Jocelyn was a wonderful tour guide! She was funny, upbeat and informative. We toured a variety of restaurants and ended up in the Christmas market down by the St. Lawrence River. The only thing I would have changed was the time the tour started. It starts at 2 pm but by the time we finished it was pitch black out and there was a blinding snowstorm. To get to our inn we had to walk up a few steep hills in sub-zero weather. That is one way to burn off some of the calories but unpleasant in the winter. My favorite stops were the chocolate shop and the ice apple wine shops. Jocelyn also gave us some history of the areas we toured which added to my knowledge of the city. I would not have seen these areas had it not been for this tour!

Our family of 4, with 2 adult 'children' took this tour in mid-december. We visited 6 or 7 locations, including the farmer's market and a chocolate shop all served us delicious tastes. There were several locations that we returned to on our own for drinks or snacks later in our trip. However..... 3 of the locations served almost identical hors d'oeuvres and it was too 'sales' focused. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, though we felt a bit like school children, with head counts at every stop.

We were first time in Quebec City- what an amazing place! One day before our tour every street was covered in a lot of snow, but nobody was complaining, just waking together 12 people. We fallowed a very professional and nice guide Harry which showed us the best places in the City. We stopped in more than four restaurants to try local food and drinks- delicious! Highly recommended to everyone!

This was a GREAT tour. We had samples of delicious food and a taste of Quebec's rich history. Another benefit of going on this tour was that it helped us get our bearings so that we were able to more easily navigate the city streets on our own. That said, the best part of the tour was our guide, Jocelyne, who was exceptionally sweet and energetic. I'd give it more stars for her alone if I could.

Absolutely one of the best tours we have ever done. It was soooo cold but the tour guide took special care to get us inside as much as possible. His knowledge of the area was fantastic and the 3 hour tour flew by. We thoroughly enjoyed Simon and would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Great tour. Even thought some locations were closed for the Christmas holidays, the tour was very good. As a side benefit, out tour guide Harry, also gave us a free history lesson about the the city. Definitely a must do if visiting Quebec.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Canada. Our tour guide was friendly and informative. I was travelling with my two sons aged 18 and 20 years and it was as interesting and fun for them as for me. I liked the small group and ability for us to share experiences as well. Despite the freezing temperatures we enjoyed the walk and talk. Best part was the apple wine and food at the christmas market.

I booked the Christmas in Quebec City - Small-Group Gourmet Food tour on-line for my boyfriend and I and we were really glad we did. We thought the tour was enjoyable and worth the money. We felt that our guide Richard did a great job and was quite knowledgeable, as we learned a lot about the history of Quebec and specifics about the Old Town. We also enjoyed the route that we took, along with the variety of food samples along the way. Out last stop of the tour was the Christmas Market which gave us a chance to get out of the cold and taste some great apple wine. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Quebec City during the Christmas Season.

Tour guide had a great sense of humour and a lot of knowledge about the area. The food was lovely as were the business oweners/workers in the places we visited. Great way to see more of Quebec City and find some quaint backstreet restaurants that are off the main tourist track.

Despite not so favouriable weather, this was the best start to our Christmas Eve in a great city. Our guide Harry was great, knowledgeable, fun and happy to share personal traditions and stories about "his" Quebec while introducing us to the sights and tastes of Christmas in Quebec._br/_
The stops were good, the food yum and all-round a great time and something a bit different to experience in the city.

The best stop was the market place. The vendors were friendly and the sausage and ice ciders was a great treat.
