World Trade Center Tour with Optional 9/11 Museum Ticket

New York City, United States of America

The World Trade Center once stood tall and prominent, one of the world’s largest financial complexes and a symbol of New York City. This New York City walking tour takes you around Ground Zero to explore both the past and future of the World Trade Center. Visit the Ground Zero site and Financial district including the New York Stock Exchange, Wall Street and the Federal Reserve Bank. For a comprehensive look into the events of September 11, add admission to the 9/11 Memorial Museum. Whichever option you choose, this tour offers an unforgettable experience as you hear stories of the heroes of 9/11 and how New York City rose from the ashes of tragedy to flourish once more.

2.5-hour World Trade Center and Financial District Walking Tour
Meet your guide within walking distance of the Ground Zero site, where you'll embark on a 2.5-hour journey into the bravery, passion, and tragedy of 9/11. Your guide will share key facts, illuminating events and heartbreaking stories of the tragic day while weaving through the various attractions within the World Trade Center area.

As you begin your tour at St Paul’s Chapel, you'll explore surrounding New York sites such as the grave of Alexander Hamilton, the first US Treasury Secretary; the soaring towers of Wall Street and the Canyon of Heroes; The New York Stock Exchange and Federal Reserve Bank; Federal Hall, where George Washington was sworn in as president; and the renowned Trinity Church and its storied past. See the American Express Eleven Tears Memorial, Winter Garden and, of course, the Ground Zero site. Your guide will take you to the 9/11 Memorial site, built on the exact site where the twin towers once stood. Visit the twin reflecting pools on which the names of the nearly 3,000 victims of the September 11, 2001, and February 26, 1993, atrocities are inscribed. You will have ample opportunity for reflection and contemplation and are welcome to bring flowers or tributes to place by the 9/11 Memorial site.

3-hour World Trade Center Walking Tour including 9/11 Museum Tickets (limited availability)
On the enhanced 3-hour tour, you will see all the sights of the 2.5-hour tour plus a preview of the 9/11 Memorial museum with timed tickets to the museum. The Museum is an underground museum which has various artifacts of September 11, 2001, and pieces of steel from the Twin Towers, such as the final steel, which was the last piece of steel to leave Ground Zero in May 2002. Exhibits in the museum include 23,000 images, 10,300 artifacts, and nearly 2,000 oral histories of the dead provided by friends and loved ones, in addition to over 500 hours of video.

Come and witness the site of a world-changing event and feel the presence of bravery and tragedy all at once. The World Trade Center Walking Tour offers New York visitors an up-close-and-personal tour of the World Trade Center site and a look at how it has risen from the tragedy of 9/11.

This tour was not very informative and I regret wasting the time. spent on this tour when it could easily be done independently. The guide concentrated too much on Wall Street and not enough on the 911 memorial or World Trade Center. I was very disappointed. Do not waste your money, instead purchase a ticket to the museum and listen to the audio which is way more interesting! Would not recommend it.

We did this tour in 2012 when security was quite tight, we've returned this year 2017 and you can now walk round the memorial without going through security. Our tour guide was excellent and shared with us her experience of September 11th._br/_ Make sure you visit the American Express memorial on this tour, it's an amazingly touching memorial, which brought most of our tour to tears.

My tour was changed from Thursday to Friday, due to no other bookings on the Thursday. The tour of the World Trade Center and American Express Building was very detailed and interesting. However, I understood that this tour was also to include the Financial District so I was disappointed that the tour ended after two hours 220 pm to 420 pm, except for those continuing on to the Optional Museum ticket. I questioned if we were supposed to visit the financial District and was pointed in that direction, if I wished to go there on my own. However, the portion of the tour that we did was excellent!

Unfortunately, this tour was awful. The tour guide arrived late and was sloppily dressed in dirty pants, rumpled shirt. He acted strange, stopping at frequent intervals to pick up trash! He had very limited knowledge of the subject of the tour and often seemed to be distracted. When we asked a question, he either gave a nebulous answer, or looked it up on his cell phone, or asked a street vendor for the answer. I hesitate to give this tour even one star...we were very disappointed.

Definitely go to the Museum. I would bypass the walking tour. It was lengthy and we did not see much or learn anything that was worth the money. If there was something you really wanted to see, do it on your own time. It could have been our guide as well. He didn't seem very interested in the information he was giving us on the spots we visited. I would have rather spent the time at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.

Our tour guideAnn Desmond was excellent in providing us information about the 911 disaster and what has transpired since that date. She gave the timeline as to what happened on that day. She was in the area and had firsthand knowledge of the tragedy. I would recommend Ann Desmond as a tour guide for any tour you offer.

Beautifully constructed with much thought put behind it. I loved the tree that survived and the Memorial with the names and the lovely fountain is amazing. The constructed DOVE is breathtaking and so meaningful. It all ties together beautifully. The entire area far exceeded our expectations!

I have filled this out previously but will try again as my computer keeps sending this request to me. I was VERY impressed with your Tour and your Tourguide, Annie Desmond. I especially enjoyed being in a small group and having Annie tell us about her personal experiences.

Great walking tour with a lady who had first hand knowledge of the 9/11 tragedy, and the way she told the sad story of that sorry day had me in tears. The Museum is also a must visit

We were supposed to have a tour of the World Trade Center but apparently they had a substitute who instead took us on an architectural tour. People kept leaving until there were just three people left who also left the guide and went over to the World Trade Center but did not get to go on a tour inside the tower. Very disappointing and doubt any of us will trust Viator to book a tour. 177.00 down the drain._br/_ I definitely would not recommend Viator.

1 hour tour around area took 2 hours - too much detail. No flexibility. Could not go to 911 museum without whole group so sat outside and waited long time.

If you go to NYC you have to go to the World Trade Center Tour. It's very informative and well planned.

We didn't think the trip was good value especially when the tour guide was expecting a tip. The others in the group were of the same opinion as ourselves. We could have walked around Wall Street and the Trade centre site ourselves and read the information that was out there. It was a great experience to have been there, so many memories.

Very informative walking tour of Wall Street and 9/11. The 2:30pm tour left enough time for the museum. We left the museum at 7:30pm closing time and took 8pm lift to One World. It was a beautiful sunset. We didn and #39;t realise that the memorial fountains closed at 9pm but we took a few pictures.

We took a tour with Fred, a superb local who could tell us so much about history and present. We have been to NYC 5 years ago, but this tour was something we missed on our agenda before. Fred was very knowledgeable and answered any question we had. Wish Id had a history teacher like Fred when I was in school. Great tour, a must see!

I had been looking forward for years to experience 911. We calmly greeted the guide in the nearby church, and she told us her story so we could relate as ordinary people to another ordinary person who experienced an extraordinary event. She was amazing. We were able to see so much because of her knowledge, and because we had a small group, luckily. Highly recommend the tour and this guide!

Monica was great and knew her info thats for sure! However the tour did not cover everything described. It did not cover The New York Stock Exchange, Wall Street and the Federal Reserve Bank as described on the tour. It did cover Ground Zero and the memorials as well as the World Trade Center area. As we were pressed for time, we did not do the museum. Great tour, just didn't cover the ground I thought it was going to cover.

Annie was so nice and knowledgeable. She shared her personal experience of the horror on 9/11 and then took us around to show how New York rebuilt itself inspite of what happened. We visited the memorial pools the new trade center and the underground tunnel. She had so much factual info that enhanced the overall value of the tour.

Excellent tour by experienced guide. Unusual in that we were the only two people on the tour and hence it became a personal tour. Very good service from Fred the guide. Would definitely recommend this tour - and Fred.

My wife and I took the World Trade Center walking tour. Our guide, Fred, was knowledgeable, interesting, and entertaining. At any point during the tour, whenever somebody had a question about what we were seeing, Fred would provide a fascinating answer. He arrived at the meeting point on time and did not rush the tour, despite the bad weather. This tour was a highlight of our trip and I absolutely recommend it and our excellent guide.

I give this tour 32 thumbs up and 5 Stars. Our tour guide Rob could not be more informative, enthusiastic and fun to be with. The 3 hours went so quickly yet I learned so much from this city that I have lived in all of my life. I already recommended this tour and Rob to several of my friends and hope to do another tour soon. Thank you! Rob is a smart and funny gem!

Our tour guide took us to many interesting sights in the financial district, explaining the history and sharing facinating facts about them. She also shared her knowledge and her own experience of what happened on that dreadful date of 9/11. Ground Zero was a touching place to visit. After the tour we wanted to dine in an area of the town that she had show us. Our guide was kind enough to take us to that area because it w as difficult to find. I would highly recommend this tour.

Wed, October 22 - 2:30 PM was a delightful time with 10 walkers. Our guide made it a History of NY city tour, and we loved every minute. He walked us to the river, told us things that have happened in the area, showed us new buildings and landscaping. He also gave us personal help in finding the name on the wall of one we knew who had died in the tour.

The tour guide was very informative. Can't remember her name. She took us through St. Paul's Chapel and through the new buildings. We even had a complimentary cookie in the bakery shop. The tour ended at the fountains. All in all a great tour and good price.

We were not impressed at all. You advertised it as a 2 and one half hour tour and it was a walk from the church to the survivor tree and she told us a couple interesting things and said we are done now. That was a total of 1 hour and 15 min. .. We could have found out everything by just walking there ourselves. _br/_ Was a real disappointment.
