth it in the long run, but the Skip the Line advantage didn't really mean a whole lot as we had to go through security as with everybody else and present our voucher to the ticket agent to get our admission passes.

So much to see. I recommend spending several days in the museum. The audio tour is well worth the money. Extra info at your own pace.

There is so much to see in this museum. There wasn't really a wait like I expected and we got there at 11 am. I did purchase the audio which you should get. If you don't get the audio, you are looking at something and really don't understand what you're looking at. It gives you insight to the reason behind the creation. I think, because this museum is so big, you really should try and get a tour so you can see the highlights. I did a small tour for the Louvre and it was so worth it because I got to see the most popular pieces. That's what I wish I would have done for this museum as well. I probably didn't cover a quarter of this museum and I was there for 5 hours. The sculptures in the American section were my favorite.

The museum is HUGE! Go with a plan of what you want to see and stick to it - it is easy to get side tracked. We didn't really need the skip the tickets on the day we visited May 3rd as it wasn't that busy but I can imagine that it would be later in the season. Be warned - the food in the cafeteria, whilst very good, is extremely expensive. We paid nearly 70 for 3 sandwiches, drinks, cake and crisps.

A great museum but you have to have a lot of time on your hand to really enjoy the beautiful pieces on display. I recommend that this is done by a person that is well rested and not an exhausted traveller. The skip the line fee can be avoided if you pitch up there at least 40 min. Before the museum opens. The Queues are not that long during this time.
