The USS Arizona Memorial is the final resting place of the 1,777 crew members who lost their lives on December 7, 1941, during the attack on Pearl Harbor. The national memorial commemorating the attack which thrust the United States into World War II spans the mid-portion of the sunken battleship.
Pearl Harbor tickets take you to the Visitor Center to see artifacts from the attack, plus film and footage of the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack, before boarding the Navy launch to cross Pearl Harbor to the Arizona Memorial.

One can not go to Honolulu and go to Pearl Harbor! The lines there can get long and they some times run out of tickets for the Memorial. So booking a tour is the way to go for sure. This tour also included a trip up to The Punchbowl. What a beautiful and very humbling day.

The bus was 1 hour late. I understand that it was Martin Luthur King day but this should have come as no surprise as it does come every year. Then the bus broke down and our time at Pearl Harbour was cut very short barely making the Arizona Memorial presentation. Recommend this tour - no!!

Keya and Jackson were great but the captain Travis was much less so. In fact as we went to pass another boat the Maui Kai(?) he pulled his pants down. We had several families with children on the trip. It was pretty disappointing.

Trip was informative, allowed us enough time to see highlights of all areas. Guide Clay Kallay a local filled us in on local information. Little expensive for a $7.50 US enterance fee at Pearl Harbour and a drive around the punch bowl road. City tour was reall just the return trip to drop passengers off at hotels.

Well worth the experience. I've seen this memorial 40 years ago, but this time it was different. I'm old now and the Arizona Memorial was very emotional to say the least. I've never been to Punchbowl, but it was very beautiful and moving also. I would recommend doing both because it's worth it and doesn't cost much more than to do the Arizona Memorial alone. Highly recommend this tour.

We were very much looking forward to visiting Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial! The museum at Pearl Harbor was very moving and we enjoyed it very much, although I did feel a bit rushed to get to the theater for our scheduled presentation time. Then when we got into line for the theater we were told that because of a high tide, we were not going to be able to take the boat out to the Arizona! They said that the boats they use cannot line up properly when the tide is high. I can't tell you how truly disappointing that was! It seems to me that they should not have sold tickets to that particular showing - They really need to solve that problem - If the boats they are using cannot line up properly during high tide - they need to find a boat that does.

Viator is a little bit like Trivago in that they coordinate a variety of tour companies which allows you to compare prices and sightseeing . We chose Viator for this reason , ending up with a company called Polynesian Adventure Tours. Viator supplied us with a list of pick up locations - our one being the Aston Waikiki Beach, a short walk of 100 meters from our hotel. _br/_ The bus was on time with about about 15 others on board. Our driver, Tommy was excellent - good knowledge, humorous and a careful driver.Through no fault of Viator or the tour company our trip to the USS ARIZONA memorial was reduced to a boat ride around the memorial as the wind was too strong to board . This part of the tour is totally controlled by the US Navy so safety came first._br/_ The remainder of the tour around Honolulu was great - well worth the 40.00 USD for a 4 and a 1/2 hour trip._br/_ I have no hesitation in using Viator again when planning a trip on Oahu

The actual Tour of the Arizona Memorial was impressive, informative and moving. The down side was a inept bus company providing the transportation. As per instructions I called to confirm and was told where to meet and at what time. We were at the designated place early. When the bus was 15 minutes late I called the same local number and was told we where not at the correct place and to wait the driver will be there shortly. The bus came 45 minutes late and then the driver apologized to the other people for OUR mistake. On the return trip he announced the hotels at each stop, never mentioning our hotel or stop. There were 7 in our group we all couldn't have missed this info. Then he once again criticized us and said we would have to walk back he wasn't going to double back to where we got on. The company was Polynesian Adventures. The driver was exceptionally rude and the dispatch person gave out bad information.

There's not much to say that hasn't already been said. This is an awesome memorial and tribute to the many that lost their lives. A must see when in Honolulu. Seeing the USS Arizona and thinking of those entombed is very touching.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He made the trip to Pearl Harbor very personal by relating the fear the residents of Hawaii in 1941 felt, to the fears felt on 9/11. He was also very respectful of the historic sites we visited. He also was also great in explaining the Hawaiian culture.

The Arizona Memorial is a moving and educational experience, however our 5 stars is for our guide. We unfortunately can't recall her name we are bad with names but she was a native Hawaiian lady who's personal insights and stories about the islands she loves were wonderfully informative and thought provoking. I wondered if she was a school teacher in the past as she was such a well organised pro. Turns out she was an ex-accountant! I could have listened to her all day. What an asset to your company.

Great tour guide with 30 years of experience and lots stories to share. Some of them were really touching! I enjoyed this trip so much even though I am not US citizen. Honolulu is so busy, I'm glad we got to see various highlights this way. Our driver Keono ?--should have written it down! was so entertaining and informative--yes some of his jokes were corny but he told them sooo well!! firstly.conivenent hotel pickup.and the introduction to our host..who made us feel right at home from the start.bus trip great.the knowledge .our guide portrayed on the trip.was very help ful..seeing where the Hawaiian peope lived.a tour through the housing area..the punchbowl area.the cemetary.flame of remembrance...and the many beautiful homes.and buildings.time at Pearl harbour good.a very well run organization..food well below par..but a great trip/would.. certainly..recomend..

Pearl Harbour itself was fantastic, the Arizona Memorial was incredibly moving and there was lots to see however we had nowhere near enough time there, only about an hour in total apart from the Memorial experience itself. We wasted over half an hour going round in circles picking people up in the morning we had to pay for a taxi to the Ala Moana Hotel to be picked up when the bus drove right past the Cruise Terminal and could have picked us up there so not impressed by that point. There were also people from Queen Elizabeth who had to do the same. Most of the sightseeing around Honolulu could have been condensed to allow more time at Pearl Harbour and the other real disappointment was that we didn't even stop for a few minutes at Punchbowl but drove in and straight out, I specifically booked this trip as I thought we could see it properly. Even 10 minutes for photos would have been better than nothing. If you want to see the sights i would suggest doing it yourself so you are not constantly rushed or book a full day tour. Disappointed.
