Ultimate Adventure Whitewater Rafting Ottawa River
Ottawa, Canada
Experience a thrilling ride down the famous Rocher Fendu rapids in Ottawa on this guided, 4-hour, whitewater rafting adventure. Board a 6-person sport raft and brave Class II to Class V rapids with a professional guide leading the way. Rafting equipment and a barbecue lunch along the riverside is included in this authentic and amazing river-rafting trip.
This sport-rafting experience begins with registration and check in at 8:30am. The trip leader will provide an introduction on safety and water conduct to ensure a thrilling but safe adventure on the river.
After the safety briefing, pick up the rafting gear and hop on a bus for a short ride to the top of the channel to board a raft and get out on the water. The first rapid of the day is just a short paddle away — the legendary 'Phil's Hole' awaits. Hear the thunderous roar of this rapid long before it can be seen up close. Between each major rapid are short, flat stretches of gently flowing water, a great feature for body surfing and floating carelessly along with the current.
A barbecue riverside lunch is served about halfway down the river before moving on to the lower stretch of rapids. After approximately four hours on the river — and after running the last major rapid on the Ottawa River — paddle into a private bay and finish the day where it began at the 165-acre resort property.
There will be time to change into dry clothes and head over to the pavilion to watch a video replay of the day on the Ottawa River.
All the rafting gear is included on this 4-hour tour.
