Great views. Had awesome weather, high 70's in May. The crew was very helpful.

It should be great adventure, unfortunately the weather was bad during our cruise. It was raining heavily so we could not maximize our leisure trip in Oslo Fjord.

It was a gorgeous day and the cruise was delightful. I couldn't hear the commentary if I was on the front deck so that was a small issue, but I was very happy just watching the scenery go by. It was very cold so the bar with hot drinks was an excellent addition. It would have been lovely to have a complimentary glass of glogg but as the tour was not that expensive it didn't detract from the experience. Would happily go again.

Worth the time and for sure to get a nice ride around Oslo Fjord/Bay. The narration was good and the fresh air enjoyable.

Oslo fjord is undramatic compared with the fjords seen in the cruise ship brochures - don't expect to sail between towering cliffs! Once you get beyond Oslo harbour the points of interest are mainly the many holiday homes built on the various islands. The boat itself was fine, but all the seats were enclosed - there was no deck to wander around. Overall we felt that, at 2 hours, it was a bit too long.

This was a good cruise with limited time. Saw 2 hrs of the coastline waterways. Interesting info, guide was terrific. Started out in the rain but boat is enclosed so not a problem. Mini Fjords but a taste for sure. Would recommend this if you can't get to Bergen

Plenty of information provided by our guide. The cruise was another of Oslo from the Fjord with views of many small islands in the fjord.

Very nice but much larger boat than we expected. Also very slow going. Great scenery though and we love Oslo! Would have liked to have seen more of the fjords too.

Nice tour. Great for sightseeing while relaxing after a day of walking all over the city.

Everything ok, the tour was pretty much what I expected. A nice activity for an afternook, most enjoyable if you can make it on a sunny day.

Lovely way to see Oslo from a different perspective. Defintely a must. The tour took place on the Chistiania, a wooden old looking sail ship, even though it ran on engines all the time. You have a bar on board and get to see lovely views of the islands around. A must see in Oslo!

Beautiful sites, professional crew, food, drinks, and hot chocolate on board. Not a lot of inane talking, just the basics . Sit back and enjoy views.

Probably the best way to see Oslo.

Loved the tour of the Oslo Fjords. Was great having the recorded guide along with the cruise provided a wealth of historic information not only related to the Fjords, but historic information related to Oslo, in general. The crew was also very kind.

This was a fun afternoon trip through Oslo. The ship had a nice bar service where we could purchase wine, beer, coffee or soft drinks. We went by interesting sites including small waterfront slips where people were swimming, grilling dinner and having a good time.

Took this cruise in June 2017. We were under the impression that this tour brings you into a fjord in Oslo but discovered that it's only a cruise of the harbor of Oslo. The guide told us that in Norway, fjord means a body of water not the actual fjord. The harbor is nice but the cruise does not worth the money. It's disappointing. The name of the tour is a bit deceiving.

Beautiful cruise! It was very cold on our cruise but they had hot drinks for purchase and plenty of blankets to use.

We had a very good and relaxing time on this boat ride. Having done the Norway in a Nutshell tour from Oslo to Bergen before, I was not expecting much. However, our family of 4 really enjoyed the tour. The day was beautiful and the boat was nice. I imagine the trip would not have been so good in a rainy or very cold day. We had hot chocolate from the little bar, which serves drinks and hot dogs. Learned a little bit about the area and the houses, which usually stay in families for generations.

Oslo Norway is a wonderful place... beautiful people and beauty all around ...You tour is centrally located at the pier. We hopped on our tour boat and saw the local area Fjords. Picturesque little homes along the cliffs along the way . Out of a photo book!_br/_ We later returned to pier and saw local museums and walked along the down town shopping areas and cafes had a great lunch ... Ill be back to visit Oslo Norway Gorgeous!

Very enjoyable cruise trip. It was interesting to see the Oslo Fjord and the little islands surrounding the city. There was a bar onboard the boat with hot drinks and snacks available to purchase, which was really handy because it was very cold. You and #39;ll definitely need to wrap up warm on this one!

A lovely way to spend two hours when it is not raining. You certainly come away with a different perspective of Oslo and can see the beauty. However the boat even at the end of September is crowded, and it is hard to get good photos without someones head in it._br/_ Would recommend though.

Not really a fjord tour, more a boat trip along the water. Not bad but not what I was expecting

Review by:   Sydney H,    September 2016 Review: 4 star rating: Recommended
This tour was beautiful and but popular for obvious reasons. The boat was a bit crowded but the sights made up for a lot of that. The recording playing in the background gave great insight into the area when it could be heard. There are toilets on board and food for purchase offered, although it was a bit pricy.

Review by:   sueandmike29,    September 2016 Review: 3 star rating: Worth doing
a good tour, the narration was excellent. However, the middle of the ship had a roof and no ventilation and it was unbearably hot. If you take this very popular tour, make sure that you are at the head of the very long line so you can be seated in the back of the boat where there is no roof

2 hour cruise round the islands. Informative and scenic.

Review by:   Rhian N,    September 2016 Review: 2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better
Boat was extremely crowded and some people really struggled to find anywhere to sit. Scenery was nice but nothing special - wrap up warmly as even in August it was pretty cold and everyone had on jackets.

Having already been on several ferry/boats, this was nice but nothing amazing. I thought there should have been more discussion about the Fjord, about Oslo, and/or about Norway. That said, it was a pleasant and relaxing ride.

Unfortunately it poured during a portion of our cruise. The crew made sure we were protected from the downpour.

I will state that our experience was adversely impacted by a family that could not control their young children who did nothing but scream the entire hour and a half. By the end, we couldn't wait to get off of the boat. Given that we were doing the Norway In A Nutshell trip the following morning, I had hopes of it being somewhat close to what we were going to see the next day. Unfortunately, in terms of scenery, it's nowhere close. The crew did a decent job of narrating the trip and sharing interesting facts about the area but it wasn't anything spectacular.

an interesting tour with plenty to see, knowledgeable guide,

Review by:   Paul M,    July 2016 Review: 2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better
Frankly, the use of the word fjord is somewhat misleading. It is a cruise of the Oslo channel islands. There are no high mountains surrounding this waterway.

When the tour started, dark clouds began to gather but thankfully the crew pulled out the covers not too sure how you call them to shelter us from the light drizzle. The tour was amazing, being able to see the colourful homes as well as the fjords. The wind was really strong so do dress up for the occasion!

Beautiful scenery! Probably shouldn't be considered a Fjord tour, however, since the area_br/_ around Oslo isn't a fjord : Somewhat deceptive if guests are looking for a true fjord experience.

We loved this tour which really showed off the beautiful scenery around Oslo. Lots of warm blankets and hot drinks helped us cope sitting under the awning when it rained but it was lovely when the sun came out. Highly recommended.

The boar is actually different than what it showed up on Tripadvisor. It is really small one actually. Even though that guide on the boat is good, I can't recommend this to other

Good views, but we were packed like sardines, airflow was minimal in the hot sun-drenched cabin, and the tour guide was channeling Zoolander: he would only talk about items on the left side of the boat.

Nice day out. Helped that the weather was great though. Decent amount of commentary and they had a bar on board selling drinks and snacks. Only downside was that there were too many people on board and quite a few people had nowhere to sit

They explained a lot but this one was mostly for the ride and sunset. The boat had a bar with warm drinks and food. It was lovely.

Busy and crowded, glad I booked ahead. It wasn't exactly a fjord but the bay and scenery were great.

Make sure you check in at the kiosk to get a paper ticket, even if you have a digital one. There are beers for purchase on the boat. Seating is good, sites are lovely. Bring a pen and paper and do some sketches with beers and friends.

The fjord boat trip was good but should have been better if the narration could have been heard!! Scenery was lovely but wish I could heard what was being said!!

The trip was really great and beautiful. The only thing I would say is that it was a little crowded with the large amount of people they fit on board. Other than that it was great! Especially once people calmed down with taking pictures.

Oslo was a quiet, expensive town. This tour was a nice way to get out on the water and learn some history about Norway. Easy to find the booth on the pier in town and exchange our voucher for tickets for the boat.

I enjoyed the Oslo Harbor cruise very much. I was quite surprised that it was a 2-hour tour had expected only 1 hour. So it was well worth the modest price. The boat was comfortable and carried an appropriate number of passengers. A better amplification system would be nice, as it was sometimes difficult to hear the Tour Guide.
