On this small-group wine tour, sample the best of this region, famous for its extremely picturesque location near the shores of Lake Ontario and for the variety of delicious wines that are produced. During your tour, discover a range of wineries, from boutique to large production, and taste a number of exquisite varietals.
Morning Tour: Begin your 3-hour wine tour with a visit to one of the largest and most well-known wineries in the area. Here, you will have a full guided tour, from vineyard to tasting room, where you will then enjoy a full tasting of the vineyard’s wines. Then continue your tour to two boutique wineries and taste a variety of wines, including Ontario's famous ice wine. At the last winery, you will be served a delicious cheese tasting to accompany your final set of tastings.
Afternoon Tour: After pickup from your hotel in either Niagara-on-the-Lake or Niagara Falls, Ontario, your 4-hour wine tour begins with a full vineyard-to-tasting-room tour at one of the region’s largest and most well-known wineries. After your wine tasting here, continue to three small, family-owned wineries that are considered hidden gems of Niagara-on-the-Lake wine country. At all of the wineries, taste a large range of wines, including Ontario's famous ice wine. At one of the wineries you'll be served a specially prepared cheese tasting to pair with your tasting so you can see the relationship between wine and cheese.
Thank you to our wonderful tour guide Pete! We had seven friends / colleagues attending the Niagara Falls Wine Tour. Started off with pick right at our hotel, on time and ready to go. A nice tour along the Niagara Parkway, sharing history and points of interest. Pete is very knowledgeable. We visited four wineries of various sizes, and each one was unique and shared their stories. Tasting at each location with information on the wine, food pairings and suggested servings. The hosts at each location were also super friendly and accommodating. A great day for all of us and would highly recommend this tour.

Brian was our driver/guide and did a tremendous job! It was an intimate tour as there were only 4 of us in the afternoon. Brian called ahead to verify our pick-up location and to let us know he would there in a couple of minutes. Once in the van,Brian provided a brief rundown of the wineries we would visit.

This was a wonderful tour. I booked it for three people to give us something new to do in the area. It is a great way to see more of Niagara besides the Falls. The Grape Escape is very easy to find. Our tour guide, Dianne, was very knowledgable about the wineries and the area. She also has a wonderful, friendly personality. We went to three very different wineries, enjoyed some great varieties of wine and good cheese.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Niagara's wine country. Our guide picked us up at their office and there was about 9 of us in the van. At each stop, our driver/ guide told us some details about each winery and then we went to our tasting. I was impressed by how personable our guide was. He asked us questions about ourselves, drawing us into conversation with him while waiting in line, etc. each winery we visited was a unique experience. Bring bottled water on this tour, I would highly recommend this tour when you're in the area.

You have to do a wine trip when your in Niagara we picked an afternoon trip as you get picked up from the hotel this is worth the extra money. You get loads of tasters make sure you have a big breakfast that day your need it. You get to taste the ice wine but the price is very different in each winery. Also wine is much different in the wineries. We bought back one bottle as I was afraid it might break in the case. You can pay extra for extra tasters but you do get loads. The cheeses tasting is nice but it won't fill you up._br/_ We loved this trip so pleased we did it.

This tour was the highlight of our two day stay in Niagara Falls. It was so enjoyable. You go to a nice amount of wineries that have wine that are not normally found in stores. That really propelled us to buy from them! Me and my boyfriend LOVED the icewine. We ended up bringing two bottles back! Our tour guide was Roger and he was absolutely the friendliest and most informative tour guide! I wuld highly recommend doing this tour if you are in the area! The tour consisted of four winery visits with an in depth tour at one destination. Very generous wine tastings were offered at each winery while only one offered cheese pairings which was less than anticipated. You should definitely go on a full stomach whuch I wish we had known to do.

Very Very fun and was a great experience for me since it was my first vineyard and winery trip! We made three stops and all three stops were fun with plenty nice tasting wine flowing. The cheese at Pondview Estate Winery is very good and tasty. This was a great tour and Dennis the tour guide was well versed about wine and this tour and I would recommend it for any and all. Great tour, great way to visit some of Niagara's finest wineries. We did the afternoon tour with hotel pick-up and drop-off, and that service alone was worth it! Our driver, Paul, was very friendly and accommodating - his wealth of knowledge, not only in the local wineries but in the history of the area itself, made our experience all the more pleasurable! We tried all kinds of wine and icewine and learned more about the winemaking process and how to properly taste wine. Only thing that I would recommend : pack some snacks! Hard to sip on wine all afternoon without any food... cheese tasting was great, but definitely not enough for a group!

We can't recommend this tour highly enough. Our guide was David: his knowledge of the NOTL area was extensive. During the trip, he gave us an overview of the history of the NOTL area including the 1812 War with the US, details of the Underground Railway that saw slaves from arose the border offered refuge, and the raising of the Polish Blue army in WW1. He was also well-informed about the local wineries, offering insights into wine styles and winery practices. An all-round gracious host for the afternoon. The tour was well-organised with staff at each winery ready to give a rundown on their winery and wines. Highly recommended.

While the tour in itself was good. I will never book through viator again. Booked the day before. They could not confirm within the 12 hours promised. Called. Told me to call at 8 am right when we had to leave in the morning to go to the excursion. Ridiculous. Need more time to know/ plan for traffic not 5 mins before we had to leave. The confirmation email came in at 545 am that morning. Right. Not booking through you again.

Enjoyed the tour...van was way to small for 6 adults and the driver though people in the back were very uncomfortable. Unfortunately we did not enjoy the wineries that were chosen either, but that was just personal taste. and they vary. Commentary, timing, friendliness were all wonderful.

They tour guide was very friendly and helpful. He was very good when one of the patrons had a health incident and the parameds had to be called. The wineries were OK and the staff at each of them were very friendly. Having a lot of experience over the years with wine and wineries the winery tour was not all that interesting.
