Soar over the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Waikiki during a parasailing adventure that provides bird’s-eye view of Oahu. Choose a morning or afternoon tour to fit your schedule, parasailing for up to 10 minutes with one or two other people. During the 1-hour boat ride, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy being out on the water and look for wildlife like dolphins and whales. Round-trip hotel transport is included on this small-group tour, limited to 12 passengers.
After hotel pickup in Waikiki, you’re taken to the nearby Ala Wai Boat Harbor. Upon arrival at the check-in booth, you’ll have the opportunity to pre-order photos of your Oahu parasail flight (own expense).
Hop aboard the 12-person boat, slip on your life jacket and listen to a safety briefing. Instructions from the professional crew include how to sit in the comfortable harness for a smooth, dry take-off directly from the boat.
Each group flight (you'll be paired with one or two others) reaches a maximum of 500 feet (152 meters) in altitude, but the time you spend in air varies depending on the length of the line you select when booking — fly for 8 minutes with an 800-foot (244-meter) line, or fly for 10 minutes on a 1,200-foot (366-meter) line.
While you're flying high in the sky, enjoy the aerial views of Oahu's beautiful coastline, and keep an eye out for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish and even whales during their migratory season (mid-December to mid-May).
You can stay dry the whole time by returning to the boat's landing deck, or tell your captain you'd like a quick dip in the water.
You'll be on the boat for about an hour while everyone takes their turn parasailing; then return to the dock where your minivan awaits to take you back to your hotel. If you’ve ordered photos, preview them on a TV screen to make sure they look good before payment, and then receive a CD as a remembrance of your flight.

We really enjoyed our parasailing experience on January 12th. We took the first cruise at 8 AM and the weather was perfect as we moved out of the boat harbor with the Waikiki skyline receding in the background. There were eight tourists including us and the crew of Kevin and Jay quickly went over the safety rules and had everyone fitted with our lifejackets and ready to lift off, two at a time. We've done this before a decade ago in Maui and this was just as much fun. We were the last one's to go up and did the 1000 ft line which allowed us to stay up for about 10 minutes. The views are spectacular with the skyline and Diamond Head in the foreground. As we were reeled in back to the boat we got a nice water landing for a little liquid sunshine before we floated up again and landed on the boat. Jay had a nice set of photos of our parasailing experience on an SD card for 30 - and well worth it! A couple of folks who went up before us were taking their own photos/videos on their camera phones that were secured in a water proof transparent sleeve and attached securely with a cord however, we decided not to take a chance and enjoy the moment instead! The Hawaiian Parasail team on the ground is just as professional - Thank you Jamie and Noami!! We received a confirmation call the evening before and everything went off smoothly. We were staying right next door at the Hilton and walked over to the boat harbor in the morning. However they do provide pick up and drop off for those who are staying in area hotels within the vicinity. All in all a great way to celebrate our 30th anniversary!

This was so much fun! Great friendly crew, accomodating to us coming directly from the airport with all our luggage and holding it for us too! Even though we went up last we were up in the air before we knew it. It is so peaceful when you are up in the air... and very exciting getting the optional dunk on the way down! I personally didn't participate in this, however my 16yr old and her 2 cousins did and they had a ball. I went along as a spectator and everyone who had a go were screaming with excitement and as much as they didn't want to be dipped in the water at the end - agreed that they were happy they did. We chose the highest height and I think you would be disappointed if you didn't do the same. Like the girls said it you are going to do it - go all the way. They absolutely loved it and said the views were amazing. They even had a plane flying close by which looked like it was the same height as them. They said they would do this again in a heart beat.....
