The best decision to visit this city. The Vigeland park is a must, _br/_ We had one of the 65 days a year of sunshine and excellent weather of Oslo. Perfect! Beautiful city and do not miss the waterfront boardwalk.

Great. We spent almost all good attractions in Oslo by joining this hop-on hop off tour. Excellent way to see the city for the first timers.

With 4-5 different languages, the bus tour major spots. We were able to see good street view. I did not know that I was supposed to pick up a earphone. I wish the driver were a bit more friendly.

Brilliant way to get around Oslo and goes past all the tourist attractions of interest. We were on a cruise and the bus stopped next to our ship which was a bonus, saves walking or looking for the bus stop. Oslo is under quite a bit of building construction at present but that doesn't stop the buses going about the streets. All in all a fantastic way to get around with super commentary on the areas of interest.

The City Sightseeing Oslo HoHo Tour was wonderful - it took us around the city to see and hear about the main sights and events of Oslo. We only had one day in Oslo, so this tour gave us a great overview of a beautiful city. The narration gave us fascinating history and information. I especially enjoyed seeing Oslo's Royal Palace, the home/studio of Edvard Munch, and the site where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded. We also got a very good idea of the layout of Oslo, travelling through residential areas, seeing the cows of the royal family peacefully grazing in their meadow, and getting a thorough tour of the downtown shopping area. Oslo is a beautiful city, and we were able to see most of it in a fun and informative way.

It was good enough, but no hop on, hop off is excellent. We got what we expected to get.

Oslo is small so this tour was all you need to get to the nice places in the city

Great way to visit the city. The bus met us at the pier. We traveled around the city visually seeing the sights. Then we took a second trip around the city and got off the bus at sights we wanted to see in more depth. This was perfect!

This is the best way to get around the city...find places you want to spend time visiting and then getting there. We would definitely book the Oslo Hop-On Hop-Off tour again. Picked us up right outside the cruise boat gangway and took us on a well done tour of the city center and surrounding area. Easy to convert the voucher to tickets. The overall narration on the bus was good. Weather was less than perfect but we remained dry and comfortable on the coach

This was a pleasant tour coming off of the outfit in Stockholm, which we didn't have a great experience. The bus is punctual and follows the numbers along. I will say the marking of where the bus stops could be better especially down by Vigeland Park they actually pull in to the big bus lot_br/_ Gives you a great overview of the city and I recommend.

We booked City Sightseeing Hop-on-Off HOHO for our ports of call in Alesund, Copenhagen, Oslo and Flam. Buses were located pierside where our Holland America ship docked. Vouchers were easily exchanged for the HOHO ticket and ear bugs. Buses were clean and audio narratives were available in multi languages. In major cities, bus frequency was every 15-minutes in Alesund and Flam, buns intervals were 30-minutes apart. Great value for touring each city to see the main highlights while listening to recorded overview of local history and culture. Out Viator price booked and paid online prior to departure was cheaper than HOHO price offered by cruise ship excursion department. Highly recommend these HOHO tours.

The tour is inclusive and informative. At times the recorded information repeats itself. Don't try and engage the drivers with a question - even when stopped. They just look at you and turn away

A complete round trip is 1.5 hours which enables you to get a pretty good insight to Oslo as well as seeing many of its major attractions. Would recommend this to those that have only a short time in this beautiful city.

I just remember its RED BUS as there is another Red bus hop on hop off. It would be better to have completely different names as your staff get a lot of abuse which isn't fair. We were a bit disappointed that bus stated so late from the sea port but was good when we could get on. Also remember if it's hot have a hat handy.

We find that a city tour is a great way to get an overview of a city and hear highlights. This tour was equivalent to most tours we have taken in various cities.

The Hop-On, Hop-Off Tour is ideal when you want to explore as much as you possibly can in a limited amount of time. Fortunately, I happened upon Norway's largest food festival, which I wouldn't have know about had I not done this tour. I must state, however, that you don't need to literally hop on or off the bus.

Tour guide spoke three languages while narrating the tour. By the time he got to English, we never knew if we were looking at the attraction, coming up to it, or past it.

If arriving via cruise ship, this is a very good way of seeing Oslo as you can get on the bus right at the cruise ship dock. I recommend that you stay on the bus for one complete circuit then get off / on wherever you like, but please be aware that there may be large queues to get back on at main attractions. _br/_ A walk through the city shopping area up to the palace and back down to the ship does not take too long and there are plenty of coffee stops along the way if needed.

The first bus broke down and cost us 45 minutes in time but the stops and info were exactly what we wanted to experience. So, yes, this is a great way to enjoy Oslo.

By taking the Hop On Hop Off we were able to see the best of attractions and heritage sites around Oslo. By using the headphones provided we were able to listen to the pre recorded clear guide of every location we passed._br/_ However the number of buses available are not as much as it would seem. It took us about 3 hours to find a bus and that was after walking all around the city. We got on to the bus at the other side of the city when the starting point was mentioned as near a certain terminal on the online booking sheet. Most pedestrians and shop owners have seen the red buses with the top open but nobody knew where to take it._br/_ Once we got on to the bus the experience was great.

HOHO was a great way to get a good overview of the city. We rode the entire route first, then decided which places to get off and explore further. No problems with the audio during our visit and most buses were on time and had plenty of room up top. We found it to be a good value and time well spent.

The tour got us oriented to Oslo with a lot of information. Hop-On Hop-Off is the best way for an introduction to a city. We were able to get off, after a full city tour, to visit the spots that interested us.

This tour was pricey for the number of attractions, the length of time and the quality of the audio. The windows upstairs were poorly defrosted with the result that we could hardly see anything on the entire trip we took on a rainy day.

Good. Everything worked well, although the weather was a mess. The drivers were careful and took time to let everybody hop on the bus. I had some trouble hearing the explanation over the earphones but I guess it was the weather. There were some leaks here and there coming from the roof due to the storms.

This was ok. There was no audio that synched with the various sites.

This Hop-On Hop- Off Tour delivered as promised. The bus picked us up very close to our cruise ship and the route hit the high spots of Oslo. The narration was clear and helpful. For those who want to see a city at their own pace and choose the sights that they want to see, this is the way to do it.

It worked great for me. They had 2 busses waiting when we arrived at the cruise terminal. The voucher sped me through the line. The driver told me that they run extra busses when ships are in port. The most I waited was 15 minutes for a bus. I would definitely use them again if I returned to Oslo.

Review by:   Cheryl A M,    August 2016 Review: 3 star rating: Worth doing
The only problem is the length of time you have to wait between busses. It was much too long when you have limited time. Sometimes it was hard to hear what the stop was.

We purchased the voucher and was told a stop would be at the Palace. We waited over an hour and no bus. We could not waste any more time, so we pressed on alone. We did not use the voucher.

We had an enjoyable day seeing the sights around Oslo. We especially enjoyed the Kon Tiki museum, the Norwegian Folk Museum, the Viking ship museum, and the beautiful National Opera building. The only thing we found wrong with this tour was the fact that some of the earphone plugs did not work, but great otherwise.
