Explore the unique beauty and landscape of Aruba on this half-day off-road safari! After pickup from your hotel, your land rover will take you out into the countryside of Aruba. Learn about the history and wildlife of Aruba from your local guide as you trek to the Natural Pool.
You'll pass by the California lighthouse, where you'll have a perfect view of the island's western coastline of sandy beaches and coral shorelines. You'll visit the location where the Natural Bridge once stood. Formed by years of erosion from the sea, the coral rock bridge stretched around 100 feet (30 m). Your guide will provide you with water and snacks so you won't go hungry before reaching the Natural Pool.
Once you reach the Natural Pool, you'll enjoy some time in the water. Located on a deserted stretch of coastline, the Natural Pool is a unique formation of rock and volcanic stone which create a tranquil pool. Here, you'll have the option to swim, snorkel or relax in the sun before heading back to your hotel.

Don't take the tour if you have a bad back at he needs bounce around a lot on the road. Great scenery, great drivers/tour guides, plenty of stops to take it all inn......highly recommended! Bring your own beach socks/water shoes.

Certainly an adventure! They let you experience every bump you pay for and it and #39;s a lot of fun. Beautiful sights and the team does a great job. It was really cool seeing all of the island. The natural pool was pretty awesome. Be prepared for an extremely bumpy ride. Wear sunglasses because there is a lot of dust/dirt that flies up.

Fun but very bumpy and dusty ride -be warned, the natural pool is a trek, a long very steep rock stairway that leads to a very small pool of water about 25 to 30 feet in diameter, the only way to get in to swim, is to climb through slippery rocks. They had a 5 gallon jug of water and ran out less than half way through the tour, the 'snack' is a Natures Bounty bar. Also the 'natural bridge' collapsed years ago but they take you to see it anyway, the gift shop and rest room are boarded up closed, so if you can hold it for 4 hours your in!

This excursion was an absolute blast! Our personal guide was Ronald and he was AWESOME and was an amazing driver and we had a blast bouncing around in the back of the truck! Make him an official group Tour Guide!, We loved him! Reggie I believe was his name was our group guide and he was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone was smiling, laughing and safe! We saw so many beautiful places the island has to offer for viewing! Everyone had a great time, I suggest bringing a waterproof camera and a regular camera and wear sneakers to climb to the Natural Pool!!! So many people regretted wearing flip-flops, because its not easy to climb down and over the rocks. We cant wait to go back next year!!

when they say the ride is bumpy....they mean the ride is BUMPY.....if you have ANY back problems...don't do this trip... that being said....we had a great time....the ride was an adventure and the reward was the amazing Natural Pool and the incredible coastline. We were there the day after one of these land rovers rolled over on it's side....slightly injuring some of the riders....that's how wild the ride can get! If you like having your brain bounced around, this is the trip for you.

This was the best time. Our driver was Gerald(Tiny) and we had lots of adventure with him. The Jeeps are really fun to ride in. Sit in the third row if you really want a exciting ride. The sights are great too. It was really beautiful at the natural pool and the snorkeling was good. The other sights were great as well. We would do this tour again.

The Jeep Tour was amazing!!! The guides were extremely fun and nice and we felt very safe. I would make sure to note that if you have a hard time walking or are afraid of heights, to not do it. Getting to the natural pool which was the end of the tour was a little difficult and not for everyone. The natural pool was really cool and the off roading we did was a HUGE thrill. If you like adventure, this is definitely the excursion for you.

I recommend this trip. Our driver Roland was fabulous! Ludwick, the other assistant was awesome as well. Natural Pool, Alta Vista Chapel and of course Natural Bridge is a must see. _br/_
Warning: If you are not in hotel! you must check in 48 hours in advance or DePalm tours may leave without you. Since we flew in on Saturday night at a home and not hotel and our tour was on Monday 9:00 am as advertised, we could not get anyone live on Sunday when we called and therefore, almost missed our tour at nine am while arriving there at 8:00 at hotel Marriott Monday. Deborah, the desk attendant was awfully ruder at the DePalm Counter in the hotel. However, Roland, the driver came back and got us or we would have been left out. We had a blast thanks to Roland and Ludwick! Three stars only due bad communication and Counter attendant.

The tour guides were fantastic. They were very engaging, funny and informative. This trip was not worth the amount charged. The chapel was nice and the story behind it was okay, but I felt to much time was spent there. The largest natural bridge had collapsed leaving only a small bridge left and while there if you need the restroom you must pay $1. (gouging at it's finest). The natural pool was nice but it requires a steep walk that left many elderly people having to view it from a very good distance.

Our tour was slow to get started (slow pokes at the Marriot), but once it got going is was great. The view from up in the hills is amazing and the tour thoroughly covers the whole north side of the island. As long as you do not mind a bumpy road, I highly recommend it.

The natural pool jeep adventure was by far our favorite activity that we did in Aruba. The off road experience is a blast! The tour guide is very informative and our driver was great as well. These guys are hilarious! Very skilled drivers too! The natural pool is refreshing and gorgeous. This adventure is a great way to see the island and get away from the resorts for awhile, A 100% must do in Aruba!

This is the best adventure in Aruba. Well worth the money and time. We had four adults and two teenagers and everyone said this was the best. We felt very safe on this hair raising tour. Remember you are on vacation and Aruba time so the times are approximate. Our tour was scheduled from 1-5 but it was more like 2-7. Other than that get ready for an adventurous trip to the outerlands of Aruba where not very many people have been or seen. Our tour guide was James and he was informative. Jair was our jeep driver and he was amazing. He took off-roading to another level. He took the road less traveled so we got closer to the action and the sights. Ask for him for an unforgetable experience. The jeeps are well maintained and the intercom system that James used to communicate with us worked perfectly. Bring towels and your watershoes. They will provide snorkel equipment when you get to the Natural Pool which is fantastic. The sights along the way are amazing so bring your camera. Jair and James and the other drivers will not hesitate to take your picture so everyone in your party is in the shot. There are several stops along the way to stretch and take pictures. There are plentiful snacks and water and soda. I have been on tours where each person gets one bag of chips and a cup of water. They had granola bars and snack chips and cans of soda and cups of water. They were not stingy about giving them out. I would highly recommend this tour and will most likely do it again when we are back in Aruba.

LOOOOVVVVED the tour through the protected area of the island. We had a great driver, and the natural pool was pretty cool. Recommend bringing your own water shoes, if you have them - the pickin's were a little slim if you wanted to find your size, as opposed to a pair that you could fit into . .. . As conceived, the trip itself was wonderful -- we had the opportunity to see some beautiful areas that we could not have accessed another way. However - the tour started late (not a fan of wasting precious vacation time waiting in a bus depot) and the Jeeps were in a terrible state of repair (i.e., broken sound systems, doors that wouldn't open and headlights that were broken). I would urge future travelers to insist on ensuring the Jeeps were safe before taking this tour.

Fantastic! Not for the faint hearted though! ha! Loved the jeep ride and the Natural Pool was amazing! - I'd been told to take a bread roll and when we broke it up in the water loads of fish came to feed! The guide was funny and interesting, Found out a lot of information about Aruba. It was great to see the 'other side' of Aruba as it was desolate! It was exciting, very glad we did not have to drive, but more info about the activity level would have been nice. The snokeling was unrealistic with so many people in the pool. Life vests were necessary but not provided!
