Island Tour of Aruba

Oranjestad, Aruba

Aruba is defined by clear, deep blue skies and the heat of consistent trade winds. It is an island destination that attracts everyone from sport enthusiasts to the most enthusiastic sun worshipers. On this tour get a unique view of the islands most photographed attraction - the Natural Bridge, see the second largest city in Aruba and learn how Baby Beach got its name.

See various stops along the way including:

  • Tour at the Aloe Vera Factory
  • Stop at the Casibari Rock Formation
  • Ruins of Bushiribana - These ruins are the remains of a gold smelter that was built of natural stone in 1825 and functioned for most of the 19th century.
  • Natural Bridge - One of Aruba's most popular attractions, the bridge is a formation of coral limestone cut out by years of pounding surf, and is one of the largest rock spans of this type in the world.
  • Visit Alto Vista Chapel and California Lighthouse
  • Relax at Arashi Beach for a refreshing swim

On your return journey, you drive through downtown Oranjestad. You have the choice to be dropped off downtown to wander amongst the shops and marvel at the Dutch architecture, or be dropped off at your hotel.

My sister and I booked this tour in advance before arriving in Aruba. We had a small group of only 8 of us for the tour. We did see a lot of interesting sites on the island and our tour guide was very informative. However, we booked this 4 hour tour because it also included a swimming stop at one of Arashi Beach. We were dropped off at our hotel after only 3 hours and we didn't stop at the beach. I would recommend this tour to others because as I said, our guide was very informative and we did get to see some wonderful sites. We were just disappointed in the beach stop that we had planned for.

Not sure what my tour guide name was but it was his third day on the job. Very pleasant worker he provided great details about the history of the island, wonderful views, and time breaks for exploration. He did well providing us additional scenery to places not listed on the tour. Was able to view the whole island during this tour._br/_ Tour guy did well providing translation in English and Portuguese/ Spanish._br/_ Would recommend you to bring water and not wear sandals, as Aruba is very rocky and you are climbing and walking on various rock formations at different stops.

Expected a van of 8-10 people. but had small bus of 20? which wasn't bad. Our guide was Campbell who was knowledgeable and interesting. Stopped at the Aloe Factory interesting. Enjoyed the view from atop the Casibari Rock formations. He drove us out to the Goldmine ruins as we had time. Then stopped at the lovely Alto Vista chapel, where we could walk around for 15 minutes. Driving to the Natural Bridges, saw some beautiful crashing waves along the coast. He urged us not to walk out on the Baby bridge, so as to preserve it: sad to see so many other tourists not respecting the signs. Enjoyed a beautiful ride down to the Colorado Pt lighthouse: an unexpected caution area, larger than the day before as more pieces had fallen from the tower, but still a lovely, very windy and hot view from the high point. Nice ride back through the resort areas, selling us on a return visit of longer. It would definitely be a place we could stay a week and enjoy their beautiful sand beaches. We had enough time to shop on our return.

Great tour of the island. Your is not that long so you won't get bored easily. Tour guide is funny and a lot of fun. You hit all the major spots of the island and get a chance to stop at them. Definitely worth the money.

Aruba is a very interesting island and there was no better way to see it than on this Island tour. Our guide gave us insight and information about the island that you cannot receive anywhere else. He has so much passion for Aruba – and it really showed on this tour. Great photo opportunities. Highly recommend.

I loved it. The driver was very nice, ready to answer questions, and told us what it was like to grow up in Aruba. We got to see where people live, not just the tourist areas. We also got to see the lighthouse, how they make aloe vera gel, baby bridge etc. I liked taking the longer tour and having a little time to snorkel, brought our own gear. No place to change so wear your bathing suit under your clothes. Also got dropped off in Oranjestad. It was very easy then to take the free trolley and it was also easy to take the public bus back to the high-rise hotels. The tour bus driver pointed out the bus station. The bus was almost brand new and very clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable. No bathroom on the bus.

Our tour was shorter than expected. We did not visit the beach and were not given the opportunity to remain downtown. I was a little disappointed with that aspect of the tour. In spite of that, we had a very good tour guide who gave us a lot of the history of the island, culture, education, etc.

Our tour was amazing, Marco showed the whole island and because we were the only two he took his time and made us fall in love with Aruba. He taught us so much about the history of Aruba and kept us cool in the car. Highly recommend this tour!

The tour was perfect! Our guide Mark was very knowledgable and made us feel right at home. It was a lot of driving but we toured the whole island! Well worth the price! The next time I book an excursion it will be through this site. Initial conflicts in scheduling were resolved within 15 minutes of booking. I was quite impressed. We travel to Aruba yearly; this company will definitely get my business again!

This was an informative drive around the island. The driver was very helpful and added a good commentary without overdoing it. He answered all the questions we had about life on and around the island. I would certainly recommend doing it if you are looking for and interesting few hours to expand your local knowledge. It was good value.

Very friendly and informative guide. The tour was well worth the money, but it wasn't as exciting as I anticipated. We didn't stop as much as I would have liked to, but when we did stop it was worth the trip. We saw cave drawings, which were very exciting! Overall fun experience, but there isn't a lot to see in Aruba in terms of tours. Water sports are much better in Aruba! But overall the trip is worth doing if you want a relaxed tour.

The tour guide was very good. But the trip itself was just OK. The van had a broken air conditioner. The tour guide had told the company about the air conditioner and nothing was done. The engine of the van stopped a couple times. I didn't think we would get back to the hotel. The trip itself wasn't worth the money I paid. There wasn't much to see. My suggestion is rent a jeep and tour yourself.
