The full day tour was fun for our family of 4 Dad, Mom, two daughters 22 and 16. We did the movie tour, Tropical gardens/fish pond tour, and ATV. They were all amazing. We agreed the Tropical Garden/Fish pond was the most interesting and unexpected fun. Ursula was our guide and was fantastic! Don't expect a flower tour but you do see some amazing flowers it was about the food plants and ancient Hawaiian life. Very fascinating. We got to try samples of star fruit and crack open fresh macadamia nuts.

This tour is an absolute must for anyone going to the Island. Not only is the experience amazing the people there are top-notch and super friendly, knowledgeable and professionals. I would even do this tour again if I went to Oahu.

I personally think this is a must do in Hawaii! Breathtaking views and scenery! All the guides have extensive knowledge of the ranch and have such a love and care so much for it, it's really nice. We did the horse riding, 800yr old Fishpond and also the movie tours - the fishpond was my unexpected favourite out of the bunch - I found it really interesting and the most beautiful views. The buffet lunch which is included in the package isn't fantastic though so you may need snacks.

We took the adventure package that included jungle adventure ride, movie set tour, and 1-hr ATV ride. We we happy with everything, including lunch. What was especially nice is that we didn't have to worry about scheduling our day it was taken care of for us very efficiently and the timing was spot on. We loved the preserve and the great views we were able to capture with our cameras. Pickup process was professionally handled and we had a great time. Disclosure: our least favorite portion was the movie sets, but only by comparison with the rest. Everything was great and well done! Kualoa Ranch is beautiful but this day tour wasn't great. You catch a bus to the ranch and are herded into groups where you select what activities you want to do and are given a 'timetable for the day'. All activities seem rather rushed and there was dozens of buses full of tourists wandering. When I think of a ranch... this is not exactly what I had pictured in my mind. Lovely corner of the world but very commercialised. If you really want to visit, rent a car and come on your own so you can come and go as you please.

We had a great time on the full-day Kualoa Ranch Adventure, with just one exception. First the good, we chose to do the jungle tour and the movie set tour, and paid the extra bit to add in a horseback ride. The best part of the entire day was the jungle tour. It was fun and there was LOTS of pretty scenery. There was even a movie set in the jungle. The movie set tour was also good, though I thought it could have been made better if the guide had photos from the movies so you could compare them to what you were seeing -- otherwise it was hard to imagine what you were seeing in real life to what you might have seen in the movie.

Huge famed ranch! Very efficiently run, especially with so many tour groups! So much to do here! Each of the adventures was great learning fun! The instructors were amazing and so knowledgeable. Really like the locker system, except there should be more machines to accommodate the large amount of tourists. Would have liked more variety with the lunch buffet.

Do not miss out on Kualoa! Three different activities at this spectacular ranch! All were organised in a way that exposed you to different parts of the ranch. We completed the Jungle Expedition led by our guide Topher big Mahalo, the ATV tour be prepared you don't go all that fast and the Movie Sites tour with Stephanie huge Mahalo. _br/_ Everything was excellent and you literally felt as if you had stepped into the movies ! Their lunch time was 10:30 am which was nuts. The food was not barbeque as advertised here. They had fun with what they did but the Ranch owes me back money as they did not get what was paid for,

This was so much fun. We opted for the 1-hr ATV tour, rather than the horseback riding. I've never been on an ATV, and all I can say was that it was super easy, and super fun! The only down side was that the Ocean voyage was not accessible due to the July 4th holiday, but that wasn't enough to cut down on the stars. Everything else makes up for it, the Jungle Expedition and movie site tour were very entertaining. Lunch is provided, and that in itself was also pretty good. Would definitely go again if ever given the chance.

We scheduled the full day which included the ATV tour, Movie tour, and Jungle Expedition. We were disappointed that the ATV tour took the same route as the Movie tour, nothing new to see. The day we went a low pressure hit in the afternoon and it rained so hard, we were forced to stay under cover in a plastic poncho so never saw anything during the Jungle tour.

Did the 1 hour ATV with the 1.5hr ranch and movie set /1,5 hr jungle expedition/lunch options. Apart from inclement weather was a pretty good day. Not given a choice in which order you do the days activities and would have been good to have wet weather ponchos available to us on first tour which was the jungle expedition and it rained very heavily saturating most people on the open vehicle and wasn't very good start to days activities ponchos were available later trips Lunch good. ATV highlight. Only real downer is that there is only a limited hotel pickup from Waikiki and meant an extra early start to ensure we got to Sheraton hotel pickup on-time.As a thought - As the bust trip was fairly long - it would also have been good to have even just a little on board commentary from the on board tour guide on the passing scenery for the benefit of people new to Hawaii.

Kualoa Ranch has many different activities and some of the best scenery that it should be a must-do on everyone's list coming to Oahu. We have been there 2 times now and have done the Jungle Ride, Movie Tour and 1 hour ATV ride and 2 hour ATV ride and the catamaran cruise all of which were fun and had great scenery. Everything moves along very efficiently and the tour guides are wonderful. Our favorite was the ATV Ride tours! If we had the time and the chance, we would have done the zip-line tour and the horseback ride. You cannot go wrong on this one for the whole family.

My party of 4 ages 33 to 89 took the horseback ride and jeep tour of the ranch - incredible views and loads of fun. We also did the garden tour and koi pond - not as fun for our group as a whole but it was an incredible experience for my sister who is a botanist! Go figure. Great meal served at noon - wonderful shopping with great prices, I picked up most of my souvenirs from there.

The hotel pick up has to be improved. We were scheduled to be picked up but the bus did not arrive. We had to arrange on our expense to take a taxi to the Ranch ourselves which cost us USD95 I still have the receipt.

The scenery is dramatic and very beautiful. I did the horseback ride - excellent, but not very exciting for experienced riders looking for adventure. The horseback ride is a very slow, well controlled ride for beginners, single file, no passing or side by side riding. I also took the jeep into the jungle tour which was fun, great high mountain views as well as valley to ocean views. The guide was well informed of the history of Kualoa Ranch. My third selection, the garden and 800 year old pond is okay - not fun or adventurous, but if you are into gardening and nature, its worth the hour.

Fantastic day! Picked up on time and very well organised. We got to see a lot more of Oahu on our way to the ranch. We rode the AVT's and this was so much fun. We saw where they filmed many movies, and the lunch was so fresh and very welcoming after a busy morning. There is also a cafe there so you can buy your own lunch if you dont want to have the buffet. It was a fun day and there are so many activities you can choose from.

This was a great day. We opted for the ATV 1hr tour, the Jungle/Mountain 1hr tour and the Tropical Garden and Ancient Fishpond 1hr tour. _br/_ The ATV tour was fantastic fun as we had never ridden quad bikes before. You are mostly on a dirt track and just to get your heart rate elevated for a short while, there are a few rough areas to navigate through. We were able to keep up with the guide without any trouble. The views of the Kaaawa Valley are simply breathtaking. _br/_ The Jungle/Mountain tour was an unexpected delight. Although we had a downpour for about 10 minutes and being in a safari type truck with roof and open sides, this enhanced our experience. I recommend you have a plastic poncho at the ready. Those sitting next to the open window were wet by the time we got back. The rain did not diminish from the tour, the views were spectacular and the driver/guide provided plenty of information and history regarding the Ranch._br/_ The Tropical Garden and Ancient Fishpond tour was just as good. The driver/guide we had was very knowledgeable in knowing what all the plants were and what they were used for. It was raining when we got to the Fishpond so we did not venture out in the open boat our choice but we could still see it and learn about its history from the guide.
