Travel by elevator deep into the Niagara Gorge where you can get as close as 20 feet from the falls on the Cave of Winds trip. Are you brave enough to stand on Hurricane Deck? Ascend to the extended viewing deck of the Prospect Observation Tower and let Niagara's mist kiss your cheek. Don a souvenir raincoat and hop aboard the world famous Maid of the Mist boat ride. Sail past the American and Bridal Veil Falls before coming to a dramatic stop inside the mouth of the roaring Canadian Horseshoe Falls.
This tour is seasonal and operates from May through to October.

This was a great way to experience the Falls, our guide Pat was awesome, he was entertaining and knowledgeable, he made the trip more memorable. We saw the classic Falls sights and learned about the history, the timing was perfect not rushed and no hanging about and the Maid of the Mist really is a unique experience. The best way to see the falls. Pick up and drop off at our hotel. No standing in line for tickets. Our tour guide Pat was knowledgeable without being boring. The falls was spectacular. You will get wet, but worth it.

Worth every penny! Awesome experience! Maid of the Mist was one of the coolest things I've ever done. Our guide, Dan, was great. He made everyone comfortable and was well prepared for the tour. This was our first purchase with Viator we purchased 3 packages for this trip. Not a disappointment in the batch! This tour was the one that should be the center of a trip to the falls. We didn't wait in line for tickets and Dan knew what to do at every point. the Niagra sandles were a statement,trust me, wear them. leave some room in the backpack to put your shoes in. Bridal Falls is a lot of steps. Hey, if an over weight 57 year old ex smoker and her equally heavy 68 year old hubby can make it,you'll do ok. We went to the top! You will get wet! This tour was definitely worth the money spent. Having a guide drive you around and get you in and out of each attraction as quickly as possible was very convenient. Not to mention, I learned a lot of fun facts along the way. The Maid of the Mist boat ride and the Cave of the Winds were both very cool! You will get wet on both, so it's good they provide ponchos for those attractions. Our tour guide was Pat and he was very personable and respectful of our time at each stop.

Good variety of interesting stops on tour. The power and beauty of the falls is breathtaking. Best part was walking up stairs close to one of the falls. Maid of the Mist boats that are close to the falls provide wonderful panorama. The high tourist season made the boats too crowded...but the logistics of loading/unloading 100's of tourists was impressive._br/_ The tour guide, Pat R was a proudly brash Brooklyn guy, whose aggressive humor was a put-off to my personal southern culture style.Signs in the tour bus, in three languages, asking for tips was tacky. He knew enough about the subjects, but he wasn't particularly enchanted with the content of the tour, as better Viator guides have been.

This tour was awful. I have never been on a tour where it was the tour guides job to simply stand in a 3.5 hour line along with the group. The tour was supposed to be a 4-5 hour tour...literally 3.5 hours of the tour was spent either standing in line at the cave of the winds or waiting on the bus at the cave of the winds for the rest of the group who couldn't even be bothered to show up on time. 45 min after the assigned time We made it to the spot where we would take the boat ride and there was another 45-1 hour line that we had to wait in. We walked off the tour at that point. We only had 1 day and more than half was spent standing in line with our guide. I am unsure why the tour does not include the tickets, shoes, and any other items we would need as soon as we board the bus. Shoe sizes are a simple thing to add to the tour form. I am also unsure of why there is not a separate line for people who have paid for a tour guide and a time specific tour to enter the attractions through. Our guide was Dan, and Dan had zero control over our group. The lack of organization, preparation and communication was part of the cause for the delays. He allowed the group to run the tour, not him running the tour. I am not sure of the policy your company has regarding a large group on a time sensitive tour having delays caused by other tour members simply not showing back up on time...but it needs to be addressed. I believe if he had a phone and had entered his groups cell numbers ahead of the tour...he could have texted times, places and any updates to the group. It was a total waste of our day. I would not recommend this tour to anyone. I can stand in line on my own and if I had my own vehicle I would not have been held hostage on that bus waiting on inconsiderate people holding up the rest of the group, watching Dan run around like a chicken with its head cut off.

The overall tour is good including the pick-up offered. The tour guide was very good, kind and hlpful but what is not justified is the price. The maid of the mist, cave of the winds all costs not more than 50. But the trip costs about 95 which in my view is very high. The cost of this tour has to be brought down to 70 and the time spent in the power plants will have to be increased. _br/_ I would think that this should be one full day program instead of 3 or 4 hours considering the price.

Friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. But don't go to Niagara in the winter. The boat and heli rides are shut and several of the outdoor viewpoints are closed due to ice. Do go see the whirlpool and do the tower at night when they turn on the lights.

The Niagra Falls Tour and Maid in the Mist was fantastic, have been waiting to do this since I saw it in a film as a child. Niagara Falls is a beautiful sight and James Egan made it fun and interesting to see. He was very knowledgeable with many facts and stories. He took the time with us to be sure we saw everything and had photo opportunities. We were able to see much more than we could have on our own. This is a tour you don't want to miss. The tour bus picks you up at your hotel, takes you to the boat landing area. Your take the boat trip to both falls, getting rather wet on the way! then you get to spend time on the Observation Deck, which is excellent for photo ops. After that, a trip a few minutes away to Whirlpool Rapids. then you get driven to the Cave of the Winds, which lets you out right under Niagara Falls. You will get soaked on the hurricane deck I watched people get knocked over - the deck is aptly named! but it's completely fun!
