Discover the flavors of l'île d’Orléans (Island of Orleans), located in the Saint Lawrence River east of downtown Quebec City. During your 3-hour guided tour, you'll visit a vineyard, meet the producers and taste cassis, cider, and sugar shack, and visit a chocolate factory. Discover the specialty drinks and foods of the region and learn about the history and early settlement of the Island of Orelans.
During your 3-hour guided tour on the Island of Orleans, you will stop in different shops and meet local producers, with tastings included in each of the 5 stops. You'll have the chance to taste chocolate at the Chocolaterie, and walk around and enjoy scenic views of Québec city. Then taste wine in a beautiful vineyard with a splendid view of the Beaupré coast.
Eventually, you'll get to taste the ice cider, a specialty of the region. Afterwards, visit a sugar bush and learn how to make maple syrup. Finally, you will discover the blackcurrant. A small sangria will be offered for tasting.
The duration of the tour is approximately 3.5 hours. As you travel in a 21-seat bus, your friendly guide will share some stories and legends about the Island of Orleans. Bottled water is provided by it during the trip.
