Our tour guide was lovely, she was very knowledgeable and would answer any questions you asked. It was very moving and sad walking around.

Easy to find the departure point. Comfortable journey to Terezin. There is a lot of walking on uneven surfaces so that should be taken into account when booking. The final part of the tour - the ghetto museum felt rushed and was hard to see much as there were so many schoolchildren around, so I cannot comment as I could not see or hear much at that point of the tour unfortunately.

Excellent tour. I'm glad I experienced it, but it was disturbing._br/_ The guide was terrific. I wish there had been more time for an actual lunch stop. The cafe in the museum only had beverages, hot dogs, burgers, and fries--and we only had around 15 minutes there.

It was really interesting altho i wish there were more to see in the camp itself.

Tour was good and informative. Would have liked longer at the second location for museum. Had to rush. Driver smoking in the bus while we were in between stops is a turn off. I’m not a smoker so sitting on the bus for the 45 minute drive back was less than pleasurable. Otherwise the guide was great.

It was pouring rain when we went, but we were a small group and the place was interesting. Our guide was super informative. I think her name was Sara, but I can't remember.

The best part of this tour was the Ghetto museum. I wish that we had gone here first because it would have made going to the small fortress much clearer.

This was a sobering experience but an invaluable one. It's hard to face some of these things but we really need to know what happened so it doesn't happen again. Our tour guide was great, very informative. We were picked up in a timely manner in a very comfortable bus/van. The Guide kept up a running commentary all the way to Terezin. Once there he led the walking tour and filled us in on all the details. He made the experience come alive for us, always made sure we were included in everything and got us back to our destination in a timely manner. I recommend this trip to anyone who is stopping in Prague.

Amazing day.Humbling experience.well worth a visit.

1. You couldn’t understand what the tour guide was saying because he was mumbling. _br/_ 2. When you could understand what he was saying, it wasn’t informative. _br/_ I wasn’t impressed, I wouldn’t take this tour. I feel like other companies could do it a lot better.

This was a wonderful experience. The tour guide at the camp was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. It was thorough and meaningful, not to forget emotional. Our tour guide on the small bus leaving from Prague was passionate, howverer, the speaker system she was using muffled her voice and if was difficult to understand much of what she had to offer.

Our guide was really good. He was extremely knowledgeable and made this emotionally difficult tour very educational and enjoyable. We toured the barracks, small fortress, cemetery, and crematorium. A lot for one day, but very well done.

We did 4 tours overall with Viator. This one by far was the most powerful. Our guide Jana Vesela was outstanding. She was very well versed in every aspect Terezin. Highly informative. Would recommend this tour to everyone to see our history as it was.

Tour was a good tour. A sad page of history for sure but we saw many localisation and had a lot of information on the subject, the life at time...

Very cool walking through the tunnels at the camp. It was a rainy day which added to the sad experience. If you are arent dachau in Munich i recommend that you visit this camp

Excellent tour of a very sad place. This was one of the better camps and you could see the conditions the prisoners had to endure. We found the pictures and movies of the conditions very poignant. Both our guides, the one from the tour company and the one at Terezin were excellent. I highly recommend this tour. Terezin is about one hour away from Prague so the ride was nice.

Highly recommended for a concentration camp visit, seems inappropriate - more an appropriate opportunity for reflection and a tasteful and respectful tribute to a grim and tragic part of the history of the area and the atrocities inflicted by the Nazis. The coach travel was a smooth ride in a small bus and the booking process straightforward. The guides tried to impart their knowledge and sense of history.

Very moving. The tour included the ghetto too.

Review by:   hulihan1,    October 2017 Review: 5 star rating: Highly Recommended
Very, very sad, however, this was one of the reasons we were on this tour. To see how those imprisoned lived and died. Excellent tour with very knowledgeable guides.

Review by:   Mike S,    October 2017 Review: 1 star rating: I do not recommend this
We felt this tour fell short of expectations. It seemed mailed in and we felt like we missed an opportunity to take more advantage of the journey and our visit to the Terezin sites to get more history, stories and context. When we took a tour on the site, we were joined up with another group and it made it very difficult to allow for any interactions. I would recommend a visit to Terezin, but not would not recommend this tour.

We visited Terezin on a dark clouded day, and the Tour left us imagining what life there was really like. Such an absolutely sad chapter of history, but presented in such a sensitive and informative manner. When you really see what you have only read about, and your guide is an excellent teacher, your experience is rich and not to be forgotten. I felt so sad, but felt that having Terezin preserved, helps to give hope that this will not happen again. Again, after taking multiple Viator tours, each has been excellent and this was no exception. Prague is a magical city, and this is part of their history.

This is horrible history but this is ALL of our history and must see while in Prague. A tour is nessessory because all activities are far-unless you rented a car. Our guide was very informative on this tragic history and shared things I was not aware of. Must see!

I had been wanting to visit Terezin for years, particularly after directing the play I Never Saw Another Butterfly, about the children of the Holocaust at Terezin. This Viator tour was well coordinated and offered us time to go around on our own a bit, in addition to the educational part of the tour. This was a good balance. I have been on other Viator tours, and have had good experiences. I would recommend definitely.

Review by:   Mandy K,    May 2017 Review: 4 star rating: Recommended
The only reason I gave this tour 4 stars is because the Terezin tour guide was good. Other than that, the tour guide that brought our group there was the most boring person on the planet and was very hard to understand. She was also VERY slow and I was concerned she might drop dead.

It was a very moving experience. Reserving with Viator was seamless. All went smoothly. The guides were excellent. I have reserved through Viator before and both times have been positive experiences.

An eye-opener! I was very emotional during the tour but I think it's important to learn from our past. The guide at the camp was very knowledgeable and explained a lot of things to us. I definitely recommend this tour, well organised and on time!
