The Sopranos Sites Tour

New York City, United States of America

Bada-bing, bada-boom! Follow in the footsteps of Tony Soprano during a bus tour of 'The Sopranos' filming sites. If you couldn’t get enough of the hit HBO series, you won't want to leave New York without joining this informative tour through New Jersey. See Pizza Land, the Muffler Man and other sites used in the opening credits; stop at Father Phil’s parish; and sit in the restaurant booth where the final scene was filmed. Upgrade for priority coach seating and better access to the guide, an actor on the set.

Sopranos fans get a real-life glimpse into the filming locations seen on the HBO series during this 4-hour sightseeing tour from NYC to the New Jersey suburb, where Tony Soprano — a Mafia boss played by James Gandolfini — and his mob buddies spent their days and nights.
Hop aboard a comfortable coach in Midtown Manhattan and meet your knowledgeable local guide, an actor who appeared as a stand-in or extra on The Sopranos and shares little-known facts from behind the scenes. Upgrade for priority seating that includes pre-boarding in the first four rows for close access to the guide.
Your coach tour begins in New York and starts out with sites from the show's opening credits, including the exit of the Lincoln Tunnel and the Manhattan skyline. Upon arrival in Jersey, your guide points out the Muffler Man, Pizza Land, the Valley Landscape silo, a featured Tudor house, a building in the center of the Meadowlands that Tony often passed, and the ramp to the Pulaski Skyway seen at the end of every episode.
Rediscover the inner workings of this fictional New Jersey crime family as you check out recognizable locales such as Barone Sanitation. Sit on the steps of the Skyway Diner where Christopher gets shot. See Big Pussy’s auto body shop, visit the Searchlight Diner where he spoke with the FBI, view the back of his house, and glimpse the batting cages used by him, AJ and Kevin. You’ll also take a peek inside Satin Dolls, aka the Bada Bing bar.
Visit locations of majors scenes, from dirty deals to beat-downs, including Carmine’s Funeral Parlor; Party World and Car Wash; La Cibelle’s, used as the locale for Nuovo Vesuvio, Artie Bucco’s restaurant in the show; and St Cecila’s Church (Carmela’s Church), the funeral home used for Carmine’s wake. Additional Sopranos film sites include Father Phil's parish, Harrison High School where AJ dumped pizza boxes into the pool, and Holsten’s — the restaurant where Tony sat during the final scene of the series.
Please note that filming locations are subject to change.

Excellent tour for anybody that is a fan of The Sopranos. Obvious highlights included having a beer in the Bada Bing, visiting the ice cream parlour that featured in the shows controversial ending and meeting the actor who played Vito. The tour is definitely not for kids but that should come as no surprise for anybody thats seen the show.

I've wanted to do this tour for many years but more so as I knew a lot of the locations would change or even vanish over time. Marc was a great tour guide with so much inside information and great humour. He keeps things ticking over on e tour with interesting trivia and quizzes. I had read on other reviews about Joseph R. Gannascoli Vito Spadafore being there at the start of the tour and it was a cool way to kick things off. _br/_ I don't suppose I'd have ever visited New Jersey if it wasn't for this but it made a good impression on me. It was disappointing that the building used for Satriale's Pork Store is now a parking lot but the highlights were visiting Bada Bing Satin Dolls and a chance to sit in the booth from the final scene at Holstens. _br/_ All in all a great day out. We added to the Sopranos theme by eating at the Mulberry Street Bar in Little Italy and a visit to the Tony's house in North Caldwell, which was amazing. _br/_ Highly recommended for Sopranos fans but do it as soon as you can!

So happy to meet Vito Spadafore! I loved that character, so imagine our excitement when we found him there at the beginning of the tour! He was super nice and we took photos with him! _br/_ Overall the tour was great. It was fantastic to have a person who was directly affiliated with the show conduct the tour. He had the information based on direct experience. Loved stopping at the Bada Bing and at the Holsteins!_br/_ Recommended for die-hard Sopranos fans!

Our guide, Marc, was extremely knowledgeable, having acted in the series. We toured so many places of interest, the tour actually lasted longer than 4 hours. I can now take a fresh look at the series, with a different eye. The only disconnect was when booking the tour, the Viator representative told me there would be no place to buy souvenirs. In fact, souvenirs were sold at 4 venues. Had I known this in advance, I would have planned my purchases differently

This tour was really good, saw locations that I wanted to, the Bing, Holstens, town of Kearney, and met Vito before getting on coach! (He charges for this!) only thing I will say is Holstens felt rushed. In 2016 paying private cab to go back to Tony and #39;s house, Holstens and Bing and have more time.

This is a fabulous tour featuring our host, Marc Baron, who did some acting on small scenes in Sopranos. He had extra inside information about the actors and the show. We were taken to most of the recognizable buildings and sites from the show with Marc explaining why the site was chosen. Very recommended.

The tour was brilliant! Would definitely recommend! The tour guide is an actor who worked on set and so had fantastic knowledge of the series and the actors. Would recommend paying for the premium seats as you're at the front and so visibility of all sites is better.

A good tour-we enjoyed seeing the places where The Sopranos was filmed, then seeing the appropriate clip on the screen was excellent. Finding out all the inside info re mistakes etc was very entertaining. A good tour but I did not find the actor very friendly who, at the start of our tour, was selling cheap souvenirs for a very elevated price. Maybe it was because we never bought anything...!

We went on this trip exactly one week ago, As big sopranos fans we thought this was brilliant._br/_ Marc our Tour guide was fantastic and really kept us well informed. Loved all the extra,s we were told about the show too._br/_ One thing I would have changed is that instead of spending 20 mins at the nightclub satin dolls, (Bada bing) is that we would have had a 5 min look around and spent the time better in the ice cream parlour/diner called Holstens, where the last scene was shot._br/_ We only got a few minutes in here, to order a sandwich and grab a photo etc, would have been nice to have had a little longer here and swapped that time for the time in Bada bing.

If you love the Sopranos and are in NY you'd be mad not to book this tour. Great value for money and four hours of inside info and a real memory trip to some of the great locations on the show. Our guide (Marc Baron) would have been worth the money for just his background knowledge.
