Great day trip to DC. Well coordinated so we could cover a lot of ground. Tour guide had difficulty with the PA system on the bus so wasn't able to explain much during the ride anyhow a good one.

Traveling with my daughter all I can say is that the experience was amazing, we used viator 4 years ago and was very pleased with the trips we booked then in Newyork city. From being picked up at 6.15 on a snowy morning to being dropped off at 9.30 everything was perfect,our guide was a lady I can't pronounce her name but she was fantastic and made us all laugh. Our driver was careful on what must have been very slippy roads, Washington is a must for anyone thinking about it.Dont hesitate.

This was a fabulous, but very long day. 4.5 hrs travel there and back in the bus, with not a lot to see on the way. Given the time constraints, not much time anywhere in DC, but good oppportunities to get photos of the incredible monuments. Breakfast and dinner stops at Delaware Welcome Centre, and late lunch stop at museums, very limited options for specific food requirements eg gluten free - would recommend taking your own if possible. Guide was very good. Got home to NY about 9pm with good traffic

Our Guide was fantastic and yes we had a split group of English and Latin but she dealt with this very easily and made everyone comfortable.My only complaint was that when in Washington I would have liked more time given for whatever exhibits we wanted to see but I understand there were time issues.

Washington is a must-see city.. , but you have to spend at least 2 days. For a quick visit this trip is fine.. you go to the major places like the white house, the congress and the Lincoln Memorial but you can also see some places from the window of the bus during the trip. There is not enough time to enjoy the monuments but you have enough time to take some photos. The bus was ok, nothing special, no usb charger and for me the wifi wasn't working. Our guide was ok.., just a guide explaining the very basics but she knows the city very well if you ask her. Also the sound system of the bus was not good. _br/_ 5 stars for Washington - 3 stars for the tour operator.

Although really looking forward to this tour I was a little concerned with the 15hr duration. I didn't need to be as the day went quite quickly and very smoothly. The bus trip was fine and we had a nice little stop for food around half way. Our guide was a lovely lady who was very entertaining. We had the perfect weather although in Winter and Washington did not disappoint. Arlington cemetery was very moving and it was great to see the White House etc. We went to the Indian museum which was OK but the food was terrible so try and avoid eating here. The space museum was very interesting and worth a visit. Entry was free which was very nice. If you intend to stay in New York this tour is a must as you have Times Square etc. then the luxury of seeing the capital.

Everything we went to was good however there was Spanish and English on our group so our tour guide would say the English info on the bus before we got the the attraction and then the Spanish when we were there, so me and my partner would be piecing the info together once infront on the attraction!

A very good and worthwhile trip made especially valuable by the guide. She a real pity we have forgotten her name was informative about historical background and the sites, very pleasant, humorous, made the tour feel special, and was good at keeping the tour to schedule. This was a good achievement because the tour includes a lot in the long but interesting day. Our driver also made great efforts to help us see as much as possible. There was enough time to eat, and a range of museum and street eating options, at the main Washington stop. However its inevitably not possible to fit in too much during this stop, from the huge amount there is to see, so thinking ahead about priorities including how much time to spend eating is probably a good idea.

Enjoyed the tour and saw the sights of Washington- Laura was an excellent guide and very helpful. Was rather nervous about being late and missing the bus ! But no-one was late as we were reminded at every stop but timing given was clear and the trip well organised. George the driver did a great job considering the drive back was torrential rain._br/_ You can charge your phone on the coach but need an American adapter to plug in. WiFi was available on the coach also.

The simple fact is there is 8-9 hours at best travelling on a bus involved in this day tour with 4-5 hours in Washington. Just over an hour at the Smithsonian was insufficient time and meal options there were limited.

Laura did a great job of providing tid bits of information along the way. You don’t have a lot of time at each stop to really see everything but you get to see it all. One recommendation I have is add Tomb if the Unknown Soldier to Arlington Cemetery stop. Veterans will appreciate this!

I would not recommend this tour for anyone who is physically disabled. My husband has difficulty in walking and uses a walker to get about. As soon as the coached stopped the guide was off with the able bodied passengers and left my husband behind. Being an ex-veteran he missed out in seeing the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, The Vietnam War Memorial and most of the Arlington Cemetery the Lincoln Memorial and when we were a few minutes late getting back to the coach the guide would not take my husbands disability into account and complained that we were holding things up._br/_ On a couple of occasions he had to stay on the coach whilst the Guide took the rest of the passengers off to show them the White House and The Congress Building . I don't know what would have happened if someone in a wheelchair wanted to go on this tour because people with disabilities are not accounted for.

This was a very good, if a bit 'busy' day! Tour started at 6.30 in the morning in Time Square, a short-ish walk from our hotel, and then a comfortable 4 hour, air conditioned, bus ride to Washington. this included a stop for refreshments, and loo break, half way there._br/_ On arrival, we started with a visit to Arlington Cemetery, seeing the graves of the Kennedys, and the many lines of Military headstones, the Lincoln Memorial, the Iwo Jima Memorial, the Korean War memorial, and the Vietnam memorial, in 'blowtorch' heat, approx. 37 degrees!_br/_ From there to the Whitehouse, and other areas of the city, before a visit to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum for lunch, with its excellent facilities, for approx 1 1/4 hours._br/_ Then returning back to New York about 9.15pm._br/_ Credit must be given to Jorge', our tour guide, who, super efficiently guided an eclectic mix of nationalities around the city all day, like herding cats!, whilst giving us the benefit of his encyclopaedic knowledge. A pleasure to be with._br/_ All in all, recommended

Unfortunately on the day we went it was raining and no rain coats were provided. Also ensure that the bus you are assigned to speck the same language as you. 8 of us were changed to a Spanish specking bus at the last moment and unfortunately we were unable to understand the guide when he translated in both English and Spanish. Lunch is at a museum that has free entry that all the tours visit that only has McDonalds with limited food choice but due to the volume of people there at the same time you don't have enough time to have lunch and visit the museum. I would suggest that the tour eat somewhere else then visit the museum.

Tour is good but when boarding the bus and you are disable make sure you ask for front seats...sign is there but very small. We did not see it and when we did I told the tour guide...even he was taking 2 disabled seats. Tour company should look into this because it sure is an offense when a normal person is taking disabled seats and the disable has to seat way back.

This was an amazing day!! It was a very very long day and very rushed to fit everything in but was well worth the effort. The Arlington Cemetery was high on my priority list and I wished we could have spent more time there. I would definitely recommend this tour. We saw so much and the tour guide really knew her history! Her knowledge of all the places we visited was amazing. My only complaint was the continual warnings of being left behind if we were late for our meeting times!!

First off , I am delighted we went to Washington and saw all the fascinating places of interest . That said ,it was an extremely long day . We were at the meeting place before the requested time of 6.15 am for a departure time of 6.30. However we were kept waiting until 6.45 by a delayed group which in turn meant we got delayed by an accident en route._br/_ Our tour guide , Laura was extremely efficient and knowledgeable but we found her manner quite abrasive and she seemed very tense on the way to Washington. We were not happy at being pressured into leaving our bags on the bus at Arlington Cemetery. a few people were very stressed at the idea and Laura was very unsympathetic. One woman decided not to leave the bus._br/_ Terrance , the driver was not in a good mood and as we arrived back on the bus he did not hide the fact that he was having a loud argument on the phone with someone. He also lost his way twice upon arrival in Washington.The last straw was as we approached NY, Laura made a lengthy speech in English and Spanish requesting a tip and even suggested an appropriate amount. We took many tours while in NY and nobody ever directly asked for a tip._br/_ My polite husband got out his money and as he left thanked Terrence who growled leave it on the seat with the other heap of money ._br/_ The final matter was the bus itself , clearly rented from some other company and not suitable for the length of the journey. The seats were cramped and uncomfortable.Laura made another speech about what we could and could not do in the toilet at the back of the bus which meant everyone was too embarrassed to use it._br/_ Washington was beautiful but I would not use that company again.

Fantastic day, very long but great. Our tour guide was good but after going on other day trips splitting up into nationalities would have been better and providing another guide would have worked better. Just another thing the passengers in front of us reclined their seats for the whole trip and left us with very little space, when we made a comment they ignored us. It should be mentioned to respect other passengers and only recline if necessary.
